Some of the required security criteria can be measured with the help of the Autocorrelation function as a tool, while other criteria can be measured using the Walsh transform as a tool. The connection between the Walsh transform and the Autocorrelation function is given by the well known Wiener-Khintchine theorem. In this paper, we present an analysis of the Autocorrelation function from the Haar spectral domain. We start by presenting a brief review on Boolean functions and the Autocorrelation function. Then we exploit the analogy between the Haar and Walsh in deriving the Haar general representation of the Autocorrelation function. The derivations are carried out in two ways namely, in terms of individual spectral coefficients, and based on zones within the spectrum. The main contribution of the paper is the establishment of the link between the Haar transform and the Wiener-Khintchine theorem. This is done by deducing the connection between the Haar transform, the Autocorrelation, and the Walsh power spectrum for an arbitrary Boolean function. In the process we show that, the same characteristics of the Wiener-Khintchine theorem holds locally within the Haar spectral zones, instead of globally as with the Walsh domain. The Haar general representations of Autocorrelation function are given for arbitrary Boolean functions in general and Bent Boolean functions in particular. Rain attenuation is the most significant parameter which degrades the performance of the links. Hence, it is essential for satellite link designer to take into account rain fade prediction accurately before system implementation. Rain rate is the main parameter to predict of rain attenuation. Rainfall statistical data measured and recorded in Libya with 3-hours integration time for the period of 30 years are collected. The prediction methods require one minute integration time rain intensity. Hence, collected data were analyzed and processed to convert into one -- minute rain rate cumulative distribution in Libya. Several prediction models have been utilized for conversion with consideration of the climatic condition of the study case area. One prediction model was recommended to predict one-minute rain rate distribution for microwave link design in Libyan environment. The converted rain rate data are used to predict the variation in rain fades characteristics at C, Ku, Ka and, V-bands in different parts of the country using The International Telecommunication Union Radio wave Propagation models (ITU-RP). The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the potentiality of Bit Flipping (BF) algorithms. It is shown that the Gradient Descent Bit Flipping (GDBF) algorithm with a little improvement is suitable for high speed applications. With a simple high-speed two-bit Analog to Digital Convertor (ADC) we show that we can obtain a BER of as low as 10-9 for an input BER of 10-4. Furthermore, the proposed decoder achieves a BER of at least 10-7 after just one iteration. It is necessary for real time applications to reduce the decoding delay. We propose a simple FPGA implementation that gives 500 Mb/s. Hierarchical network topology yields better performance with low cost by exploring the locality in the communication and traffic patterns. A Midimew connected Mesh Network (MMN) is a hierarchical interconnection network comprised of numerous basic modules, where the basic module and higher level network of hierarchy is a 2D-mesh and a midimew networks, respectively. In this paper, we present the architecture of MMN and evaluate the packing density and message traffic density of MMN, TESH, mesh, and torus networks. It is revealed that the proposed MMN yields high packing density and low message traffic density which will results efficient VLSI realization and high communication performance of the MMN. It offers unlicensed, higher speed, broader, unlimited bandwidth and excellent security. However, the quality of FSO links is greatly affected by weather conditions and link distance. In the tropical regions, the quality of the FSO links is affected mainly by rain attenuation while the air quality is presumed to have little or no impact. However, a state of emergency has consecutively been declared in some part of Malaysia during the past three years due to high air pollution index (API). Since the range of FSO link is limited by air pollution, haze attenuation must be considered as one of the important factors in FSO link design. The aim of this paper is to provide an analysis and simulation of the FSO link with real data from Meteorological Malaysia department (MMD) on haze weather under two different wavelengths 850nm and 1550nm. This paper will discuss the different rate of attenuation operating in the medium between transmitter and receiver and their impact on the link margin calculation. This method that often combines with lookup tables (LUTs) manages to produce efficient LNS design in area, latency and accuracy. Current research proves that the combination of interpolators with co-transformation in LNS subtraction had shown extreme improvements in terms of speed and area, which is comparable to floating point (FLP) performance. Taking the advantage, this research had been conducted to analyze the implementation of these three interpolators, which are Taylor, Lagrange and modified Lagrange, in a 32-bit environment of the LNS addition and subtraction procedures with the first-order co-transformation in positive region. The designs were analyzed in two categories, which are the accuracy towards FLP and the total memory consumption. The best interpolator was selected based on the most optimum area consumption design with manageable accuracy in FLP limit. The results show how similarly generated PWM used by different topologies can result into a stepped-waveform output capable of producing and AC closer to single fundamental component of 50Hz. Photonic micro-ring resonator is a very important device for implementing photonic computation and communication circuitry. The resonance property of the ring-resonator is the key factor to use it in silicon photonic technology. To design a photonic circuit and system using ring resonator, we must have clear knowledge on the resonance behavior of the ring resonator. We investigated the ring resonator characteristics for the ring size between 1 um to 20 um and the waveguide material group index between 2 to 4. It is seen that the ring size and index have significant impact on the quality of the device. Cancer incidence rate is growing at an alarming rate in Malaysia and the world as we know it. It is estimated that statistically one out of every four Malaysians will develop cancer by the age of 75. Conventional methods of diagnosing cancer rely solely on skilled physicians, with the help of medical imaging, to detect certain symptoms which usually appear in the late stage of cancer. Furthermore, biopsy examinations are highly invasive since tissue samples are required to be extracted from patients. There exist minimally invasive cancer biomarkers in forms of proteins from serum. Nevertheless, existing protein-based diagnosis techniques require labor-intensive analysis compounded by low diagnosis sensitivity. There have indeed been a number of studies to identify novel miRNA-based cancer biomarkers. However, the existing diagnosis techniques using miRNA suffer from low diagnosis accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. The low diagnosis accuracy and sensitivity of the existing techniques stems from the fact that there is extremely low miRNA count in body fluids. There is also an inevitable problem of cross contamination between cells and exosomes in sample preparation steps. This paper proposes to circumvent these problems in data analysis stage with a machine learning technique called Random Forest. The proposed system achieved 93.48 % accuracy for gastric cancer and 100 % accuracy for ovarian cancer. The results are promising and encouraging. There are two objectives in this design: one is the analysis of when the LED placed at difference layer from the radiating patch, another one analysis is by looking at the electrical connection of 18 LEDs in series, parallel and a combination of series and parallel. The antenna was simulated design and optimized at 2.45 GHz using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) with permittivity, εr = 4.5 and thickness, h = 1.6mm on FR4 substrate. The LED placed on the top substrate as the parasitic element. The radiating patch is placed at the second layer of substrate and aperture coupled feeding network was used in this design. The antennas are reasonable well matched at their corresponding frequency of operations.
