This traditional architecture is closely related to the philosophy or meaning either in form or ornament of the building. This research practice phenomenological analysis method with theoretical approach. Therefore, architecture linguistic study in Banua Layuk is according to three interpretation model, grammatical model, expressionist, and semiotic model. Architectural knowledge with philosophy and meaning in Banua Layuk house would become a comprehensive learning media for the next generation. The result explained that the Banua Layuk Mamasa form is determined by topography and climate condition considerations. Form transformational phase practiced with trial and error method to acquire a perfect form. Banua Layuk have a capability to create a harmony with nature, nondestructive and adopt the environmental condition, and integration that creates a harmony. Banua Layuk form transformation relates on the philosophy and life principles of Mamasa society, reflects on the Banua Layuk elements, such as the building form, rooms organization, and element that creates a space.","PeriodicalId":355290,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology, ICOST 2019, 2-3 May, Makassar, Indonesia","volume":" 65","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133017179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The search result through search engines with display the documents according to the keywords entered. The number of documents that were displayed will make the user difficult to fine the required documents and it a long time for the display process of the documents. K-Means algorithm is used for the clustering documents obtained through online with search engine whereas algorithm K-Nearst Neighbor is used for grouping the clustering result document that are done with offline. The clustering with K-Means can reduce computational time on the news grouping by using K-Nearst Neighbor. The combination of two methods result an average time of 0.5011 seconds. Whereas the grouping that uses pure K-Nearst Neighbor requires the computational time 2.4841 seconds. The test result indicated that the combination of the two algorithms resulted accurate classification with the faster computation time.","PeriodicalId":355290,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology, ICOST 2019, 2-3 May, Makassar, Indonesia","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126762530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to determine the pattern of plant-virus interactions through analysis of rbcL and coat protein genes. Virus source was collected from Bogor Botanical Garden. Detection of chloroplast and ORSV using Reverse Transcriptase-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), respectively. Analyzed change of nucleotide and amino acid sequences using DNASTAR and MEGA Beta programs. Chloroplast DNA and virus RNA amplification managed to get amplicons at ±599 bp and ±474 bp, respectively. Sequence nucleotides analysis showed point mutations with increased synthesis of Ser, Glu, Pro, dan Arg amino acids. This study revealed a change in sequence of nucleotides and amino acids were thought to be adaptations and physiological responses of host-virus to natural environments in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":355290,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology, ICOST 2019, 2-3 May, Makassar, Indonesia","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127428437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Anticancer activity tests of Fe(II) complex and metals without ligands on the breast cancer cell line (MCF-7) were carried out in vitro. Symptoms of soft rot in orchids are characterized by the appearance of blackish brown spots, leaves become runny and leaves become soft, turgor pressure on the leaves disappears, and produces a foul odor. Decay that occurs in young plant tissue quickly compared to adult plant tissue. The purpose of this study was to determine the antagonistic properties of endosymbiotic bacteria against soft rot bacteria tested on Phalaenopsis sp. A VEI (Volcano Explosively Index) IV eruption of Merapi began on 26th october 2010. This research aims to estimate the depth of pressure source and magma supply volume during 2009 2011. There are eight GPS stations installed around merapi volcano. During the eruption in October 2010, GPS data have shown lengthening of the baselines between Merapi’s crater and monitoring stations, it means that merapi has already entered into inflation process. Merapi Volcano begins to deflate in 2011. Estimation of the depth of pressure source and magma supply volume has been done using Mogi and Yokoyama models. The result shown the depth of pressure source before eruption is around 2.3 km and the magma supply volume about 55 million m3.","PeriodicalId":355290,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology, ICOST 2019, 2-3 May, Makassar, Indonesia","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130411672","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
