But on the other hand, this condition has a logical consequence that Indonesia is a country that has a high level of vulnerability to natural disasters. West Java itself is one of the areas prone to natural disasters. The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) stated that there were 8 provinces that were most frequently hit by disasters during the 2016 period, West Java ranked third after Central Java and East Java.Analyze the level of resilience of disaster management before and after being given the Simulation method and knowing the role of high school students in disaster management using the simulation method. The research method used a quantitative analysis design, with a Quasi Experimental research design with Pre and Post-Experimental measuring the resilience of students who received simulation exercises without a control group. Sampling used the Simple Random Sampling technique with the criteria of Grade 10 and Grade 11 students as many as 30 students at SMA Negeri I Parongpong, Lembang, West Badung Regency. The instrument used in the study used the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) questionnaire. The results of the study showed that there were differences in the perceptions of youth in disaster management and the role of senior high school students in resilience before and after the stimulation method was used. The simulation method is more effective in increasing resilience to disaster management.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126053443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By integrating palliative care in treating heart failure patients, patients experience calm and feel a safe atmosphere both physically and psychosocially, and with other problems, and make patients have the same understanding from a medical perspective. To summarize the results of studies related to palliative care in heart failure patients and to identify specific and effective practices in preventing readmission. Systematic search of the PubMed, Science Direct, and ProQuest databases searching for articles that included heart failure and palliative care. Palliative care is a critical component of health care for heart failure patients. In this article, the authors summarize the effectiveness of patient-focused palliative care and the palliative team in preventing readmissions and improving patients' quality of life when palliative care is applied in health care. Implementing palliative care in patients with heart failure is highly recommended for enhancing the patient's quality of life (QoL) and preventing or reducing patient readmission rates if appropriately implemented. Focusing on improving the abilities and skills of the palliative team is also something that needs to be considered. Also, knowledge, understanding, and involvement of the patient's family in patient care at home are significant.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115201618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development and evolution of the bacteria itself can cause an increase in cases. The active spread of TB is very easy through air that has been contaminated with the bacteria until it is inhaled by someone. The role of patients in preventing tuberculosis is necessary, along with their families and health care workers. Educational interventions that are part of independent nursing actions are one of the solutions to increase prevention and treatment success on a family and community scale. This study used primary data obtained through direct observation using a questionnaire consisting of patient demographic data, knowledge level, and level of infectious risk behavior. Sampling was done using non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling technique with inclusion criteria, namely the core family of patients diagnosed with TB, with good communication skills. Meanwhile, the exclusion criteria were patients who were not accompanied by their families for treatment, were not part of the core family of TB patients, MDR-TB patients. The number of samples in this study was 100 people. Data analysis in this study used the bivariate chi-square test. The study results on family members of TB patients were mostly male (52%) with a high level of knowledge (65%) and low-risk behavior (59%). The results of the statistical test with chi-square showed that a high level of knowledge had a number of cases of family members with a low risk of infectious behavior (Asimp.Sig 0.005 <0.05).  Most respondents had a high knowledge level and a low risk of infection. In essence, a good educational process is capable of independently training a person to change their behavior and attitude for the better.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132403762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Protein intake gets more attention because energy-protein malnutrition is more common in children under five. Protein nutrition for children must be fulfilled to prevent growth retardation in the next phase. This research aims to establish a profile of preschool children's animal and vegetable protein intake. This type of research is descriptive observational with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted at Bina Anasprasa Nuris Jember Kindergarden in March 2023. The sample in this study was preschool children aged 3-5 years, totaling 53 people who were taken by purposive sampling. Food consumption data for children was obtained using the 1x24-hour food recall method. Processing and analysis of data using univariate analysis. Preschool girls have more than boys (67.9% and 32.1%). The majority of mothers are not working/housewives (62.3%), while the majority of fathers are self-employed (45.3%). Most families have income above the 2023 Jember UMK (62.3%). Nutritional status with indicators of weight/age, height/age, weight/height of all preschool children has normal, normal, and good nutritional status (100%). Total protein intake increased slightly for boys and families whose income was above the minimum wage. Meanwhile, the intake of vegetable and animal protein sources in preschool children is similar but slightly higher in vegetable protein. Animal protein food ingredients still have high biological value because they contain all essential amino acids compared to vegetable protein. Therefore, preschoolers need to increase their consumption of animal protein food ingredients in their daily diet.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122885218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The growth and development of children is related to the condition of the family including their parents, their father and mother. One of the many health outcomes associated with maternal responsiveness is cognitive and psychosocial effects where maternal responsiveness greatly influences child development. This study to develop a community-based model for the prevention of child sexual abuse and violence with the maternal responsiveness method in realizing a healthy Jember Regency.  This study used an observational analytic research design with a cross-sectional study method. The population in this study were people in Rambipuji District with families who had children who were victims of sexual violence. The sample size was calculated based on the rule of the thumb formula in SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) resulting in 118 respondents. The sample was determined by using multistage random sampling technique with the sampling stage from sub-districts to clusters or RTs. Data analysis used univariate analysis and multivariate analysis used logistic regression test. Maternal factors in the good category had an effect on responsiveness by 26,750 times compared to the factors of the bad category. Based on the results of the study, the results showed that children's factors consisting of children's health status, children's gross motor system, children's fine motor systems, children's socialization in language had an effect on preventing children from sexual violence, namely children. mentally healthy and socially healthy. The majority of respondents are 26-45 years old, highly educated, work, and Javanese. The results of multivariate analysis using logistic regression, show that there is an influence between maternal factors responsiveness and there is an influence between child factors and the avoidance of children from sexual violence.","PeriodicalId":355525,"journal":{"name":"NurseLine Journal","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125503543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
