Recent researches show the effectiveness of audiovisual tools and of arts therapies in managing dysfunctional behaviors in this category of people, especially when peers are involved. The case discussed in this article is part of an experimental project which aims to promote the support of minors with ASD through audiovisual tools. We will illustrate the use of therapeutic filmmaking in a couple of ASD adolescents and their main behavioral changes in order to promote new types of intervention not only based on changing dysfunctional behaviors but also on the identity development and on the strengths of the minor with ASD, through creativity and peers' relationships","PeriodicalId":366273,"journal":{"name":"Ricerche di Pedagogia e Didattica. To the aim of investigating the relationship between reading practice and comprehension, a systematic review of the literature was conducted, taking into account empirical research studies. The totality of the studies found positive effects on comprehension. The results also revealed that this area of study is mostly focused on the primary school age group. Indeed, it is nearly always related to other aspects of language development but also to the promotion of a positive attitude towards reading, motivation, socialization, emotional skills and understanding of reality. Little heed seems to be paid to the optimal way of reading. The results suggest the need for a greater reflection on this practice and a more precise identification of how to implement reading aloud in order to identify concrete actions to support reading, both in scholastic and extra-scholastic contexts.","PeriodicalId":366273,"journal":{"name":"Ricerche di Pedagogia e Didattica. The article shows the structure and results of this research, returning the demand for training of outgoing students and, at the same time, identifying the social and professional requests from the representatives of the Social Partners and the Presidents of the Department's Degree Courses. From an epistemological point of view, some psychological aspects and their relationship with the general construct deserve further investigation. The present study aimed to evaluate the relationship between logical thinking, divergent thinking and spatial skills with CT. Elithorn test, Raven’s Progressive Matrices, Creative Thinking test were evaluated on students from 3rd to 5th grade, a sample of 51 pupils for the first training, and a sample of 43 for the second one. The tests were administered before and after the coding activities. Teachers and researchers collaborated on the planning and implementation of the training. The activities consisted of eight workshops, based on several CT-related processes (planning, problem-solving tasks using building bricks, storyboards, coding with LegoWeDo and Scratch). Qualitative data were collected in the form of a focus group and an interview.  They were conducted with the teachers involved to investigate their perception at the end of the experiment. Results showed a relevant relationship of CT with spatial planning, and a moderate one with logical thinking, while no impact was due to creative thinking. These results further elucidate the recent CT theoretical framework, in which spatial skills play a meaningful role.","PeriodicalId":366273,"journal":{"name":"Ricerche di Pedagogia e Didattica. Since the research was characterized by a very complex methodological framework, that included several research and training spaces, the article will focus only on a specific dimension, in which the author was involved in a more significant way as a research fellow: the discussion group with men asylum seekers and some male and female practitioners of the association. But there is one detail of Collodi’s original story that could explain this stubborn tendency of the puppet not to “listen” to adults and their world: Geppetto in Pinocchio did not carve his ears. A non-text that recalls interdisciplinary readings of the story, between art and pedagogy, psychology and anthropology. How can a child listen without ears? Yet Pinocchio hears, he hears loud: then there is a difference between hearing and listening. The article intends to shed light, keeping faith with Collodi’s original text, on the puppet's anatomical-craftsmanlike shortcomings, but above all conceptual, therefore physical and metaphysical, shortcomings that have made this universal history of listening education possible: the ears, but also the \"maternal\" home and, precisely, the absent motherhood like the ears.","PeriodicalId":366273,"journal":{"name":"Ricerche di Pedagogia e Didattica. Here, we address reading comprehension from the point of view of several disciplines: education (for assessment), logic (for inference), and linguistics (for foreign language), within an experimental framework. Our goal was to analyze and compare whether the properties of a test (say length, complexity, and inference) and the attributes of a test-taker (say test taking strategies, metacognitive awareness of reading strategies, and academic fields) have an effect on reading comprehension performance in native (Spanish) and foreign language (Italian). A quantitative cross-sectional study was performed on a sample of 35 students from a foreign languages centre; we used generalized linear mixed models to analyse the data. We found that the attributes of the test had an effect on performance in both languages, while the attributes of the test-takers had an effect only in foreign language.","PeriodicalId":366273,"journal":{"name":"Ricerche di Pedagogia e Didattica.
