This causes an increase workload of nurses in the intensive care room, resulting burnout that affects nurses, patients and health care providers. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between moral distress and the level of burnout in intensive care room nurses at the dr. Soebandi Hospital Jember. This study used a quantitative descriptive observational analytic with the approach cross sectional design selected 47 nurses as respondents used total sampling. Data collected by Measure of Moral Distress Scale - Healthcare Professionals (MMD-HP) and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The results revealed that most respondents experienced low moral distress (85.1%) and low burnout (61.7%). The bivariate analysis showed with spearman test that p-value was < 0.001 (α = 0.05; r = 0.531). There was a relationship between moral distress and the level of burnout in intensive care room nurses at the dr. Soebandi Hospital Jember with moderate and positive relationship strength. A healthy work environment plays an important role in the low level of moral distress and burnout, if there are staff skilled in communication, good collaboration between people or professions, effective decision making, proper staffing, recognition and leadership.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123161043","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Children with disabilities tend to have poor quality of life due to low ability fulfilled basic needs independently. Therefore, they need special treatment from their parents and that could be the reasons of burden for parents as primary caregiver. This research aims to find the general burden of parents in disabilities children who attended Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Negeri Cileunyi. This is a quantitative descriptive research with cross sectional approach. The population in this research were 158 parents (father/mother) of children with disability. The sample in this research was obtained 67 people by using convenience sampling technique. The research used Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) as research instrument. The data have been obtained and analyzed by univariate analysis. The results will be analyzed by using frequency distribution. The result showed that 46.3% means little or no burden, 37.3% means mild to moderate burden, 14,9% means moderate to severe burden and 1,5% means severe burden. The conclusions of this research show that almost half of respondents are in the category of little or no burden. However, there were still respondents who had a severe burden, this is due to parents and children characteristics, poor self-control and lack of social support. Nurses need to provide family center care such as counseling and providing health education to parents with disabilities children and optimize existing support groups.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125250018","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Biomolecular changes to see an increase in elderly cognitive function are characterized by an increase in the expression of plasma protein Brain Derived Nerve Factor (BDNF). Efforts to improve cognitive function can be done in Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I . In this study the aim was to analyze the influence of Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I three times a week for 6 weeks to Plasma Protein Expression of BDNF in Elderly. This study used a pre-experiment with the design of one group pre and post test for 27 samples of healthy elderly aged > 60 years and routinely conduct Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I 3 times a week for 6 weeks. To determine BDNF levels taken from elderly plasma blood then measured using the Enzime Link Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. To analyze the influence of Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I to plasma protein expression of BDNF, a paired t-test was used so that the mean differences between before and after gymnastics were known. There were differences in the mean BDNF plasma protein expression before and after Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I (2174,52 ± 700,79 VS 1981 ± 915,17 pg/ mL, p = 0,40 ; p > 0,05) with the mean difference was 192,69 which means Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I 3 times a week for 6 weeks had no influence to plasma protein expression of BDNF because the level has decreased by 91.14% after exercising","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132752322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

FAS is the most common congenital disabilities in the world. The effects of FAS are mental retardation, cranial abnormalities, and heart defects. Moringa oleifera is a highly valued plant. It has an impressive range of biological activities, including antioxidant, antiproliferation, and anti-inflammatory. This study aims to assess the effect of Moringa oleifera leaf extracts in inhibiting growth retardation of chicken embryo growth induced by alcohol. The study was a true experimental design with posttest controlled group design. There were five groups with 5 of chicken embryo each group. The treatments contained 15% alcohol and aquadest as positive control (P+), without alcohol as negative control (P-), P0.5 (0,5g/dl), P5 (5g/dl), P50 (50g/dl) by adding Moringa oleifera leaf extracts, respectively. Moringa oleifera leaf extracts showed the improvement of length and head diameter as a benchmark for chicken embryo development with P5 concentration showed the best results to overcome growth retardation in alcohol-induced chicken embryos. This finding implies against possibility Moringa oleifera leaf extracts can be alternative medicine to prevent growth retardation.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"129 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128598277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evaluation of the effectiveness of cupping therapy on blood pressure reduction is thought to be influenced by variations in cupping therapy techniques. The purpose of this study was to prove scientifically the effectiveness of the number of heads, duration and location of cupping therapy points with a decrease in the value of blood pressure in patients at the Klaten Migoenani Health Nursing Clinic. This research method uses the Quasy experimental one group pre post test method. Data from the analysis of blood pressure measurements in patients undergoing cupping therapy were measured with digital tension and a statistical hypothesis test was performed. The sample technique uses quota sampling. The results showed that cupping therapy effectively reduced the average 20 mmHg of systolic and diastolic blood pressure by the number of locations of cupping points 1-3 locations, the number of heads of 18-24 and for 25-30 minutes of therapy through the process of nitrite dioxide stimulation which caused peripheral vasodilation . The conclusion of this study is that variations in blood pressure reduction in cupping therapy can be determined from the number of heads, duration and location of cupping points.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125143296","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So it is important to know the types of intra-dialysis physical exercises that are safe and effective for HD patients. The type of research analyzed in this journal writing is a randomized controlled trial (RCT) that focuses on inter-dialysis physical exercise interventions both at home and HD center. With a literature search using PubMed, ScienceDirect, Willey, Proquest and Google Scholar databases. And those who meet the relevant requirements and reviews are: 8. Based on several reviews of intradialytic exercise studies in HD patients, intra-dialysis low intensity strength training is found safe and effective in adults and older. Research shows that doing 30 minutes of intradialytic exercise per session 3 times a week for at least ≥8 weeks is beneficial for HD patients. Regular exercise should be considered as an important therapeutic modality in the care of patients undergoing HD. Strength training improves physical performance, nutritional status and physical activity. Stunting describes a lack of nutrition that has been going on for a long time and requires time for children to develop and recover. A number of studies show a link between Stunting with poor motor and mental development in early childhood, and poor cognitive achievement and school achievement in late childhood. In Sleman Regency in 2014 the Stunting number reached 12.87% (DIY 14.32%), wasting 4.02% (DIY 3.89%) and overweight 5.82% (DIY 5.84%). The highest Stunting rate appears in the Margins of 141 toddlers experiencing Stunting. Of all the toddlers in existence, and as a cause of malnutrition cases are the presence of comorbidities, congenital abnormalities from birth and because of wrong care. Parents of children with Stunting have focused on treatments to restore anthropometric growth but are less aware of the stimulation efforts that need to be done. The purpose of this study was to provide a design intervention in midwifery care in children with Stunting by providing education to parents about the stimulation of growth and development. The research method uses quasi-experimental pre-post test with control group design. Data analysis was carried out by Paired T-Test analysis. Respondents in this study were mothers with 1-3 year old stunting children in Sleman Regency. The sampling technique used in this study was using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study was 37 people.
