One effort to anticipate the price uncertainty is by conducting commodity price forecasting. In the concept of forecasting, the commodity prices can be predicted by studying sales data in the previous period. This study aims to implement a decision support system in predicting food commodity prices trend. In data collection, the authors used list of food commodities provided by Industry and Trade Service of Gowa Regency. For data analysis, we use Naive Bayes algorithm to predict the food commodity prices in the future and Simple Exponential Smoothing to find out the price trend in a certain period. As a result, both methods can predict commodity prices and market tendency in a given time completely.","PeriodicalId":355290,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology, ICOST 2019, 2-3 May, Makassar, Indonesia","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125794356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The natural dye that was extracted from Mimosa pudica Linn is potential to be used as a sensitizer for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell. In this work, the dyes were extracted from three parts of plants; leaves, flowers, and the mix. TiO2 was used as the active material for semiconductor and applied by using the Doctor Blade method. Testing cells and the measurement of the voltage and the current were done outside under the sun irradiation. The UV Vis spectra of the dyes indicated that the absorption of the three samples shows significant absorptions in quite similar wavelengths, approximately 665 nm. The DSSC cells had 0.16 %; 0.12 %; 0.01 % of conversion energy efficiency for flowers, leafs and mix respectively. These results indicated that the dye which is extracted from the flower of Mimosa pudica Linn is higher among all extracts.","PeriodicalId":355290,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology, ICOST 2019, 2-3 May, Makassar, Indonesia","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127273433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the things to be done is by increasing community participation by utilizing technologies such as smartphones to report the existence of waste. Location-Based Service (LBS) uses GPS technology in its application. Besides being able to find out the user's position, the LBS application can also determine the position of the reported waste. If a user can maximize this technology, then he or she can help out waste workers to retrieve waste by solely reporting the waste location. This research produces a mobile application that can locate and display the user’s and waste position. This application is the integration of google map services in determining the path between users and a place.","PeriodicalId":355290,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology, ICOST 2019, 2-3 May, Makassar, Indonesia","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130494195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is also used as wire support in distribution and transmission line. The main usual problem in an isolator is the pollutant layer on the isolator surface. The pollutant layer on the isolator surface could lead to breakdown voltage that might harm the electrical systems and human being. The polluted isolator can be conducted by Equivalent Salt Deposit Density (ESDD) and Non-Soluble Deposit Density (NSDD).
