The technologies create intelligent networked systems that have the potential to open up new markets for companies. These companies, which in the past focused on the development and production of innovative individual components or systems, now face the challenge of tapping this potential. Against this background, a future-proof system architecture for sports stadium components was developed that meet the future requirements of urbanized product-service systems. First, future scenarios of sports stadiums were created, which described the potential for changes in usage behaviour with increasing digitalization. Based on this, typical use cases were identified for the users in the reference scenario that is most likely to occur. With the help of the use cases, necessary system elements can subsequently be derived, to which potential technologies can be assigned with the help of a technology roadmap. This creates an orientation framework for further technological development.","PeriodicalId":345917,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Summit (E-TEMS)","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117110875","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Seeking for new technologies and adopting innovation is becoming an important and crucial issue to eliminate the complexity of the decision-making process and failure probability. Decision support system (DSS) is a computerized system that encompasses mathematical and analytical models, knowledge base and a user interface to help managers for making better decisions. This research aims to develop a decision support system based on K-means clustering algorithm to detect the optimal store location through social network events. Also, this research explains how to extract data from one social network channel \"Instagram\" using the \"Octoparse API\" as a web data extraction tool. K-means algorithm identifies k- number of centroids, and allocates every data point to the nearest cluster. As a result, we analyzed 12754 posts started on the 1st of January 2019. Cleaned data are transformed using Minimax and K-means algorithms. As an output, we have got json format data file with centres which are placed on the map to provide a better understanding. The Result of this research is a visualized map pointed with places to define the optimal location of a specific store at the selected region. The practical value of this DSS tool is to help users to make a more valuable and accurate decision which lead to a decrease in the probability of ineffective business decision and minimize the business losses.","PeriodicalId":345917,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Summit (E-TEMS)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124278489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there exists an increasing centralization and monopolization of data holders and service providers, especially in the form of the big US-based technology companies in the western world and central technology providers with close ties to the government in the Asian regions. Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) provides the technical building blocks to create decentralized data-driven systems, which bring data autonomy back to the users. In this paper, we propose a system in which the combination of SSI and a token economy based incentivisation strategies makes it possible to unlock the potential value of data-pools without compromising the data autonomy of the users.","PeriodicalId":345917,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Summit (E-TEMS)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124553448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Tecquium program fights back the declining interest in STEM areas in teenagers and young adults. It employs novel education techniques as flipped classroom, gamification and problem-based learning during the participation of a Mexican team in an international programming and 1/10 autonomous vehicles racing competition. These techniques belong to the Tec21 model. There are two focus groups: high school and undergraduate. Each one of them aims to develop specific technical and social skills. The continuous development of knowledge in AGVs demand a state- of-the-art platform capable of running high demanding calculations and movement. Sensing, sensor fusion, data processing, ML, AI and path planning algorithms form the basis of the program's curriculum. More than twenty students have been reached. Results show the effectivity of this program as there is a bigger interest in participating in STEM related activities in high schoolers and a higher commitment in undergraduate students doing research.","PeriodicalId":345917,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Summit (E-TEMS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129513962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the process of managing innovative projects, managers try to model creative behaviour and are based on creative technologies. Emotional infection is considered as a social and psychological mechanism of transferring the mental mood of the manager to other stakeholders of the innovative project, emotional impact in the face of direct contact, and the inclusion of the individual in certain mental states that affect the effectiveness of management. The main object of creative technology is the manager or group, and the task was to educate, educate and create the organization of new behaviour in adverse, deadly and aggressive external conditions. In times of crisis, the emotional behaviour of the project manager and his infection with the project team is exacerbated by external uncertainty. The stakeholder infection model is based on an understanding of the life cycle of the project manager, which is presented as a curve for personal changes of the manager of innovative projects and programs. Emotions are considered in content, reflecting the various aspects and meanings that caused them. To apply the psychophysiological formula for assessing the impact of the emotional state of the stakeholders of innovative projects, these influences have been transformed into a competent model for managing innovative projects. Examples of changes in the competence of the manager and the project team in the case of a wall and asthenic emotions are given.","PeriodicalId":345917,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Summit (E-TEMS)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127929206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This environment is characterized by competition and coopetition. MOORE (1993) presented an approach of the business ecosystem, in which long-term-successful companies work in network structures characterized by coopetition. In this context, companies can take different roles in this business ecosystem. In the literature, there are different approaches to describe these roles. However, an all-encompassing approach is missing, and it is unclear how to classify these roles. Therefore, this research aims to develop a framework to describe the roles of a business ecosystem. Such a framework allows classifying the competitive environment of an actor within the business ecosystem. Building on this understanding, strategic decisions can be prepared and derived. To ensure the validity of the developed framework, it was applied to a current case study, the electromobility business ecosystem.","PeriodicalId":345917,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Summit (E-TEMS)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133894228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
