Even though the family does not have an offspring. The research was conducted in Tlogo Village, Kanigoro District, Blitar Regency. With informants 5 families who have no offspring, after approximately 10 households. The research method used in this research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research methods used are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study show that the 5 families have good household conditions, despite not having a child. Qualitative descriptive methods were used in this study with documentation technique in a document in the form of student book entitled \"English Skills For the Future\" for class XII. The HOTS theory (C4 = analyze, C5 = evaluate, and C6 = create) in Anderson & Krathwohl's revised Bloom's taxonomy was used as a reference for analyzing the data. This study focused on data sourced from the Swing Into Action section contained in all chapters in the student book with a total of 37 data questions. The results of this study showed that 30% of the questions were C4, 32% of the questions were C5, and 38% of the questions were C6. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification, and conducting data validity. Sudirman","doi":"10.22146/jsp.72270","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22146/jsp.72270","url":null,"abstract":"A large part of the uplands in East Kalimantan has been converted to oil palm plantations through partnership schemes, making it increasingly difficult for the indigenous Dayak people to find land for swidden agriculture. Therefore, a better understanding of partnership discourses and narratives is needed. This article adopts a Foucauldian perspective on truth regimes and ethnographic methods to examine the Indonesian government's strategy to expand state space for oil palm expansion in Dayak customary lands in East Kalimantan. This article argues government strategies need to be formulated by involving a robust analysis of the circular power-knowledge relationship. This perspective allows an understanding of partnerships at the discourse level, i.e., as an extension of power, not just stories about community empowerment behind the invisible hands of capitalism. Oil palm partnerships are a temporary policy structure as it confronts another power‐knowledge configuration: the Dayak community. Within this framework, customary practices are not static but are redefined continuously. In the uplands of East Kalimantan, oil palm agribusiness partnership policies often result in subjugating, disqualifying, and marginalizing practices. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies. Data analysis techniques were carried out through descriptive analysis. The results of this study, namely the imagery contained in the 10 poetry titles in the poetry ontology of Joko Pinurbo's Surat Kopi are 3 imagery, namely visual, auditory, and motion imagery. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of group guidance on problem solving techniques on student learning discipline. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design model. The research population of all class XI MIPA students at Sultan Agung Islamic High School 1 Semarang amounted to 72 students. The research sample was 35 students of grade XI MIPA 2 at Sultan Agung 1 Islamic High School Semarang. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. Psychological scale data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. Test the hypothesis of simple linear regression. The results of the study showed the influence of group guidance with problem solving techniques on student learning discipline. The influence provided by group guidance services with problem solving techniques on the learning discipline of grade XI MIPA students at Sultan Agung Islamic High School 1 Semarang obtained an R-Square value of 0.38, group guidance services with problem solving techniques had an influence of 38%. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of group guidance using self-management techniques on the learning discipline of class XII IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Keuntungan Brebes. The study used a quantitative approach with Pre-Experimental Designs of the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The population of this study were all students of class XII IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Keuntungan Brebes totaling 72 students, consisting of class XII IPS 1 totaling 36 students and class XII IPS 3 totaling 36 students. The research sample was students of class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Keuntungan Brebes, totaling 36 students. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique is a non-test with a psychological scale. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. Test the hypothesis using paired samples t-test. The results showed that there was an effect of group guidance using self-management techniques on the learning discipline of class XII IPS 1 students at SMA Negeri 1 Keuntungan Brebes. The magnitude of the effect is indicated by the difference in the mean pre-test and post-test, that is, the mean pre-test is 80.53 to the mean post-test is 84.89, so an average increase is obtained. mean of 4.361 or 4%. {"title":"Fiscal Decentralization and Corruption: The Facts of Regional Autonomy Policies in Indonesia","authors":"Ahmad Syarif","doi":"10.22146/jsp.69007","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22146/jsp.69007","url":null,"abstract":"Decentralization has posed new problems in Indonesian local governments, including disparities between regions, poor public services, fiscal indiscipline, and corruption cases. Before the implementation of regional autonomy, corruption cases were reported only in a few regions. A year after decentralization started, in 2002, more corruption cases were reported in more regions nationwide. The irony is that such decentralization, initiated to reduce corruption in the government, ended up with more corruption in the regions. This study investigates the relationship between fiscal decentralization—as proxied by capital expenditure and fiscal independence index—and the corruption index. This study also analyzes the macro factors and regional characteristics: inflation, civil servants’ salaries, education levels, and the differences in the corruption index at the regional level. The method used in this study is regression analysis by using panel data from longitudinal studies involving 15 cities in Indonesia in 2008, 2010, 2015, and 2017. The finding shows that the relationship of fiscal decentralization—expenditure, inflation rates, civil servants’ salaries, and local corruption—are not statistically significant to the corruption index. By contrast, the relationship between the fiscal independence index and educational level are statistically significant. The implementation of fiscal decentralization on expenditure increases corruption risks due to ineffective budget management, individual corrupt tendencies, and weak supervision system. The method used in this research is Value Chain Mapping, Gender Sensitivity Value Chain Mapping, and Canvas Business Model. Value Chain Mapping is used to map activities ranging from upstream to downstream from a tempe industry value chain in Tenggilis Surabaya. Gender Sensitivity Value Mapping is used to map and analyze the role of gender in the tempe industry value chain. Whereas the Canvas Business Model is used to redesign the tempe industry business model in Tenggilis  Surabaya based on value, gender, and competitive advantage. The results of this study are Value Chain Mapping and Tempe Business Model  for the home-based tempe industry. The role of women housewives in the tempe industry value chain in Tenggilis  Kauman is almost 50%. For the tempe production system and marketing management for the SME scale, such as the tempe industry in Tenggilis  tempe village, the maturity level has reached the optimal level, level 5. For external suppliers, the maturity level is still low at level 2 or still in the development stage. For market orientation, competitors and product development are already at a competitive level. Revenue Streams from the tempe business process in Kampung Tempe is the sale of tempe and its processed products, as well as a tourist visit. \u0000  \u0000Keywords: gender role, tempe industry, tempe business model, value chain mapping \u0000  \u0000Abstrac. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Value Chain Mapping, Gender Sensitivity Value Chain Mapping, dan Canvas Business Model. Value Chain Mapping digunakan untuk memetakan kegiatan mulai dari hulu hingga hilir dari suatu rantai nilai industri tempe di Tenggilis Surabaya. Gender Sensitivity Value Chain Mapping digunakan untuk memetakan dan menganalisis peran gender dalam rantai nilai industri tempe. Sedangkan Canvas Business Model digunakan untuk mendesain ulang model bisnis industri tempe di Tenggilis  Surabaya berdasarkan nilai, jenis kelamin, dan keunggulan bersaing. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Pemetaan Rantai Nilai dan Model Bisnis Tempe untuk industri tempe rumahan. Peran ibu rumah tangga dalam rantai nilai industri tempe di Tenggilis  Kauman hampir mencapai 50%. Untuk sistem produksi tempe dan manajemen pemasaran skala UKM seperti industri tempe di Kampung Tempe Tenggilis  tingkat kematangan sudah mencapai tingkat optimal yaitu tingkat 5. Untuk pemasok eksternal tingkat kematangan masih rendah pada tingkat 2 atau masih dalam tahap pengembangan. Untuk orientasi pasar, pesaing dan pengembangan produk sudah berada pada tingkat kompetitif. However, the geopolitical clashes over Kosovo and the war in Ukraine have repositioned the role of media diplomacy in international politics. This paper aims to analyze Kosovo's media diplomacy in the following key moments: at the time of the declaration of independence (2008), and during the Russian aggression in Ukraine (2022). Data were collected from global media such as CNN, Al Jazeera, Reuters, and The New York Times, which have given space to Kosovo’s political actors and influential global politicians. The US president Bush was the example of the enormous media coverage in 2008. Messages of these communications were analyzed using the framing method. The results show that media diplomacy revived in three cases: before and after Kosovo's declaration of independence in 2008, and again in 2022, with the fear that the Russian scenario for Ukraine would be followed by Serbia against Kosovo.
