Using the films “Civil a pályán” (Civilians on the Field, 1951), “Becsület és dicsőség” (Honor and Glory, 1951) and “Dalolva szép az élet” (Singing Makes Life Beautiful, 1950) as examples, the work analyses the details appearing in the feature films that may be in some way associated with the Soviet Union (internal and external spaces; people’s dress; objects other than pieces of decoration; verbal references and songs; a Soviet visitor; other aspects related to everyday life). The author identifies forms of address used by the characters indicating the relationship between various groups (namely, communist leaders, workers, saboteurs). Scientific novelty lies in proving that there is strong Soviet influence in the analysed feature films, since not only visible Soviet symbols, but also verbal references and even a case of a Soviet worker appearing in person were discovered. The research findings showed that forms of address in the feature films under consideration helped to clearly define a hierarchy in the depicted society, highlighting the importance of the community of workers and reflecting an awareness of collectivism.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125962546","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper examines and analyses vivid examples of children’s opera written by outstanding composers, “The Snow Bogatyr” by С. A. Cui, “The Mouse Tower”, “The Dream of the Fir” by A. T. Gretchaninov. Scientific novelty lies in identifying the originality of the musical language of the children’s opera works under consideration, in particular, it is determined that the opera action is “commented” through repeated themes, motifs, intonations, individual elements, sound-expressive techniques enhance the detail of musical speech, while the musical language of the work serves as the main narrator, the carrier of the main fairy-tale function in children’s opera. As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that a pedagogical orientation contributing to children’s education is manifested in the specified detailed principle of the musical language of children’s operas.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133051013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper presents a detailed performance analysis of Chaliapin’s interpretation of folk songs “Eh, Vanka” and “Dubinushka (Russian Laborers’ Song)”; shows the interpretations of folklore singing traditions in F. I. Chaliapin’s academic performance. The novelty of the paper lies in substantiating the fact that intonation in F. I. Chaliapin’s creative work becomes the main conduit for the performing idea of a composition. As a result, it has been determined that such traditional techniques of folk culture as the complete freedom of intonation and rhythmic utterance; bending, stops inside a phrase with the help of agogic extensions; an abundance of fermata over a note and over a rest; strict restraint and concentration focused on the movement of thought and feeling are traced in Chaliapin’s style of performing folk songs.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126754529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The scientific novelty of the research is accounted for by the fact that the attention of music scholars is primarily focused on the theoretical aspects of studying D. Scarlatti’s creative work, while the practical issues related to the methodology of study and the peculiarities of the performance interpretation of the composer’s clavier music heritage remain overlooked. As a result of the research, the authors come to the conclusion that the task of the teachers studying D. Scarlatti’s works with their students lies in the need to get the students to capture a “living breath” in the music of the past that was innovative and original for the time of its creation in their performance interpretation.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114852941","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The material presented in the paper is addressed to those musicians whose musical abilities do not manifest themselves in the obviously higher sides of the cognitive sphere, for example, in phenomenal memory, etc. The paper considers two aspects of a musician’s creative activities – the intellectual one and the emotional one; determines the roles of divergent qualities of a musician. The novelty of the study lies in a scientific substantiation of divergent thinking development in musical performance practice. As a result, the main issues of educating a modern performing musician have been identified. The paper describes the “Leningrad” symphony by D. D. Shostakovich (1941) as the personification of Leningraders’ suffering and resistance, as a symbol of confidence in victory; presents a brief biography of B. Tishchenko, a student and follower of D. D. Shostakovich; analyses the program symphony “The Blockade Chronicle”, which reflects the perception of the war in all its unsightliness, inhumanity and senselessness. The scientific novelty of the study lies in determining the main features of the program symphony “The Blockade Chronicle”, such as the cinematic quality and theatricality, presented in the form of recordings of the sound component reflecting real military events. Such a sound component is an integral part of the symphony and requires the use of an expanded percussion section in addition to a large symphony orchestra for its performance. As a result, it has been proved that the image of the war in B. Tishchenko’s symphony “The Blockade Chronicle” is primarily associated with the irretrievable loss of the most beautiful and pure things, with the loss of humanity by a person.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117249096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
