This research was a mixed method using sequential exploratory design. The data collection phase was divided into two. The qualitative data collection phase includes the stages of designing a science process skills test (arranging the test objectives, determining the type of process skills to be assessed, making a question grid, writing questions, face validity, and revising the questions). Quantitative data collection includes empirical test questions in schools, analyzing item analysis, revising questions, and assembling questions into tests. The subjects of this study were evaluation experts, material experts and students of SMAN 5 Jambi City as many as 100 people. The collection instrument was in the form of a review sheet/validation test. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively, and quantitative data were analyzed using the ANATES Program. The results of this research are multiple choice science process skills tests. The aspects of science process skills that are measured are observing, identifying variables, predicting, hypothesizing, relationships between variables, communicating, designing investigations, and concluding. Of the 25 items developed, 18 valid questions were obtained. Discrimination indeks on the questions that have been developed is enough 20%, good 16%, and very good 64%. The level of difficulty is easy 8%, medium 80% and difficult 12%. This study used a quasi-experimental research method with a pretest-posttest control group design. This study uses Mann Whitney U-Test data analysis techniques so that the data can be said to have a significant difference to the critical thinking skills of the experimental class using blended learning and the control class using direct (conventional) learning. This research is a classroom action research which consisted of two cycles, with pre-cycle data taken from the students data on the previous basic competencies. The data analysis using descriptive comparative techniques by comparing data cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that there was an increasing in students' social attitudes and the number of students who achieved minimal completeness was 29.2%. The student’s average learning outcomes increased from 58.98 in the first cycle and 70.20 in the second cycle. This research was conducted in the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2018/2019 in the Study Program DIII Refraction Optician (RO) STIKES HAKLI Semarang with the number of participants of 50 students. The research development (R & D) in this study aims to produce Optical Physics textbooks using the Soft skills. The stages of this research include define, design, develop and disseminate. The research design used in the trial application of this textbook was a quasi-experimental design with the form of pretest-posttest control group-design. The results of the study show that the development of Optical Physics textbook based on Soft-skills has gone through a validation process and has been stated to fulfill the content validity set by the expert, so the developed textbook is declared valid. Increasing student activity with an average score of 3.4 shows very active criteria that have a positive effect on the value of student learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of students’ questionnaire sheets showed that the learning process was fun and easy to understand the material taught with data 87,3% of students were happy and stated practical. This research is a quasi-experimental method with times series design. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by measuring question instruments, observations, and open interviews. The pretest and posttest implementation in this study was conducted four times. There are five aspects of generic science skills measured in this study, namely aspects of concept building, mathematical modeling, symbolic language, direct observation, and indirect observation. The results of the study obtained N-Gain values for each different aspect. N-Gain conceptual aspects of 0.776 (height), mathematical modeling aspects of 0.625 (medium), symbolic language assumptions of 0.607 (moderate), direct observation aspects of 0.725 (high), and indirect observation aspects of 0.604 (medium). To test the hypothesis, non-parametric t-test is used because the data obtained is not normal. Based on the t test that has been done, it is obtained the data of sig 2 tailed value of 0,00 where 0,00 <0,05, meaning that there is a significant effect on the use of problem based instruction learning model with ethnoscience approach towards students' generic science skills in stoichiometric material. This model is also effective in improving students' genetic skills in stoichiometry material seen from the high number of effect sizes, namely on the aspect of building with effect size of 98%, mathematical modeling by 96%, symbolic language by 96%, direct observation by 98%, and indirect observation of 92%. The results of research showed that the development of Chemo-Entrepreneurship-oriented teacher’s guidebook on chemical bonding material consists of introductions, learning competencies, learning scenarios, and learning assessments. Pada siswa diberikan 5 soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan 2 soal argumentasi ilmiah dan diberi waktu 90 menit untuk menyelesaikannya. Rata–rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah 31,2 (41,6%) dengan penjabaran tiap indikator adalah sebagai berikut Useful Description 1,34 (26,8%), Spesific Application of Physics 2,3 (46%), dan Mathematical Procedures 2,6 (52%). This study involved 73 biology education students as samples taken from the 1st and 3rd study levels. The instruments used in the study were drafts of critical thinking disposition tests in biology and response questionnaires. This study uses the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) method. A draft critical thinking disposition test in biology was validated by six validators.
