Junction temperature and thermal resistance are the main parameter that reflection of the heat dissipation capability of the LED device. In this study, relationships between thermal resistance and luminous flux and electrical power are simplified based on the photo-electrothermal theory. A new method using the optical-electrical characteristic of the LED is proposed to measure thermal resistance and junction temperature. The calculation of thermal resistance of the LED utilizes the reduction rate of luminous efficacy with the increasing temperature ke, heat dissipation coefficient kh, heat sink temperature Ths and the electric power corresponding to maximum luminous flux Pd*. The thermal resistances of different brands and different power of LED devices are measured; the measuring results are highly consistent with nominal thermal resistance, which confirms the feasibility and generality of the proposed method. Wireless power transfer technology is the transmission of electrical energy from a power source to an electrical load without man-made conductors. Traditional LED lighting system sensitive to rigid environment such as humidity, corrosive and flammable. Combining the advantages of wireless electrical power transfer and LED semiconductor lighting technology, the wireless-driven LED (WD-LED) lighting system has advantages of electrical shock protection, convenient, reliable, portable and environmentally sound. The wireless-driven LED lighting source will gain increasing attention in the civilian consumer electronics market, military area and special lighting areas. To achieve wireless electric power transfer in LED lighting system, the wireless-driven LED lighting system should contain LED lighting module, wireless electrical power transfer system, LED driving circuit and electrical energy storage system. The LED lighting module was driven by the electrical power, which was transferred from a contact free system. Either inductive coupling or magnetic resonance coupling is responsible for transferred the electrical power. Wireless-driven LED lighting system has a good market prospects, this new technology will make these innovative LED lighting products more available, convenient and reliable. In this paper, we mainly research in wireless electrical energy transmission tech, LED integrated package tech, LED driver circuit tech. Our design is applied to the lens of 30mm focal length, which is generally the focal length of a mobile device. The flashlight module was constructed by optical simulation tool ASAP. We analyzed interrelation between the TIR surfaces and multiple optical qualities, such as the angle of light emitting and the uniformity of illuminance. The TIR surfaces were designed to maximize the uniformity and optical efficiency in the target viewing angle. After designing corresponding microstructures on the TIR surfaces, we can get a flashlight module of modified Fresnel lens with high optical qualities. Compared with the original LED source, the central illuminance improves to 1.5 times and the uniformity of target area improves to 1.3 times. This flashlight module can be used in products that require high quality photograph, such as cellphone, and tablet computer. However, as the lead-frame package consists silver plated copper and white plastic housing, both for increased light reflection; it can gradually become yellowing or darkening when reacting with certain organic gases or chemical compounds when accelerated by high temperature and light radiation. As a result, light decay or lumen reduction can occur in LED lightings. This paper presents an overview on light decay failure modes of commonly used lead-frame LED package. The main light pollution's references limited parameters, including light intrusion, glaring light, the brightness of LED display and night-glow of the sky are proposed. The LED packaging component level technical solution of the display light pollution has been proposed. Within the valid visible range, the light energy is concentrated there, helping to reduce the display power consumption. Within the invalid visible range, try to reduce the light energy distribution and light pollution. Conventional current sharing methods usually need a amount of the signal lines for each LED string which makes it difficult to design the PCB and modularize the LED driver. This paper puts forward a novel current sharing method and its working principle is analyzed in this paper which doesn't need any signal line from each LED string. Through this digital control method, the output voltage can be adjusted to tightly follow the largest one among all the voltages across each LED string. However, ITO film is limited by the high cost and poison, it's necessary to be instead. The transparent conductive oxide basic on Zinc oxide is one of the best choices. In this paper, a muti-structure, ITO/GZO films were carried out for an instead of ITO films. It was found ITO (5nm)/GZO films could improve the luminous intensity of LED chips with an ideal turn-on voltage. In this paper we summarized the development process of LED package in China, analyzed the chip structure of the traditional dress package LED, the wired flip chip package LED and the wireless flip chip package LED, and their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, we argued that the wireless flip chip package of LED will be the mainstream technology of LED package in the future. At the same time, it is difficult to obtain the accurate response of the control request with only one kind of device, the control result cannot satisfy the user requirements. Based on Cloud of Things, a smart city operating system i-stack is proposed. And then based on this smart city operating system and multiple sensors collaboration technology, a new smart city operating system architecture for smart lighting control system is proposed. The ultimate intention is to link up many kinds of sensors in the lighting system via a wireless sensor network (ZigBee for example). Users can configure and use these sensors in an Event-Condition-Action mode from the remote management platform.
