The data sources consisted of primary data, namely from the North Sumatra regional campaign team and secondary data from various books, documents, journals, articles, websites and others related to this research. The main informants were the campaign team which was determined purposively in accordance with the research objectives. Besides that, the community also distributed questionnaires to the voters for the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin presidential candidate in several cities and districts, namely Medan, Tebing Tinggi, Simalungun, and Tapanuli Tengah as a form of representation from the regions in North Sumatra because of the diversity of ethnicities, cultures, and religion. The results of the study indicate that the communication pattern of President Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin's regional campaign team in North Sumatra is carried out in broad lines through two forms, namely direct communication with the community and indirect communication or by using mass media. The delivery of infrastructure development work programs to the campaign masses received a response from the voting public. Campaigns through the approach and involvement of religious leaders can also attract sympathy from the voters. The voters for the Jokowi-Ma'ruf presidential candidate in North Sumatra generally answer because of the figure of the presidential candidate. Medan City Government through the Regional Planning and Development Agency of Medan City Establishes several Strategic Areas in Medan City through the 2016-2021 Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Medan City including the Social and Cultural Strategic Area (KSK). This study uses a research method with a qualitative descriptive approach.Among them are Identification of Potential and Problems, Program Identification and using P3 (Arrangement, Supervision and Coaching). The research results show that the Medan City Government has implemented P3 through the elaboration of the RTRW trip that has been running for 4 years. However, it is still constrained by the process of guidance and supervision. Because some of these regional assets are not fully owned by the City Government but are owned by tribes and companies. The dominant character of students in putting an interest in the knowledge, learning and translation of new words during the Covid-19 pandemic to deal with the spread of Covid-19 was very good, interested, uplifting and enthusiastic. The level of effectiveness of digital campuss by students when the corona pandemic is very high and dominant. The study discusses the US-China trade tension and its impact on the global economy because the US-China trade war is imminent at the point in time since President Trump came to power in 2016. This research aims to examine how US-China trade tension is unfolding and the significant change of this trade tension on the world economy. The systematic literature review was engaged to capture the sequence of the event as they are happening between the US and China with regards to trade barriers. This research reviewed 19 peer-review journals and some news items and WTO resources relevant to this study. This study revealed that the US-China trade tension has affected consumer goods to some extent but it may not affect the global economy currently. However, it is evident that in the long-run; the US-China trade war will have an impact on the lives of people and the global economy if the issue continues to intensify. In conclusion, the economy of the US has declined drastically by 0.8% while China also experience 0.4% fall in the economy in 2019. The impact is currently not severe on the global economy but if the tension continues it might have a negative impact on the global economy. Akmaluddin","doi":"10.33258/birci.v3i3.1138","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33258/birci.v3i3.1138","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this study is to determine and review: (1) teacher performance models that are built based on the associative causal relationship between exogenous variables and endogenous variables, (2) the effect of interpersonal communication on job satisfaction, (3) the effect of interpersonal communication on teacher performance, (4) the effect of satisfaction on teacher performance. This research was conducted in elementary schools with 154 respondents from 28 public elementary schools in Pidie Jaya. For questionnaire data collection with five alternative answer choices, while for the performance variable is done by observation using an observation sheet. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The instrument used was preceded by a trial to respondents outside the sample to obtain a valid and relative instrument. Validity test uses product moment correlation, whereas to test its reliability with the Alpha formula from Cronbach. Before testing the hypothesis first, the analysis requirements test is calculated including the data normality test and the regression linearity test. The results showed (1) obtained by the teacher performance model, (2) Interpersonal communication had a direct positive effect on job satisfaction, (3) Interpersonal communication had a direct positive effect on teacher performance, (4)Job satisfaction had a positive direct effect on teacher performance. Some well-known tourist objects from abroad to foreign countries such as Lake Toba, and Mount Lawang with Sumateran orangutans. While is one of the gateways to reach tourist destinations in North Sumatra Province, including the city that has the Maimun City Palace and the Great Mosque that represents the history of the continuity of the Malay Kingdom, the Tjong A Fie House and the colonial colonial buildings that have talked about for years. This study aims to analyze and determine how to encourage tourists, destination images, and tourist satisfaction with tourist loyalty in North Sumatra Province. This research uses quantitative methods with data analysis methods. Multiple linear regression because it is based on two or more independent variables on variables, after that the data processing technique uses SPSS version 22 as a tool. This study found that the results consisted only of motivation variables which did not have a significant effect, while other variables had a significant effect on tourist loyalty. The results showed that the independent variables consisted of motivation variables (X1), destination image variables (X2), and satisfaction (X3) positively and significantly towards the variables supported by tourist loyalty (Y) visiting the tourist area of North Sumatra Province. This study obtained results consisting of the majority of visitors consisting of students aged 17 to 25 years. This research uses descriptive and verification methods. The place of research was conducted at Sumut Bank of Sharia Unit, North Sumatera. Considering the nature of this research is descriptive and verification, the research method used is descriptive survey and explanatory survey method. The type of investigation in this research is causality, which is testing the causal relationship between independent variables, intervening variables, moderating variables and dependent variables. The unit of analysis in this study is the employees at Sumut Bank of Sharia Unit, North Sumatera. The result shows that Competence in Sumut Bank of Sharia Unit, North Sumatera is perceived as poor to good. The highest average value is an indicator of the ability of employees to express narratives, meaning that employees actually have the ability to carry out their duties but are still not optimal. Nevertheless there are still some weaknesses in the indicator of the ability of employees to holistically look at problems in their lives.
