In this work a tool was developed to estimate the design parameters of a Stewart-Gough platform based automated storage / retrieval system (AS/RS). Based on the specific input details, important design parameters such as Length, Width and Height of each of the storage rack as well as the whole AS/RS were obtained. Also the number of storage / retrieval machines which are required for the obtained design model was also estimated. Additionally, another tool was also developed to estimate the single command and dual command cycle of the AS/RS based on FEM 9.851. As the throughput of the system is one of the important indicators of system performance, effort was done to optimise the design and obtain the best solution (throughput) from the given input data. It was found that there exist an optimal Height at which the single and dual command cycle time is the lowest, and the throughput of the system the highest. This height of the system was chosen to the optimal height for the given input value. However, the crucial problem resulted from the small volume of miniature autonomous robots is the difficulty of adopting appropriate sensing and computing subsystems in constrained space. This paper presents the control system of a miniature autonomous surveillance robot (“BMS-1”) for indoor reconnaissance missions. The national status of the logisitics had been determined in China. Strengthening the logisitics cost management research has important practical significance. Compared with the developed countries, the logisitics management in China still has a long way to go. The current logisitics cost financial accounting has the system defects, the logisitics cost management failed to use the effiency of the supply chain to improve the logisitics operation efficiency, a large proportion of the logisitics cost hadn't been truthfully revealed. The Activity Based Costing method(ABC) suits for the logisitics cost management which can make up the defects of the tradition cost accounting in the allocation of the indirect cost. However, the ABC method ignores the capital cost, which leads to incomplete cost information, and affects the correct decision-making to the supervisors. While the Economic Value Added method (EVA) takes the capital cost into consideration, which can make up the defects of the tradition cost accounting. Establishing the ABC and EVA integrated mode is quite useful for the logisitics cost management. This paper takes the manufacturing enterprise as the research object, analyzes the basic theory, the validity judgment, the process of the mode. Based on the complete cost information, the ABC and EVA integrated system can help the supervisor achieve the idea transformation from the profitability to value-creating ability. Such a general QP formulation is subject to equality, inequality and bound constraints, simultaneously. Motivated by the realtime solution to such robotic inverse-kinematics problems, the standard QP optimization routines and primal-dual neural network based on linear variational inequalities (due to its simple piecewise-linear dynamics and higher computational efficiency) are investigated in this paper. The influences of folding angle, stiffness of the inner hinge and the stiffness of the outer hinge on the modal parameters of the wing are investigated based on a series of finite element model. Since the autonomous golf ball collection robot is the very complex system which is composed of mechanical systems, power systems, and electronics systems, it requires many times of trial and errors for the development, which requires very high cost. Our strategy is the derivation of the optimal system architecture through the development of diverse functions on the emulator with a simple robot. For this, we use a global camera, which takes images of the whole ground and transfers to the server in real time. A special mark is installed on the robot to indicate the robot's position and orientation. The optimal paths to scan the dense ball regions are calculated using Traveling Salesman (TS) algorithm. Also, the robot collects balls in each dense ball region along with a spiral scanning trace.
