Participación del alumnado en la toma de decisiones: una experiencia de la justicia social en la Universidad - [Student participation in decision-making: an experience of social justice at the University]
- In recent decades, teaching work in all educational stages, including the university, has undergone a continuous process of transformation focused on educational innovation. This has occurred at a technological level and at a methodological level. Among the latter, a methodological perspective has been developed those questions, from the postulates of critical pedagogy, educational practices seeking higher levels of participation among students, justice and equality. In this work we start from Conell's positioning to attend to curricular justice, which is why an experience carried out during the 2019-2020 academic year is presented in two subjects of the fourth grade of primary education in which a curricular negotiation process was carried out that implied the contents of the subjects and the assessment systems. The results show that there is a positive assessment of the students towards this type of proposal, although significant differences have been found in the assessments according to the subject in which said proposal was made. These differences are due to various factors, including the type of subject (theoretical; practical), the teacher's explanations and his methodology in each subject. Despite this, a high motivation and participation has been found among the students.
