Dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan tentang sansiote samppate-pate. This happens because the farmer profession does not provide results that are in accordance with the risks of the work done. In addition, the church as one of the organizations that lives in the context of agriculture still revolves around worship rituals. The Church has not responded well to the agricultural context. This has led to a decrease in congregation members' appreciation of God's presence in the context of agriculture. It also causes the work as a farmer not to be considered a gift from God, but a job that is not worth doing. This paper aims to see the views of Batak Karo Protestant Church (GBKP) Kuta Buluh congregation members regarding God, the farmer's church and work as a farmer. The results show that members of GBKP Kuta Buluh Church still feel God's presence in their lives as farmers. Members of GBKP Kuta Buluh congregation argue that life as a farmer is God's gift. However, there are also members of the GBKP Kuta Buluh congregation who consider that the farmer profession is an unworthy job. {"title":"When the Mystics Embrace Love: Comparing the Insights of Yunus Emre and Jacopone da Todi","authors":"R. Chandra","doi":"10.47900/nptrs.v4i1.89","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.47900/nptrs.v4i1.89","url":null,"abstract":"Many studies on Yunus Emre, a Turkish Sufi and Jacopone da Todi, an Italian Franciscan, focus on their views of mystical love, especially concerning mystical union, however, the term ”love” that both use needs more exploration This study explores the question of whether their views of love have more similarities or differences by comparing the aspects of love, the center of love and its origin, and the end of the journey in love. Through thematic analysis, the results show that both conveyed a similar view about love, its origin, and the union with God as the destination of love. However, although they similarly view love as centered on God, their views of God show differences. Jacopone focuses on Christ as God who embraces pain and suffering, while Yunus is more apophatic in his insight into God. Dalam aturan terbaru bahwa Perguruan Tinggi (PT) wajib memberikan hak belajar bagi mahasiswa di luar PT sebanyak 2 semester atau setara 40 SKS, ditambah 1 semester  setara 20 SKS di luar prodi agar PT memiliki delapan kriteria indikator kerja utama (IKU), dimana salah satu diantaranya mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman di luar kampus. Fokus masalah dalam artikel ini adalah: bagaimana memahami pesan sekolah sebagai alat sosial kesadaran dalam relasinya dengan hak belajar mahasiswa di luar PT; serta bilamana terjadinya titik temu antara berlangsungnya hak belajar mahasiswa di luar PT dengan tujuan institusi PT. Fenomena tersebut kemudian dilihat berdasarkan perspektif pembelajaran dari John Dewey. It was used to determine the most suitable English learning media for them. The recent study was done at Kusalamitra homeschooling at the level of Senior High School students. This study belonged to qualitative research with case study approach. There were 30 students involved in this study. Questionnaires and interview were used to collect the data in this research. The data gathered then analyzed qualitatively with three steps, namely data collection, data reduction and data verification or can be called drawing conclusion. Based on the data analyzed, there was a research finding. The students need a handy supplementary material which could be used and carried easily. Daulay dalam studi Ilmu Hubungan Internasional di UGM (Universitas Gajah Mada) Yogyakarta, di bawah bimbingan Prof. Dr. Mochtar Mas’oed dan Diah Kusumaningrum, S.I.P, M.A. Dalam penelitiannya ia memfokuskan perhatiannya terhadap peristiwa yang pernah menjadi perhatian publik dunia pada waktu itu yaitu serangan gedung WTC (pusat ekonomi) dan gedung Pentagon (Departemen militer) di Amerika Serikat [untuk selanjutnya disingkat dengan AS] pada 11 september 2001. Peristiwa tersebut membuat publik dunia bertanya-tanya bagaimana mungkin negara superpower seperti AS bisa lengah terhadap serangan terorisme? Sebelum lanjut kita perlu mengetahui bahwa sejak tahun 1960-an AS berada di puncak kejayaannya baik dari segi ekonomi, politik, militer maupun ilmu pengetahuan. Oleh sebab itu dalam penelitian ini secara garis besar hendak mengajukan pertanyaan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana keterlibatan AS di dalam kemenangan Afghanistan melawan Uni Soviet? Selanjutnya, bagaimana reaksi pemimpin Afghanistan terhadap AS paska kemenangannya terhadap Uni Soviet (2) Bagaimana sikap politik Presiden George W. Bush terhadap paska tragedi 11 September 2001? (3) Bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan Presiden Bush dalam memberikan rasa aman bagi masyarakat AS paska tragedi 11 September 2001? (4) Bagaimana reaksi publik terhadap sikap politik luar negeri Presiden Bush paska insiden tersebut? Metode penelitian Daulay yaitu kualitatif (kepustakaan). Untuk memperkuat tesis daripada penelitian ini, Daulay merasa perlu untuk melakukan diskusi yang cukup intens dengan dua narasumber yang memiliki kapasitas untuk berbicara tentang politik Amerika Serikat yaitu Dr. Rizal Mallarangeng dan Prof. Dr. William (Bill) Liddle.Temuan dari penilitian secara garis besar ialah Bush berhasil melakukan politisasi agama dan menyebarkan ideologi neokonservatisme untuk mendukung agenda politik luar negerinya melawan Irak. Hal ini semata-mata untuk memastikan rasa aman bagi AS maupun negara Israel yang berada di tengah-tengah negara Arab yang mayoritas Islam. Pernikahan levirat tersebut sebenarnya didasarkan pada Ulangan 25:5-10 dapat terlihat dalam kitab Rut secara jelas. Melalui tulisan ini diharapkan para pembaca nantinya dapat mengetahui keterkaitan antara Ulangan 25:5-10 dan penerapannya dalam kisah pernikahan Rut dan Boas. Penulisan ini menggunakan metodologi sistematika yang dikemukakan oleh Winarto.  Metodologi Sistematika  dalam penulisan ini dilakukan dengan cara   mencermati suatu bagian Alkitab dan mengkaitkannya dengan pemahaman teologis berdasarkan Alkitab secara keseluruhan. Pertama dengan mencermati konsep pernikahan levirat dalam Ulangan 25:5-10. Kemudian penulis mencermati Rut 4 untuk mengkaitkannya kembali dengan konsep-konsep yang telah ditemukan dari proses mencermati Ulangan 25:5-10. Pada akhir pembahasan ini, kedua bagian tersebut akan dikaitkan dengan menarik kesimpulan dalam  pemahaman teologis mengenai sejarah keselamatan umat Allah. Adapun kesimpulanya adalah : (1)  Ulangan 25:5-10 dengan kitab Rut memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana Allah bertindak dalam sejarah. While many scholars claim that there are diversities within NT, some argue that eschatology, especially the teaching about judgment probably can become a theological theme connecting the NT. This article will examine that proposal. The research question is how to understand the role of the teaching of Judgment in the New Testament theology.
