{"title":"IMPACT OF THE EGYPTIAN PARTNERSHIP IN ECONOMIC BLOCS AND BILATERAL AGREEMENTS ON Egypt's AGRICULTURAL EXPORTS","authors":"عادل يوسف عوض, مجدي محمد الجندي, رجب مغاوري علي زين, هاجر محمد قنديل","doi":"10.21608/mjabes.2021.187164","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21608/mjabes.2021.187164","url":null,"abstract":"The study aimed to answer three questions, the first of which looks at the difference in the volume of Egyptian agricultural exports between countries that enter into economic or bilateral blocs with Egypt from their counterparts that do not share with Egypt.The results were as follows: The average volume of Egypt's exports of oranges, grapes, potatoes, and onions to the countries with which Egypt has agreements reached about 26, 2, 22, 13 thousand tons as an average for the period 1986-2017, respectively. While the average volume of exports of the same crops to countries with which Egypt is not bound by any form of agreements was about 27, 2.5, 62, 27 thousand tons during the same period. The significant differences between the quantities exported of the four crops to different countries were also proven. \u0000 \u0000Moving to the second question, which reflects the effect of activating trade agreements or blocs on the change in the volume of exports of the study crops, the results were as follows:The results of the t-test for the differences between the two averages before and after the agreement showed that all the differences between the average exports of Egyptian oranges after and before activating the agreements between the countries referred to in the research were significant, except for Jordan and Kuwait. In the case of the grape crop, the results showed that all the differences between the average exports of Egyptian grapes were insignificant after and before activating the agreements.All the differences between average exports of potatoes after and before activating the agreements between the aforementioned countries, with the exception of Greece and Germany, were also found to be significant. This study came in five chapters, where the first chapter dealt with the study problem, its objective, the results of the study, the data sources and the research method used, as well as the reference review of the most important studies, research and scientific messages related to the subject of the study. \u0000The theoretical framework of the research was covered inthe second chapter, where the concept of economic integration, its foundations and conditions, its advantages and problems related to it was addressed, as well as the emergence of economic blocs and the stages of economic integration, in addition to a review of some models of blocs and bilateral agreements with which Egypt is linked. \u0000The third chapter deals with the current situation of the total Egyptian foreign trade by studying the time evolution of both exports and imports of the Egyptian college as well as the Egyptian trade balance during the period 2000-2016. The chapter also dealt with the temporal development of both Egyptian agricultural exports and imports as well as the Egyptian agricultural balance. This chapter also deals with some indicators of the efficiency of total and agricultural foreign trade, such as the rate of import coverage of exports, the average degree of economic exposure, and the average degree of economic participation in total foreign trade. \u0000As for the fourth and fifth chapter, it dealt with the evaluation of the effects of the Egyptian partnership on economic blocs and bilateral agreements on Egyptian agricultural foreign trade, especially the four most important export crops and the three most important import crops, and through this evaluation that economic blocs and bilateral agreements led to an increase in the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Egypt. {"title":"تحليل اقتصادي للفاقد من محصُول البطاطس الشتوي في مُحافظة الإسکندرية","authors":"محمد فوزي محمد الدناصوري","doi":"10.21608/mjabes.2021.181973","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21608/mjabes.2021.181973","url":null,"abstract":"استهدف البحث تقدير الفاقد من محصول البطاطس الشتوي في محافظة الإسکندرية، وقد اعتمد البحث في تحقيق أهدافه على إستخدام بعض أساليب التحليل الإحصائي الوصفي والکمي في تحليل البيانات الثانوية والأولية والتي تم الحصول عليها من خلال إستمارات الإستبيان لعينة من زراع محصول البطاطس الشتوي في إدارتي العامرية وخورشيد بمحافظة الإسکندرية خلال موسم 2021م استنادا إلى الأهمية النسبية للرقعة المزروعة من المحصول في کل منهما، وقد تم إختيار أکبر جمعيتين في کل إدارة زراعية، حيث تم إختيار تعاونيات النهضة وجمعية سيدي مسعود من إدارة العامرية الزراعية، وإمتداد أبيس وإصلاح أبيس من إدارة خورشيد وفقا للأهمية النسبية للرقعة المزروعة بالمحصول بکل منها، وقد بلغ عدد مفردات العينة 120 مزارعا وتم تقسيمهم إلى ثلاث فئات حيازية، حيث بلغ عدد الزراع بالفئة الأولى والتي تمثل المزارع الصغيرة ذات الرقعة الأقل من فدان 29 مزارعا، وبالفئة الثانية والتي تمثل المزارع المتوسطة ذات الرقعة التي تتراوح بين فدان وأقل من ثلاث أفدنة 48 مزارعا، وبالفئة الثالثة والتي تمثل المزارع الکبيرة ذات الرقعة الأکبر من ثلاث أفدنة 43 مزارعا. \u0000وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج، يمکن استعراض أهمها فيما يلي: \u0000(1) يعزى الفاقد الإنتاجي وفقا لآراء الزراع المبحوثين في العينة البحثية إلى الأسباب التالية: سوء الظروف الجوية، عدم إنتظام الري، سوء شبکة الصرف الزراعي، سوء أداء العمليات الميکانيکية للحصاد، ونقص مکافحة الآفات الحشرية والأمراض الفطرية، بينما يرجع الفاقد التسويقي إلى الأسباب التالية: التقليع والجمع غير الجيد، الفرز والتدريج غير الجيد، التعبئة غير الجيدة، طرق النقل غير الممهدة، وتأخير إستلام تاجر الجملة للمحصول. \u0000 (2) بلغإجمالي کلا من الفاقد الإنتاجي والفاقد التسويقي الفداني من محصول البطاطس الشتوي لإجمالي فئات العينة البحثية حوالي 1.605، 0.537 طن للفدان على الترتيب، يمثل نحو 12.56%، 4.20% من متوسط الغلة الفدانية لإجمالي فئات العينة والبالغ حوالي 12.78 طن، وبالتالي يبلغ إجمالي الفاقد الفداني حوالي 2.142 طن للفدان، يمثل نحو 16.76% من متوسط الغلة الفدانية. \u0000(3) تبين من تقدير دالة الفاقد للفئة الحيازية الأولى أنه عند نقص مکافحة الآفات الحشرية والأمراض الفطرية، وزيادة طرق النقل غير الممهدة بمقدار 10% يزداد الفاقد الکلي من البطاطس الشتوي بنحو 0.84%، 1.28% على الترتيب، ومع زيادة الإنتاجية الفدانية بمقدار 10% يتناقص الفاقد الکلي من البطاطس الشتوي بنحو 0.79%. \u0000(4) يتبين من تقدير دالة الفاقد للفئة الحيازية الثانية أنه عند نقص مکافحة الآفات الحشرية والأمراض الفطرية، وزيادة طرق النقل غير الممهدة بمقدار 10% يزداد الفاقد الکلي من البطاطس الشتوي بنحو 1.42%، 0.97% على الترتيب، ومع زيادة الإنتاجية الفدانية بمقدار 10% يتناقص الفاقد الکلي من البطاطس الشتوي بنحو 1.68%. \u0000(5) يتبين من تقدير دالة الفاقد للفئة الحيازية الثالثة أنه بزيادة کل من الظروف الجوية السيئة، التقليع والجمع غير الجيد، والفرز والتدريج غير الجيد بمقدار 10% يزداد الفاقد الکلي من البطاطس الشتوي بنحو 1.03%، 5.37%، 2.24% على الترتيب، ومع زيادة الإنتاجية الفدانية بمقدار 10% يتناقص الفاقد الکلي من البطاطس الشتوي بنحو 4.38%. \u0000(6) قدر الفاقد الکلي من محصول البطاطس الشتوي على مستوى العينة البحثية بحوالي 478.20 طن من رقعة منزرعة بلغت حوالي 223.25 فدان، کما تقدر الرقعة المعادلة للفاقد بحوالي 37.42 فدان تمثل نحو 16.76% من الرقعة المنزرعة بالعينة، کما تقدر التکاليف المهدرة بحوال","PeriodicalId":352585,"journal":{"name":"Menoufia Journal of Agricultural Economic and Social Sciences","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124709110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
