In this paper, a triple band Inverted-H planar antenna for DCS1700, WiMAX2600 and WLAN3100 is presented. The proposed antenna was designed using commercially available CST software. Then, the designed antenna was fabricated on a FR4 substrate and tested using network and spectrum analyzers. The measured S11 results are -15.14 dB, -15.88 dB and -25.77 dB for the three operating frequency bands of 1.764 GHz, 2.739 GHz and 3.17 GHz respectively. Different characters and languages have different structures and features. Lampung character and language are different with any other languages. We have developed Lampung handwritten character recognition using back-propagation neural networks. However since some Lampung characters have similar features, hierarchical network system was performed to optimize the training and recognition algorithm. CQI is very crucial in evolved Node B (eNodeB) to decide the corresponding modulation and coding scheme in LTE and LTE-A. User Equipment (UE) will measure and estimate the CQI in order to maximize the throughput performance. Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) is used in order to adapt with the channel variation environments but the wireless channel itself is subject to various impairments including imperfect CQI report which may lead to degradation of the Quality of Service (QoS). The performance of two CQI reporting algorithms which are Automated CQI Reporting Algorithm and Average CQI Reporting Algorithm are being analyzed in this paper. Recently, sequential OLAP has emerged as one of sequential data subfields whereby traditional OLAP - which mainly utilizes a set data-based analysis, do not satisfy the hunger of performing pattern-based operations and time-based analysis. Such analyses can provide an insightful perspective and reveal hidden correlations among events patterns through time. Therefore, extended query languages, new OLAP cube models and optimized algorithms and infrastructures have been introduced. However, the ever grown data size has always been deemed a major hurdle in the way of fully taking advantage of this data. In this context, and based on our proposed optimized heterogeneous Rabin-Karp algorithm earlier, we suggest a high performance sequential pattern detection approach that works in harmony Sequential OLAP processing requirements. The optimized algorithm is dedicated to detect patterns over parallel data streams in Real-Time. Due to that, quality of data transmission is impossible in wireless sensor network (WSN) or heterogeneous wireless sensor network (HTWSN). Multipath routing is having many features over single path routing, but it is highly prone to multipath interference. The existing multipath routing schemes can results poor network performance and low reliable data transmission due to the existence of multipath interference. So we propose interference minimization clustering multipath routing protocol (IMCMRP) for multipath interference minimization with energy efficiency and reliable data transmission. A very low cost, high efficient system has been proposed to help visually impaired Malaysians identify her bank notes. This system is built around the unique color of her bank note. The system features a sound module, color sensor module and a microcontroller module. These three module offer the system a unique ability to identify Malaysian bank currency and produce audible sound of the currencies' denomination. The efficiency of the proposed solution has been properly tested on a dataset composed of consecutive randomized banknotes including both positive images (Malaysian banknotes) and negative images (Non Malaysian banknotes and plain color notes) collected under a variety of conditions. From the characteristics of plasma parameters obtained, the antenna parameters are then investigated. The Ar-Hg discharge tube is used, and energized by using a high voltage power supply. The plasma parameters are obtained by using numerical programming namely Glomac based on the different voltage, current, pressure and size diameter of the discharge tube. Plasma antenna parameters are characterized by using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) software with different plasma frequency, gas pressure, tube size and material used to analyze the antenna performance. The plasma and collision frequencies are calculated based on the plasma parameter obtained from Glomac programming. It shows that the electron temperature decrease while electron density increase when the current is increased. The gas pressure and diameter of tubes are also influences the plasma parameters. From CST simulation, the antenna's performance can be analyzed in terms of return loss, resonant frequency, bandwidth, gain, and radiation pattern. The plasma frequency increase when the electron density increases. By changing the plasma frequency, gas pressure and tube diameter, the antenna performance can be improved in particular at their return loss, gain, directivity and conductivity. In addition, the efficiency of the plasma column as a radiating element is related to the conductivity of the plasma. Backhaul link is one of the links in the relay networks that is responsible for data communication between base station and relay stations. To ensure efficient communication in the backhaul link, good radio propagation environment, such as path loss, is required. This paper evaluates the performance of a number of well-known path loss models (original and modified versions) in order to identify the most suitable model for usage in backhaul link of LTE-A relay station. Thus, the purpose of this research is to design and develop a device prototype that detects alarming changes of a person's heart rate and sends a warning immediately via Short Message Service (SMS) to receivers such as doctors, family members, a person in charge, or monitoring system application. The objective is achieved by developing a program for Arduino microcontroller that enables a pulse sensor module to detect alarming changes of a user's heart rate through photoplethysmography technique and utilizes a GSM Shield module to act as an SMS interface between the device prototype and receivers. The relevancy of Mobile Heart Rate Detection System (MoHeRDS) device is investigated through a survey that has resulted in positive responses from 70 respondents mainly from the health sector where 100% of them agree that MoHeRDS is relevant and some deem it very relevant to be one of the helping factors for early warning of Potentially-Fatal Heart Diseases (such as heart attacks, heart failures, etc.). Furthermore, MoHeRDS is palm-sized, portable and has a reasonable low cost.
