That promise was fulfilled during the reign of Joshua. So in the book of Joshua chapter 12 tells about the kings who were defeated during the reign of Moses and Joshua and the distribution of the promised land to the tribes of Israel. Meanwhile, Joshua chapter 13 tells of the lands that were left behind and had not been conquered by Joshua after he grew old and advanced in age. In addition, this chapter gives another account of Moses' conquest of Sihon and Og and the division of the land of Canaan to the tribes of Israel. Moses repeatedly told the Israelites about the land of Canaan to remind them that God was faithful to his promises to His chosen people. But there are still questions that arise among Christians, namely if God promised why the Israelites had difficulty entering the land of Canaan and occupying the land, there were even other nations left there. On this question, the author discusses the text that is in us, Joshua 12 and 13. Through this discussion, it is hoped that it can add insight to the readers about the conquest of nations and further strengthen the belief of today's believers that God's promises to His people are never broken. \u0000Ketika Bangsa Israel keluar dari Mesir mereka dituntun Tuhan masuk kembali ke dalam tanah Kanaan sesuai dengan janji Allah kepada nenek moyangnya. Janji itu digenapi pada masa kepemimpinan Yosua. Maka dalam Kitab Yosua pasal 12 menceritakan tentang raja-raja yang telah dikalahkan pada masa kepemimpinan Musa dan Yosua serta pembagian tanah perjanjian kepada suku-suku Israel. Sedangkan Yosua pasal 13 menceritakan negeri-negeri yang tertinggal dan belum ditaklukkan oleh Yosua setelah ia menjadi tua dan lanjut umur. Selain itu, pasal ini memberikan kembali laporan tentang penaklukan Musa atas Sihon dan Og serta pembagian tanah Kanaan kepada suku-suku Israel. Musa berulang kali menyampaikan kepada bangsa Israel tentang tanah Kanaan untuk mengingatkan mereka bahwa Allah setia terhadap janji kepada umat pilihan-Nya. Namun masih ada pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang muncul dikalangan orang Kristen, yaitu jika Allah yang berjanji mengapa bangsa Israel mengalami kesulitan masuk ke dalam tanah Kanaan dan menduduki negri itu, bahkan ada bangsa-bangsa lain yang tertinggal di sana. Atas pertanyaan ini maka penulis membahas teks yang ada dalam kita Yosua 12 dan 13. Women deal mostly with consumption and are limited to housewives, a bad mirror of women among Pentecostal women. While Pentecostal women also seem to enjoy the condition without a role. This paper aims to provide a significant insight into the need for education for women to be optimal in their duties and role according to the Lord Jesus’ mandate for believers which is facilitated in church stewardship. This paper was preceded by the application of descriptive qualitative research methods to served as church pastors, housewives, and leaders of Pentecostal service oraganizations. Researchers obtain the reality that the Pentecostal Church does not understand gender. Pentecostal women who are the source of data in this research are the facts of the domination of Pentecostal male ego, as well as providing a strong indication of the importance of Pentecostal women’s education in the context of efforts to optimize the role of female congregation members in church stewardship as concrete events that require creative and transformative solutions. \u0000Fakta bahwa masih ada pemahaman perempuan tidak perlu mengoptimalisasi diri terkait implementasi nilai-nilai iman Kristen, edukasi etika dan moralitas sebagai organisme yang terlibat dalam kegiatan penatalayanan gereja. Perempuan hanyalah berurusan dengan konsumsi, sebatas ibu rumah tangga, merupakan cermin buruk perempuan di kalangan perempuan Pantekosta. Sementara perempuan Pantekosta pun seolah-olah menikmati kondisi tanpa peran. Tulisan ini bertujuan memberikan suatu wawasan signifikan tentang perlunya pendidikan bagi kaum perempuan untuk menjadi optimal dalam tugas dan perannya sesuai mandat Tuhan Yesus bagi orang percaya yang difasilitasi dalam penatalayanan gereja. Tulisan ini didahului penerapan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif pada beberapa perempuan yang berperan sebagai gembala jemaat, ibu rumah tangga, dan pemimpin wadah-wadah pelayanan Pantekosta. Peneliti memperoleh realita bahwa Gereja Pantekosta tidak mengerti perihal gender. This study aimed to develop an ICT based application to learn English for Buddhist students of Kusalamitra Homeschooling. This recent study was a research and development study so it objected to develop an English learning application for the students. Subjects of this study were validators and Buddhist students. There were two techniques used to collect the data namely interview and questionnaires. The interview was used to identify students’ need in learning English. The questionnaires were used to validate the product and evaluate the product. The data collected were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. There were five procedures in conducting this study. Those were analyzing needs, designing product, developing product, implementing product, and evaluating product. Based on the research finding, this study showed that the media developed had very good quality and very worth to be implemented on the students. \u0000Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu Homeschooling Buddha yang bernama Homeschooling Kusalamitra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris bagi siswa. Terdapat dua subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu validator dan juga siswa Buddha homeschooling itu sendiri. Terdapat dua teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu melalui wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Terdapat lima langkah dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan, mendesain produk, mengembangkan produk, mengimplementasikan produk, dan mengevaluasi produk. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode Studi Literatur dengan pendekatan Biblika Kitab Puisi, adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari makna kebenaran menurut sudut pandang Pemazmur dalam Mazmur 111 ini yaitu setiap perbuatan yang telah dilakukan Allah sungguh besar, pekerjaan Allah pun sangat agung dan bersemarak bersama keadilan-Nya yang selalu tetap dari dulu sampai selamanya, Allah mengingat setiap perjanjian-Nya, perbuatan tangan-Nya merupakan kebenaran dan keadilan, Kudus dan dahsyat selalu nama Allah, dan permulaan hikmat adalah takut akan Tuhan. By not dismissing the problems and criticisms from scholars who doubted whether Pantecostalism really had a missiology, and doubted the process of learning about it in Christian religious higher education, here is narrated the dynamics of Pantecostal missiology. This paper presents the Pantecostal Church in Indonesia (PCiI or GPdI) and many things that surround it, the history of its formation since January 6, 1906 in the era of the Dutch East Indies as the object of study. To build a solid argument, based on the finding that there really is a Pantecostal missiology, we use a combined research method of quantitative empirical through a questionnaire survey for the need for a postgraduate thesis and qualitative based on primary data sources from the GPdI senior figures themselves and literature from other researchers as secondary sources. The paper is useful as a conceptual framework for the Indonesian academic field, namely Pantecostal missiology and Christian religious education which has never been the object of study so far that is useful for Christian religious higher education and global studies of Pantecostalism which is currently growing in the international academic arena. \u0000Tulisan ini menampilkan misiologi Pantekosta baik itu secara historis, proses belajar mengajar, maupun data empiris yang lebih baru. Dengan tidak menampik adanya problem dan kritik dari sarjana yang banyak meragukan apakah Pantekosta benar-benar memiliki misiologi, dan meragukan proses pembelajaran akan hal tersebut di pendidikan tinggi keagamaan Kristen, di sini dinarasikan dinamika misiologi Pantekosta. Tulisan ini mengetengahkan Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) dan banyak hal yang mengitarinya sejarah pembentukannya sejak 6 Januari 1906 di era Hindia Belanda sebagai objek studi. Untuk membangun argumentasi yang solid atas dasar temuan bahwa benar ada misiologi Pantekosta, kami menggunakan metode penelitian gabungan antara kuantitatif empiris lewat survei angket untuk kebutuhan tesis pascasarjana dan kualitatif berdasarkan sumber data primer dari tokoh GPdI itu sendiri serta literatur dari peneliti lain sebagai sumber sekunder. Laukapitang","doi":"10.37364/jireh.v4i2.107","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.37364/jireh.v4i2.107","url":null,"abstract":"The basic diificulty in understanding the text is understanding the role of the devil who destroys the body but aims to save the soul of the person who is handed over to the devil which is very contrary to the goal of the devil who wants to destroy humans so that they experience eternal death instead of saving the soul. The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of handing people over to the devil in the text of 1 Corinthians 5:1-13. In addition, the author also explains the implications of the text for believers today. This study uses a grammatical-historical hermeneutic study method. The result of the author's study is that the concept of handing people over to the Devil in 1 Corinthians 5:1-13 is an act of the congregation by exercising church discipline against church members who have not left their sins and aims to provide a deterrent effect. Meanwhile, the implementation of the concept of handing people over to the Devil/demons in 1 Corinthians 5:1-13 is that believers live in a commitment to holiness, carry out church discipline as the identity of the holy people, and carry out church discipline as the authority of the congregation. \u0000 \u0000Kesulitan dasar dalam memahami teks tersebut ialah memahami peran Iblis yang membinasakan tubuh namun bertujuan untuk keselamatan roh atas orang yang diserahkan kepada Iblis yang sangat bertentangan dengan tujuan Iblis yang mau membinasakan manusia agar mengalami kematian kekal bukan keselamatan roh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengkaji konsep menyerahkan orang kepada Iblis dalam teks 1 Korintus 5:1-13. Selain itu, penulis juga menjelaskan implikasi teks bagi orang percaya pada masa kini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian hermeneutik gramatikal-historis. Hasil kajian penulis ialah konsep menyerahkan orang kepada Iblis dalam 1 Korintus 5:1-13 adalah tindakan jemaat dengan menjalankan disiplin gereja terhadap anggota jemaat yang belum meninggalkan dosanya dan bertujuan memberikan efek jera. This research was stimulated by the influence of secularism and pragmatism in the church as a result of the change in worldview from the modern era to being postmodern. Based on content analysis research methods, analyzing specifically the contents of several major literatures, it was found that the Gospel and evangelism had indeed disappeared in many church organizations, including evangelical churches and schools of theology in Indonesia. Because of these churches tend to follow the world's mindset and standards, thus leaving the Gospel as the highest standard, as seen in their world-oriented and worldly-inclined way of life. Many churches are conforming to the world. In fact, the loss of the Gospel in the church and evangelization in the world is the biggest and most serious problem in the world, namely moral, mental and spiritual destruction and eternal destruction. For this reason, reformation of the Gospel and evangelism have become an important and urgent agenda, so that the church returns to its nature as a church, the sole agent of God's gospel in the world and returns to its main function, namely evangelizing the world. That is the only solution to the problems of the church and the world. Character counseling guidance for students is a solution to answer the needs of these problems. Educators as implementers of educational tasks can restore character counseling guidance to meet the needs of students in responding to and dealing with shifts in socio-cultural values that affect a character. This research paper uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe educators designing character education patterns and strategies for counseling guidance approaches that are appropriate to the needs of the times and right on target. The educational counseling guidance revolution can be pursued by designing Strengthening Character Education which is: Faithful, Morals and Integrity. While the Strategic Approach: Thinking Critically, Be Optimistic, and Act Creatively. \u0000Degradasi moral pada generasi di abad 21 menjadi tantangan dan masalah kompleks yang harus segera ditangani oleh lembaga pendidikan. Bimbingan konseling karakter terhadap peserta didik merupakan solusi untuk menjawab kebutuhan persoalan tersebut. Para pendidik selaku pelaksana tugas pendidikan dapat melakukan restorasi bimbingan konseling karakter guna memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dalam menyingkapi dan mengadapi pergeseran nilai-nilai social budaya yang berpengaruh pada karakter. Penelitian naskah ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan para pendidik merancang pola pendidikan karakter dan strategi pendekatan bimbingan konseling yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman dan tepat pada sasaran. Revolusi bimbingan konseling pendidikan dapat ditempuh dengan merancang Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter yang: Bertaqwa, Bermoral dan Berintegritas. This study used quantitative methods with a sample of 30 students. The findings of the study revealed that the teaching style of lecturers at STT Basom Batam affects student learning motivation. This is shown by the data that if th ≥ tt, then there is a significant Influence of Lecturer Teaching Style (X) on the Learning Motivation of STT Basom (Y) students. From the table it is known that tt = 1.697 and from the calculations obtained 2.696 at a significance level of 5% with N = 30. Thus, th > tt, meaning that there is a significant influence of the lecturer's teaching style on the learning motivation of STT Basom Batam students. \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonfirmasi pengaruh gaya mengajar dosen terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Basom Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampel mahasiswa sebanyak 30 orang mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa gaya mengajar dosen di STT Basom Batam mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan data bahwa jika th ≥ tt, maka terdapat Pengaruh Gaya Mengajar Dosen (X) yang signifikan terhadap Motivasi Belajar mahasiswa STT Basom (Y). Dari tabel diketahui tt = 1,697 dan dari perhitungan diperoleh 2, 696 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan N = 30. Awareness of the importance of children to society and the church needs to be based on biblical concepts of nature of child and childhood. This is necessary because of the emergence of deviant attitudes towards children as a result of extreme understanding between children as sinners or children as innocent and pure individuals. One of them is the abuse of discipline and punishment and the underestimation of the possibility of crimes committed by children. Therefore, this article descriptively through literature study tries to retell the efforts of a reformer named John Calvin who has introduced the biblical concept of child and childhood with a balance between the sinful side and the precious side of a child in Geneva. Calvin's understanding and experience can set an example for a balanced view of children and childhood and help today's Christianity to carry out the responsibilities it should take for children in the family, church and society. \u0000 \u0000Anak-anak adalah masa depan dari sebuah masyarakat dan hari depan gereja. Kesadaran akan pentingnya anak-anak bagi masyarakat dan gereja perlu didasari oleh konsep yang biblikal mengenai natur dan masa kanak-kanak. Hal ini diperlukan karena timbulnya sikap-sikap yang menyimpang terhadap anak-anak sebagai hasil dari pemahaman yang ekstrem antara anak-anak sebagai manusia berdosa ataupun anak-anak sebagai pribadi yang polos dan murni. Salah satunya adalah penyalahgunaan disiplin dan hukuman serta penyepelean adanya kemungkinan kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh anak-anak. Oleh sebab itu, artikel ini secara deskriptif melalui studi pustaka berusaha menceritakan kembali usaha seorang reformator bernama John Calvin yang telah memperkenalkan konsep anak dan masa kanak-kanak yang biblikal dengan seimbang antara sisi berdosa dan sisi berharga seorang anak di Jenewa.
