The reason behind that lies in its capability of producing clean, cheap and reliable energy. Nevertheless, introducing relatively large-scale Nuclear Power Plant units, which considered to be more economic, into a limited power system grid could be the main obstacle for many developing countries with limited grid capacity. Therefore, possible solution for this problem is to operate the nuclear power plant units in a load following mode or integrate a system of Pumped-Storage Hydropower PSH into the limited grid. This paper suggests to test three scenarios in order to get the large possible size NPP units that can be safely and economically added to a particular limited capacity grid. For the first and the second scenarios, the nuclear units will be operated as a base load and load following mode respectively with integration of the pumped-storage hydropower. Regarding the third scenario, the nuclear power plant units will be only operated as a load following mode without the integration of pumped-storage hydropower system. For each scenario, a unit commitment model will be formulated and solved. Sudanese grid will be taken as a case study to examine whether it is possible to safely and economically introduce large nuclear power units (2units / 600MW) as well as to find out the most economical operational scheme for Sudanese grid after introducing the nuclear power plant. For Sudanese grid, the results have shown that operating nuclear power plant units (2units /600MW) in a baseload mode with integration of pumped-storage hydro power units is the best economic scenario.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"283 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123061835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The BS-SMC is built to regulate the DFIG system in a dq-reference stage rotor-branch current during many operation scenarios to meet the dynamic factors. The simulated BS-SMC test results for a 1. 5MW DFIG-WT are robust to gave a superior dynamic action i.e lowest than 10% overshoot of rotor-branch current and stator-branch power and other dynamic characteristics than common controllers. Furthermore, BAT algorithm enhanced the global searching and the convergence less 10e–4 in tolerance region during iterations.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"28 25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117064189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this paper presents a different adaptive DOA algorithms where the performance of communication networks can be enhanced, in the meantime the minimizing interferences. Meanwhile, The DOA algorithm such as multi signal classification (MUSIC), minimum norm (Min-Norm), minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) and Bartlett algorithms are studied and compared extensively regarding the estimation angles and peak power spectrum. In this regard, uniform linear array (ULA) antenna is employed to construct the weight vector for incoming sensor signals. Furthermore, this paper compares the DOA algorithms concerning the number of antenna elements as well as the incoming signal angles. The simulation results approve that the algorithms are likely have the same performance in accuracy of scanning angles. However, it is realized that all algorithms have different peak power values in order to beamwidth. Moreover, the results indicate that the DOA algorithms with the different number of antenna elements have a significant impact on a directivity and gain. Hereafter, this work can be extended to higher frequency of mmWave communication with massive number of antenna, which can meet the requirement of fifth generation (5G) network.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120854686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Taking advantage of LEDs illumination to transmit information through visible light allow for the up-rise of Visible Light Communication (VLC) as a common approach to wireless indoor navigation. Traditional indoor positioning algorithms are usually built on radio signals but they can be a subject of interference due to their capability of permeating walls. In contrast, having VLC enforced in indoor positioning allow for the advantage of absent electromagnetic interference and greater accuracy. In the following paper, received signal strength and angle of arrival techniques are joined to form a hybrid algorithm to locate the remote receiver position. Unique frequency address (F-ID) is used to modulate the LED transmitters so that inter-cell interference is overcome. To gauge the position of the receiver, Weighted Least Squares (WLS) methods are acquired. The paper verifies that using RSS and AOA methods is sufficient and more accurate in comparison to only range-based methods by resulting in a 0.50 cm mean location error.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125516803","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The economy of Sudan is highly dependent on agriculture. The international demand for Sudanese sesame seeds was remarkably stable throughout 2018. However, the agriculture sector’s contribution to GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth rate has decreased from 4% in 2018 to 1.2% in 2019. One of the main contributors to the decrease in the contribution of the GDP was diseases. The early detection of diseases is vital in agriculture for efficient crop yield. One of the leading technologies used worldwide for disease detection is machine learning and Specifically Convolutional Neural Networks, which classify images of diseased plants/leaves from healthy plants/leaves. This research compares a developed CNN model and five other ready-made models; VGG16, VGG19, Resnet50, Resnet101, and Resnet152. The dataset contains 1,695 images of sesame leaves grouped into three classes, two of which are of diseases currently affecting the Sesame in Sudan, and the third is of the healthy leaves. The leaves are photographed from different fields in Gadarif State. The developed model achieved the best result with a training accuracy of 90.77% and testing accuracy of 88.5%. Future work and possible improvements to this model were also discussed.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122915220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concept of using these approaches in software projects is to help projects succeed. The effect of TDD and BDD on Project success factors namely, cost, time, and customer satisfaction/external quality, remains an area of investigation. Therefore, this study investigates the results of previously published articles on the effect of TDD and BDD on project success factors. A systematic literature review has been conducted considering articles published between 1999 up to 2020. Thirty-one studies were selected and analyzed. 74.1% of studies are experiments, 25.8% are case studies. 67.7% of these studies were performed in an industrial setting, 29.0% were performed in an academic setting and only one study with 3.22% was mixed academic and industrial settings. The result shows that the TDD and the BDD consume more time and cost compared to traditional testing (TLD). Moreover, the TDD as TLD may not necessarily satisfy the customer unlike the BDD appears that achieve customer satisfaction. Although, when TDD compared to BDD, TDD consumed more time and lower customer acceptance than the BDD.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130562751","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The (SCIM) can be a variable speed motor by applying the indirect field-oriented control (IFOC) technique on it, because the IFOC technique can decouple the flux and motor torque control variables. In this paper, the flux control variable has been fixed. And has applied the FUZZY-PID speed controller to the torque control variable with a close loop control circuit. Has applied the IFOC model with FUZZY-PID controller of the induction motor using MATLAB/SIMULINK. Has achieved good speed control, good dynamic performance, less rise time, less overshoot fast acceleration time. It was found in the presented study the PID limiter has a strong effect on the dynamic performance of the control system, moreover, the result of reducing limiter setting value less than starting torque value is increasing in rising time as well as starting and settling time. In all, the FUZZY-PID controller with IFOC model will achieve speed control with good dynamic performance when limiting the PID with the nominal starting torque value.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126820200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All the papers came out focused on controlling the traffic lights cycle taking the street plans as a given. Controlling a traffic light cycle for a street plan that does not solve the population demand distribution will not end traffic congestion completely. Because of the inability to build new streets and a continuously changing population demand, the only thing to change is the streets plan. So This study proposes the idea of controlling the directions of these streets (one-way, two-ways) to match the new transportation demands of the ever-changing population in an area a task that is easy to do by using deep reinforcement learning.Deep Reinforcement learning combines both the generalization of reinforcement learning to any new scenario and the ability to handle large input spaces and convergences to minima to deep learning, since the action space in the study is discrete space –streets directions – we chose to use Deep Q-Networks – DQN – several experiments are performed on 4 different SUMO – Simulation of Urban Mobility – simulation networks.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123619634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
