The jackets incorporated chemically activated fly ash with glass fiber to enhance the load carrying capacity, cracking load and ductility at normal temperature and after exposed to elevated temperature. Three-dimensional nonlinear finite element (FE) model has been developed using finite element package, ANSYS 14.0. Eleven RC beams strengthened using plain or RC jackets containing activated fly ash and glass fibers and loaded with four-point loading arrangement were analyzed. The parameters of the study comprised damage level induced before jacketing, effect of exposure to elevated temperature and effect of jacket reinforcement. The finite element results obtained in this investigation; ultimate flexural capacity, mid-span deflection, crack progression, failure mode and stresses in concrete, showed good agreement when compared with the available experimental data results. Based on the most optimistic (a), most pessimistic (b), most likely (m), and predicted durations (t) of the Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) and using the Line of Balance (LOB) method. Six potential scenarios for activities’ duration uncertainty were provided in an attempt to model various situations of uncertainty that a repetitive project may face. The number of crews was calculated based on the deadline of the project and the rate of work in each scenario. A case study project of ten repetitive units with six activities each was studied for all the six scenarios. In each scenario, the LOB charts were created and the delivery durations of all units and the total project duration were calculated. The results of all the scenarios were compared, showing that the most optimistic scenario has the fastest delivery duration for the total project, while the deterioration and most likely scenarios have the slowest delivery durations for the total project. Based on the six proposed scenarios, the mean (µ) and the standard deviation (σ) were calculated. The specimens were designed and detailed according to the Egyptian code provisions. The specimens were one-quarter of the full scale and designed with and without seismic detailing to verify the effect of reinforcement detailing and flanges on the assemblage structural behavior. Each specimen represented a two-consecutive beam spans subsequent to the elimination of the first story interior column. Since 1971, memristor device invented by Leo Chua which included in the fundamental electrical elements besides resistors, capacitors and inductors. Memristor consider as the missing elements that correlate between the flux and the charges of the electrons. Memristor was not realized as a physical component until recently. HP and Knowm are the available physical memristor device in the market with different structure. However, HP memristor is considered to be the most structure have been studied from the researchers. Now a days considered is the core element in AI accelerators which depends on memory processor structure. This paper will discuss the history of memristor and its structure based on HP and Knowm approach with mathematical models.
