Parallel to this expansion, the high dropout rate of undergraduates has been a cause of concern for education administrators and researchers. The reference model for an integrated alert system is an approach to predict student dropout over the graduation period. The model has in its structure two sets of main and comprehensive elements that are theorized to be causal and sequential. (1) element focuses primarily on the predictive factors predating and postadmission of undergraduate students and (2) element focuses on the instabilities of predictor factors, in the processes of re-evaluations 1: detachment and re-evaluations 2: withdrawal, in the intentions of leaving and on student's avoidance / permanence.","PeriodicalId":359590,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems","volume":"283 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131667308","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results guarantee that the classifier reaches up to 94 % of performance in the absence of noise and only using 10 attributes. The attributes proposed in this article are easy to obtain and in the time domain. Finally, brief comparison of popular classifiers in WEKA is also performed to confirm the KNN classifier's advantage in the presence of noise.","PeriodicalId":359590,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127943162","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to inspect the usability of this type of system, it can be used the Nielsen's Heuristics. However, these are for general use and do not consider the peculiarities of this class of systems. In this context, since no related proposals were found, the customization of the Nielsen's Heuristics for the domain of AACS is presented in this article. That is, a guideline of 69 (sixty-nine) good practice of usability for AACS has been produced. This guideline can be used by professionals (researchers and practitioners) who need to inspect existing AACS, or to design new AACS. The proposed guideline were produced and evaluated by 05 (five) AAC professionals, who were guided by 01 (one) usability professional. The results obtained reinforce the hypothesis that, although the Nielsen's heuristics consider important criteria of usability, they do not address specific problems of the AACS, which can compromise the usability inspection of this class of systems.","PeriodicalId":359590,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132584783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To obtain the results, a methodology defined consisting of three phases: Identification of information of the entities, characterization of the publications and analysis of the results. Among the main results are that most of the published data are visualized in datasets and graphs, and focus on education and mobility issues. These results will serve to improve the open data programs of the municipalities studied, as well as for future research related to analysis in other territories of the country or as a starting point to define measurements of results and impacts of the use of open data.","PeriodicalId":359590,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123449650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this subject, data quality requires attention for acquisition and proper handling in order to provide accurate results in analytical processes. Nevertheless, data from sensors are sensitive to intercurrences that can compromise decisions guided by indicators constructed in this process. The objective of this work is to implement an architecture capable of producing a layer of data quality associated with the data collected from sensors, in real time. The proposed architecture evaluates the dimensions of accuracy, reliability, completeness, data volume and punctuality. The implemented artifacts were adapted for testing with indoor temperature and humidity measurement sensors. The collected data received quality indicators calculated in the sensor controller, packaged by time windows and transmitted directly to the server. Preliminary results showed efficiency in the acquisition and generation of quality indicators. The final product can be used to other contexts that use data acquisition through sensors.","PeriodicalId":359590,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems","volume":"226 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123709475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are caused by pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi and they can be transmitted, directly or indirectly, from one person to another or from animals to humans (Zoonoses). Nowadays it is very important to detect the infectious diseases as soon as possible to prevent critical problems for the society. In this work we propose an approach for the sentiment classification of tweets related to infectious diseases. This kind of systems could help health professionals to know how society respond to advances in the treatment of these diseases. In addition, a comparison was made of the performance of three classification algorithms (J48, BayesNet, and SMO). The results showed that SMO provides better results than BayesNet and J48 algorithms, obtaining an F-measure of 84.4%.","PeriodicalId":359590,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126538849","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
