This method considers the frequency-dependent conductor losses into the time-domain solution of the nonuniform multiconductor transmission lines. The results of this method are compared with the conventional time-domain to frequency-domain (TDFD) solution technique and a good agreement has been achieved.","PeriodicalId":356424,"journal":{"name":"2007 Asia-Pacific Conference on Applied Electromagnetics","volume":"357 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124511512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The difference in a few milli-volts may cause the system to fail. Therefore, it is very important to understand the characteristics of the SSN glitch of an active device for correct system-level performance. This paper quantifies the amount of SSN glitch launched from a FPGA into the near end of the printed circuit board (PCB) transmission line without being influenced by the response of the measurement system. It also analyzes practical measurement approaches with different probing methods and measurement methodologies to understand the characteristics of the SSN glitch. This paper is a guide to understand the SSN characteristics for system electronic system designers.","PeriodicalId":356424,"journal":{"name":"2007 Asia-Pacific Conference on Applied Electromagnetics","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125023671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The combination of the square rectangular split ring and the thin wire structure was used to obtain the negative value of permeability, mu and the negative permittivity, epsiv. It is shown that by using proposed testing strategies, it is possible to reduce defect escapee and easier for defect model migration to different processes. The scopes of work discussed in this paper are focused on characterisation, model development and the detectability of the FGD which usually requires careful and accurate knowledge of the process parameters, including parasitic components of the circuit. The detectability of FGD in scaled down technologies and process variation is examined as well. Simulation results proved that the new developed model is simple yet reliable in FGD detection.","PeriodicalId":356424,"journal":{"name":"2007 Asia-Pacific Conference on Applied Electromagnetics","volume":"2 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120924154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Objectpsila shadow in images may cause problem to several important algorithm in the fields of image processing such as object recognition, segmentation and object tracking. Removing the shadows can greatly improve the result of the image processing. To tackle this problem then, this algorithm is divided into three parts; eliminating the surrounding objects of object focused, detecting shadows region and removing the objectpsilas shadow. This algorithm used moving object images to distinguish between object focusing and objects will be eliminated in an image. Support vector machine (SVM) was used to detect the shadow region which classify the image into shadow and non-shadow region. The suppression of the first harmonic spurious response is possible through transmission zero frequency realignment method. A single groove of specific dimensions located at the center of the parallel coupled line has been employed for the realignment of the transmission zero and first harmonic frequencies. An implemented single-stage bandpass filter with various coupling gaps showed harmonics suppressions with optimized groove. Then, two-stage bandpass filters of different operating bandwidth were designed for optimized groove. It was then implemented and tested. The measured results validate real harmonics suppression performance with controllable single groove parameters.","PeriodicalId":356424,"journal":{"name":"2007 Asia-Pacific Conference on Applied Electromagnetics","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121712006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
