The purpose of this research is to determine the religious tolerance from the perspective of KH. M. Sholeh Bahruddin and to explore the practice. This research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach and the theory of structural functionalism by Talcott Parsons where data sources classified as primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques applied in this study are participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. In this study, the data analysis process includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study discover that religious tolerance from the perspective of kiai Sholeh are derived from the commands of the Qur'an and hadith, orders from parents and teachers, the application of the ideology of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah. Kyai Sholeh's practice of religious tolerance in Sufism includes the application of Galak Gampil's fiqh law, and peaceful behavior towards anyone. This reflected in his da'wah with the method of \"embracing not hitting, looking for friends, not looking for opponents, inviting not to mock and spreading mercy not curses\" and adhering to his principles of associating with non-Muslims, namely \"Single skipper is only different in appearance\" and \"there are no minority nor majority communities, but plurality” for all humans without being limited by ethnicity, religion, race, and culture. The attitude of tolerance includes: broad and honest, namely: the attitude of students in having many and deep scientific views and insights, both worldly science, ukhrowi science and social science. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Mengetahui toleransi beragama perspektif KH. M. Sholeh Bahruddin dan mengetahui praktik toleransi beragama. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi serta teori struktural fungsionalisme Talcott Parsons dengan sumber data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, proses analisis data yaitu meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa toleransi beragama perspektif kiai Sholeh yaitu perintah Al-Qur’an dan hadis, perintah orang tua bersama guru, penerapan ideologi ahlus wal jamaah Sunnah. For a Banjar ethnic woman, who adheres to her cultural customs, a marriage for them will only take place when it is arranged by the family. Arranged marriage means a marriage determined by the family with the prospective husband chosen by the family on certain factors. Family is the dominant factor that determines the future of a Banjar ethnic woman especially in the aspect of marriage. The research methodology used in this research is a literature review that reveals the secrets behind conventional marriage practices using a phenomenological approach. Firstly, this study found that for the Banjar ethnic group, traditionally arranged marriages are compulsory. Second, there is a culture of giving money in a nominal amount to the bride’s family before the wedding takes place. Third, the bride’s home must be filled with donations such as furniture or daily household necessities. If things as stated cannot be met, then the bride’s family will look for another prospective husband for her daughter. The purpose of this study is to determine the practice of the iwadh tradition and the function of practicing this tradition for the people of Kampung Arab. This research is descriptive qualitative with an empirical approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study illustrate that this tradition is carried out by the people of Kampung Arab as a gathering place for fellow residents, as well as those from other villages involved in this activity, after the implementation of the Ramadan fast, and as a sign of gratitude after the implementation of fasting for one month. The essence of the practicing of this tradition is to forgive each other mistakes that occur between people so that the practice of fasting carried out during the month of Ramadan is expected to be accepted by Allah SWT. In addition, it has developed into a meeting place for parents, relatives and friends who have not seen each other for a long time.Keywords: tradition, Kampung Arab, iwadh. ABSTRAKArtikel ini meneliti tentang tradisi iwadh yakni suatu kebiasaan turun-temurun yang dilakukan setelah bulan Ramadan dan telah menjadi salah satu ciri khas masyarakat Kampung Arab yang membedakan dengan komunitas masyarakat lainnya yang ada di Kota Manado. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan tradisi iwadh beserta fungsi pelaksanaan tradisi ini bagi masyarakat Kampung Arab. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan empiris. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa tradisi ini dilakukan oleh masyarakat Kampung Arab sebagai ajang sillaturrahmi antarsesama warga Kampung Arab, maupun warga lain yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini, pascapelaksanaan puasa Ramadan, dan sebagai tanda syukur setelah pelaksanaan puasa selama satu bulan. Inti dari pelaksanaan tradisi ini adalah saling mengikhlaskan segala kesalahan yang terjadi antarmasyarakat sehingga amalan puasa yang dilakukan selama bulan Ramadan diharapkan dapat diterima Allah Swt. The radicalism movement is a concept that wish changes in society using a narrow religious understanding base which usually leads to bomb terror acts. The Central Java region is one area that is often used as the basis of radicalism movements spreading across various regions. The government cooperates with several Islamic organizations, one of which is (Nahdlatul Ulama), to take part in preventing radicalism that can threaten the integrity of the nation and state. This article aims to reveal the role of Nahdlatul Ulama's national politics in repressing the radicalism movement in Indonesia, especially in the Pati Regency area. The research method applied is qualitative with a literature study approach and through interviews. The NU Branch Leader (PCNU) made several programs to repress radicalism in the Pati Regency area, among others, by solidifying students in the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association (IPNU) by holding Basic Leadership Training (LDK) in collaboration with the National Military Forces (TNI) and academics. In addition, Ansor and Banser of Pati Regency were active in conducting discussions with the theme of counteracting radicalism. These activities by Nahdlatul Ulama are effective in repressing radicalism in the Pati Branch area. Gerakan radikalisme merupakan paham yang menginginkan perubahan dalam masyarakat yang seringnya menggunakan dasar pemahaman agama yang sempit yang biasanya berujung pada aksi teror bom. Wilayah Jawa Tengah merupakan salah satu wilayah yang sering menjadi basis gerakan radikalisme yang tersebar di berbagai daerah. Pemerintah menggandeng beberapa ormas Islam salah satunya adalah Nahdlatul Ulama yang ikut andil dalam rangka pencegahan radikalisme yang dapat mengancam keutuhan bangsa dan negara. Artikel ini bertujuan mengungkap peran politik kebangsaan Nahdlatul Ulama dalam membendung gerakan radikalisme di Indonesia khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Pati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur serta melalui wawancara. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data collection methods applied are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study found that the presence and expansion of Islam in Gorontalo also influenced the religious perspective held by the people of Gorontalo. The willingness of the local community to adapt to the new teachings of Islam that they believe is a reinforcement of the acculturation of local cultural practices with the implementation of the tradition of the maulid of the Prophet Muhammad. The early Islamic preachers in Gorontalo managed to distinguish between the part of the local culture that still worth preserved and the part that must be preserved. This combination and acculturation effort between Islam and local culture is able to engender a new version and level of culture that is unique and has a local character. The innovative ability of the preachers to communicate Islamic rituals to the local culture of the Gorontalo people, can lead to a critical appreciation of the local values of the community's culture and the characteristics that accompany these values. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa kehadiran dan ekspansi Islam di Gorontalo turut mempengaruhi cara pandang keagamaan yang dianut oleh masyarakat Gorontalo. Kesediaan masyarakat lokal untuk mau beradaptasi dengan ajaran Islam yang baru mereka yakini menjadi penguat dari akulturasi praktik budaya lokal dengan pelaksanaan tradisi maulid Nabi Muhammad saw. Para pendakwah Islam awal di Gorotalo berhasil memilah antara bagian budaya lokal yang masih layak dipertahankan dan bagian yang harus dilestarikan. Upaya kombinasi dan akulturasi antara Islam dan budaya lokal ini mampu melahirkan versi dan level budaya baru yang khas dan bercorak lokal. The rise of the consumer of alcohol among the students damage the image of the campus it self. Alcohol consumption is deviant behavior. Not only that, alcohol can also eliminate the religiosity of a person. But not for the students, as people who are educated and understand the dangers of alokohol. Pleased with this, it is important to study related to forms of religious conduct student alcohol addict as well as the factors that cause the students still consume alcohol although active in the religious practices and social. This research uses qualitative approaches are phenomenology, where the source of the research consists of five people who have the status as students at several campuses in Yogyakarta. Interview and observation as methods of data collection, while data analysis was done in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that students with addictions alcoholics have the attitude of a good religious relationship with God and fellow human beings, such as praying, fasting, helping people in need and participate in community social activities. As for the reasons of students as individuals who are alcoholics, but still internalize religious values and the social in everyday life is because of views and his intentions in taking the alcohol it self. If consuming alcohol because it has become a custom or as a step to calm your self and forget about the problem then it will never bring up the of negative or evil actions.Keywords: The behavior of the religious; Alcohol; Students ABSTRAKTulisan ini berangkat dari fenomena unik yang dialami oleh mahasiswa yakni sebagai pecandu alkohol. Maraknya konsumen alkohol di kalangan mahasiswa merusak citra kampus itu sendiri. Mengonsumsi alkohol merupakan perilaku menyimpang. Tidak hanya itu, alkohol juga dapat menghilangkan religiusitas seseorang. Namun tidak untuk mahasiswa, sebagai orang yang berpendidikan dan paham akan bahaya alokohol. Berkenan dengan hal tersebut, maka penting untuk dikaji terkait dengan bentuk-bentuk perilaku religius mahasiswa pecandu alkohol serta faktor-faktor penyebab mahasiswa tetap mengonsumsi alkohol meskipun aktif dalam praktek-praktek keagamaan dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bersifat fenomenologi, dimana sumber penelitian terdiri dari lima orang yang berstatus sebagai mahasiswa di beberapa kampus di Yogyakarta. Wawancara dan observasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahap, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. This study aims to trace the history and basic principles of the tradition ngejot between the Sasak and Balinese in Lombok as an effort to knit the harmony for the happiness for the followers of the religion. In recent years, the tradition of ngejot almost never applied between the two religions. methods research using qualitative-descriptive approach of psychology and sociology. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melacak sejarah dan prinsip dasar dari tradisi ngejot antara masyarakat Suku Sasak dan Bali di Lombok sebagai upaya merajut harmoni untuk kebahagiaan bagi para pemeluk agama. They believe in, understand and practice Islam based on the ideology of the Sufism which is synonymous with strong belief in mystical problems and spells in solving life problems faced. The Qur'an for rural Muslims, the Sasak ethnic group, is believed to be a magical tool in the form of a spell which if it can function as a solution to the problems of life. This study aims to reveal the factors that cause the birth of the practice of using Qur'anic spells and the forms of practice of using Qur'anic spells. This research is a field research related to socio-cultural problems. The approach used is religious anthropology and historical approaches. Methods of data collection are done by means of observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that rural Muslims of the Sasak ethnic group adhere to the ideology of the sufism which is identical with a high belief in the benefits of the Qur’anic spell as a solution to life problems experienced, such as functioning as a treatment for diseases that are medical and non-medical in nature, to protect themselves or as a means of supernatural powers. As a way for the sake of getting a mate, used to get offspring, and as a means of house keeping.Keywords: Magism; Qur’anic spell, Sasak ethnicABSTRAKEtnis Sasak di Lombok Nusa Tengga Barat tergolong penganut agama Islam yang fanatik, terutama masyarakat pedesaan. Mereka meyakini, memahamai dan mengamalkan Islam berdasarkan faham tarekat yang identik dengan keyakinan yang kuat pada masalah mistik dan mantra dalam menyelesaikan problematika kehidupan yang dihadapi. Al-Qur’an bagi Muslim pedesaan etnis Sasak diyakini sebagai alat magis dalam bentuk mantra yang jika bisa berfungsi sebagai solusi bagi problematika kehidupan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap faktor-faktor penyebab lahirnya praktik penggunaan mantra Alquran dan bentuk-bentuk praktik penggunaan mantra Alquran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang berkaitan dengan masalah sosial budaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah antropologi Agama dan pendekatan sejarah. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study (case study) which emphasizes the ability of the researcher as a key research instrument. The research findings at least explain several things, namely; 1) the development of the pesantren that occurred in Poso began after the conflict of faith where one of the incidents in the conflict was the massacre that occurred at the Walisongo Islamic boarding school in Kilo Sembilan, 2) the radicalism that developed in Poso did not coincide with the motivation for the development of the pesantren, 3) the developing pesantren Poso has no relationship with the MIT group, 4) MIT is purely a combatant group that grows from social ties outside Islamic boarding school education, 5) MIT combatant actors in the investigations conducted by researchers do not come from the pesantren educational environment in Poso, moreover pesantren in Poso is a typology of traditional pesantren which is still said to be very young and not yet established and does not yet have a broad network of regeneration, so it is impossible to become a fabricator of Poso combatants.Keywords: Islamic boarding schools; conflict; radicalism ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan fenomena perkembangan pesantren yang tumbuh dan berkembang di tengah dinamika konflik yang masih terus terjadi hingga saat ini, di mana pada sisi yang lain perkembangan pesantren juga turut diwarnai dengan maraknya gerakan radikalisme yang ditandai dengan munculnya kelompok sipil bersenjata yang belakangan disebut Mujahidin Indonesia Timur (MIT), penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dugaan hubungan pesantren dengan radikalisme, pesantren dengan MIT dan dugaan pesantren sebagai pabrikasi radikalisme. Adapun metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus (case study) yang menekankan pada kemampuan peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci penelitian. The impact of the distribution of hoax content is relatively diverse. Starting from causing anxiety and fear in some community groups to becoming national attention through mass media coverage. This study aims to determine how the Covid-19 hoax effect for iGeneration in Buru Regency. This research is a field research. The population in this study were students of Universitas Iqra Buru, Buru Regency, Maluku. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed based on the effect theory and mass communication function to determine the effects of hoax news. The results showed that the hoax issues that most circulated on social media during the Covid-19 pandemic were SARA hoaxes, health hoaxes, and politics hoaxes. Based on the research results, it can be seen that there is a tendency for SARA hoaxes and political hoaxes to have an affective effect on the community, especially for iGeneration in Buru Regency. Health hoaxes tend to have a conative effect on the community. Mulai dari menimbulkan keresahan dan ketakutan di sebagian kelompok masyarakat hingga menjadi perhatian nasional melalui pemberitaan media massa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah efek hoaks covid-19 bagi iGeneration di Kabupaten Buru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Iqra Buru, Kabupaten Buru, Maluku. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan teori efek dan fungsi komunikasi massa untuk mengetahui efek berita hoaks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan isu hoaks yang paling banyak beredar di media sosial selama pandemi Covid-19 adalah hoaks SARA, kesehatan, dan politik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terlihat adanya kecenderungan hoaks SARA dan hoaks politik memberi efek afektif kepada masyarakat, khususnya bagi iGeneration di Kabupaten Buru.
