The goal of this 2nd part of the elaboration is to focus on the conceptual premises that have been developed to sustain, in the Province of Trento, the proposal of two Debate Tournaments - WordGames (in English) and WortBewerb (in German) - in which the typical features of debates are matched with the challenge of performing those tournaments in a foreign language. {"title":"Insegnanti consapevoli e critici dell’azione didattica attraverso l’analisi SWOT","authors":"F. Anello","doi":"10.6092/ISSN.1970-2221/9458","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.6092/ISSN.1970-2221/9458","url":null,"abstract":"The present contribution aims at collecting the outcomes achieved by 211 subjects, who are going to teach in primary and children’s school, who used the SWOT Analysis as a context investigation tool to plan, implement and evaluate classroom interventions. In particular, this paper analyzes and discusses the effectiveness of a training program for future teachers, attending the 3rd year of university internship, able to strengthen their critical awareness through a functional knowledge of the school environment and of pupils.The pre-experimental research, which covered nine months in the Academic Year 2017-2018, has actually increased the performance of the sample group, consisting of undergraduate students attending the degree course in Primary Education Sciences of the University of Palermo. Although the findings concern only one experimental situation, that cannot be generalized, the results showed an appreciable increase in the critical awareness of the group of trainee teachers, who have made a careful diagnosis of the educational situation functional to their teaching planning.","PeriodicalId":366273,"journal":{"name":"Ricerche di Pedagogia e Didattica. This first article gives an overview on language policies in the studied region – Trentino-Alto Adige – and proposes educational challenges and the use of debate competitions as a tool for education to dialogue. This paper shows how debate competitions in a second and/or third language meet actual needs of the contemporary educational systems, mostly in promoting the development of relational capabilities, along with logical and argumentative skills, which commonly contribute to fostering the growth of each individual. {"title":"The Debt of Reason. Bildung is the redemption of the human from heteronomous and dominant forms. Whilst there is a debt of Reason, what it matures towards the sensible. In the \"Letters on aesthetic education\" Schiller proposes an aesthetic mediation between sensible and rational, the need to think of a third mediator between the two that he calls \"aesthetic state\" or \"asthetischer Spieltrieb”. This mediation anticipates the current connection between transformative learning and Bildung. The project involved teachers, children and parents to deepen the ethical understanding of subjects aged four and five, to explore the effectiveness of guided dialogue in the classroom and extension activities aimed at promoting reflections, ethical discussions and moral development in children in pre-school age. The data was collected through observations, interviews, activities, questionnaires; the analysis of the data is in particular qualitative, without neglecting a quantitative contribution. Per conseguire tale obiettivo, la letteratura scientifica sul tema e analizzata al fine di ricavare una sorta di lessico minimo utile a orientare chi deve progettare interventi educativi di contrasto all'omofobia. Fava","doi":"10.6092/ISSN.1970-2221/10475","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.6092/ISSN.1970-2221/10475","url":null,"abstract":"Adriano Olivetti (1901-1960), the well-known intellectual and entrepreneur who created the factory which produced the typewriters and calculators that became icons of design and efficiency around the world, considered Saint Augustine’s The City of God the first attempt to explore the concept of “Community”. Following in Augustine’s footsteps, Olivetti described The City of Men (1960), a systemic territorial, political, administrative, economic and cultural entity tailored to the needs of individuals, where people could fully realise their inner potential. He called this conceptual and concrete entity the “Community”, sowing the seed that would lead to the moral and civil reconstruction of postwar Italy whose aim was to merge the country’s productive-industrial and political-social worlds.
