Seeing these problems, there needs to be some breakthroughs, one of which can be done through character inculcation that is applied in schools through classroom learning and other activities such as extracurricular activities. This research method is qualitative with the type of descriptive research, namely the type of research that examines data that can describe complex and concrete social realities. This study uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, library methods and the use of documentation. The analysis in this study uses interactive data analysis from Lexy Moleong with the pre-field stage, the implementation stage, the data analysis stage, the conclusion stage and the reporting stage. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of extracurricular Islamic Religious Education in MTs EX PGA UNIVA Medan there were 13 extracurricular Islamic Religious Education. (2) extracurricular activities in MTs EX PGA UNIVA Medan are essentially many activities. However, in this discussion, only PAI extracurricular activities were taken which presumably had a stake in the formation of student character, for example the types of PAI extracurricular activities namely introduction of the holy book, worship, social activities, habituation of noble character and the inculcation of religious historical values. Through this activity students can learn to develop communication skills, collaborate with others, discipline and other characters.","PeriodicalId":358928,"journal":{"name":"Budapest International Research and Critics in Linguistics and Education (BirLE) Journal","volume":"38 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114114067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accreditation has a meaning as a comprehensive assessment process of the appropriateness and performance of an institution or an educational program as a form of public accountability, a self regulation tool in which schools recognize strengths and weaknesses and continuously improve strengths and improve their weaknesses. This understanding will give more meaning in the results as an acknowledgment, a school has met the specified eligibility standards. Padangsidimpuan City as one of the cities in Indonesia is not immune from the policy to carry out accreditation in each of its educational institutions or units. Some education units have carried out accreditation in the District of South Padangsidimpuan. In carrying out accreditation, the institution certainly cannot be separated from the constraints that must arise, both internal and external constraints. Government efforts to develop human resources through PAUD and PAUD education units have encouraged education units to meet eight (8) National Education Standards (SNP). In the framework of meeting these standards, the central government and regional governments prepare education units to be ready to be accredited on an ongoing and ongoing basis in the hope that the accreditation process can improve the quality of education units. Especially in the city of Padangsidimpuan, South Padangsidimpuan Subdistrict. Based on the results of the interviews. Obtained data from the Padangsidimpuan City Education Office for South Padangsidmpuan Subdistrict, with a total of 17 units, more than 50% have been accredited, 9 are accredited institutions and 8 institutions have B grades and 1 institution with a value of C. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Then contextual data is analyzed through procedures namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes from before the action, cycle I, to cycle II. Before the action the number of students who reached the KKM was 56.25% or 18 people. In the first cycle there was an increase to 71.88% or 23 people. Then in the second cycle there was an increase to 87.50% or 28 students. This study covers some points for translating Persian metaphors into English through Newmark strategies (1988). As regards the most frequent strategy among the seven strategies proposed by Peter Newmark for translating metaphors, it was clarified that metaphors are rarely used in Iranian medical journals and cultural factors don't play an important role in translating. As a result, the researchers have come to the conclusion that titles as a text type may help improve medical academic literacy. This study is part of a growing body of research in the field. In using a largely untapped source of medical translation, this project will contribute to future research on similar topics. Also, the result of this study can be useful for medical and para-medical professionals, students, nurses and doctors in completing and updating their medical education and knowledge because they are the choicest readers of medical articles.","PeriodicalId":358928,"journal":{"name":"Budapest International Research and Critics in Linguistics and Education (BirLE) Journal","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128247909","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method used in this study is quantitative with quasi-experimental methods, with the design of this study using a non-randomize control group pretest and posttest design, with data analysis using ANOVA. The process of data retrieval is done by testing the leg muscle strength using a strength test tool that is a leg dynamometer and leg muscle power test with a jump md, during the pretest and posttest, then the data are analyzed using SPSS 22.0 series. The target of this study was martial arts athlete Kostrad Company-C with 30 members, divided into 3 groups with each group totaling 10 people, this research was conducted for 6 weeks. Paired sample strength test results and paired sample test of leg muscle power test that the significance level of each variable obtained sig 0,000 <0.05 thus there is a significant influence or difference between the pretest and posttest of the dependent variables of leg muscle strength and power, ANOVA test results on leg muscle strength and strength, showing strength, F: 12,191, sig 0,000, Power F: 4,778, sig 0.17, so it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the results of leg muscle strength and strength in three different groups, because sig <0.05. From the results of the post hoc multiple comparations (LSD) test of independent variables that have a significant influence on the increase in the dependent variable, it can be seen from the mean different results that the hurdle hops group gained 31,900 strength, power 155,367,00, meaning that the hurdle hops exercise was more influential. Based on the above analysis it can be concluded that there is an increase in leg muscle strength and power for each group, through the ANOVA test.
