Abstract

In this paper, light pollution of LED outdoor display is discussed. The main light pollution's references limited parameters, including light intrusion, glaring light, the brightness of LED display and night-glow of the sky are proposed. The LED packaging component level technical solution of the display light pollution has been proposed. Within the valid visible range, the light energy is concentrated there, helping to reduce the display power consumption. Within the invalid visible range, try to reduce the light energy distribution and light pollution. By comparing the data of the reduction of light pollution, LED package level technical solutions can reduce the light pollution in the invalid visible range of 10% to 50%.
