Rub","doi":"10.14627/537707007","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14627/537707007","url":null,"abstract":"By the year 2030, the 20 km long highway section Aarau-Birrfeld of the Swiss national road A1 will be expanded from 4 to 6 traces. As an integral planning basis for all project participants, the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) commissioned a high-resolution and highly accurate 3D model of the complete infrastructure. At the beginning of 2018, BSF Swissphoto was contracted for the extensive surveying and processing tasks, which included the combination of different measurement methods as well as the combination of the resulting data sets for a georeferenced visualization of the project area. The goal of the project was to deliver a 3D model that would enable the planning of all necessary activities from the preliminary to the executive project without the need for further site visits of the project area by the planning team. Since satellite-based technology, which has been researched, tested and used practically outdoors for many years, is not available inside buildings, other technological approaches have been analyzed and prototyped for several years. The most widely used approach is the use of Bluetooth beacons. This paper shows weaknesses of this methodology based on a metrological investigation and proposes an alternative approach using Pedestrian Dead Reckoning, supported by Bluetooth Beacons and the navigation model used. The positive aspects from an ecological point of view are in contrast to the negative aspects from the point of view of the transport infrastructure, flood protection systems and land use. Coarse woody debris brought in as part of renaturation projects is therefore particularly in the public eye. However, there are no reliable data collections on this. Therefore, in a first step, a prototypical infrastructure for recording the mobility of coarse woody debris should be designed and developed. This article presents the initial situation and the chosen approach. The detection of their nests with the help of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) promises less effort and disturbance. However, there are considerable uncertainties concerning the disturbance of the breeding birds. This article proposes an approach and presents first results on how the effects of disturbance caused by UAVs can be measured at breeding-bird sites on cultivated pastures. During the research project „FHprofUnt 2018: Farming 4.0 im Grünland“, the effects of disturbance by UAVs were investigated at different flight altitudes, by measuring the heartbeat-rate of a breeding Eurasian Curlew (Numenius arquata). In addition, the heartbeat-rate response caused by raptors flying over and other disturbances was measured. The results show that different flight levels of the UAV caused different heartbeat responses. Also, the increased heart-rates measured as a reaction to UAVs are comparable with responses to overhead raptors. In this article the method to investigate the heart-beat response and first results were presented. In the course of this Project further birds will be studied to increase the significance of the results. A structured evaluation of 14 smart cities revealed that the variety of published transport data is big.
