É avaliada a abordagem de sistemas lineares com parâmetros variantes (LPV, do inglês linear-parameter varying system). O controlador tem estrutura de realimentação de estados com ação integral a fim de obter seguimento de referência e rejeição de perturbações constantes. A sintonia foi realizada através de técnicas de controle via LMI’s de Lyapunov garantindo estabilidade quadrática e condições de Destabilidade com solução politópica. The use of DGs in these systems brings benefits and challenges. One of these challenges is the effect of DGs on overcurrent protection. This paper contains simulation results when inserting DG in a test system - IEEE 13 bars. For this, overcurrent protection devices were incorporated into the original system, in the places where DGs were inserted, for an evaluation of the network's behavior. The impact of these DGs was evaluated in the application of symmetrical three-phase faults in specific locations of the system, for a given DG size. An analysis of current variation, selectivity and protection coordination was performed in numerical and graphical form, in 2 different scenarios. One recent application field that requires an efficient PFC boost converter is the Wireless Power Transfer system (WPT). In this paper, the design of a single-phase PFC boost converter is presented. The proposed converter comprises three parallel switches to reduce the component stress and ensuring safe circuit operation. It utilizes FAN6982 Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) controller. The design of the controller circuit and the controller parameter specifications are presented. Design guidelines for components are provided. The designed PFC boost converter is first validated in PSIM simulation software and then a 1.5 kW/ 350 Vdc prototype is implemented. Despite the enormous potential, few research works have been conducted regarding the representativeness of the movement of these simulators. Thus, the present work seeks to propose an optimization of the washout filter using the genetic algorithm to obtain the parameters capable of maximizing pilot's acceleration perception during the plane's takeoff. 3 configurations were proposed: solution 1 that does not impose displacement limits for channel B of the simulator, solution 2 with a limited displacement of 15° for the channel B and solution 3 that considers the limit of 15° and a different configuration of the cost function. It was found that the solution that maximizes pilot perception is the solution 1. Solutions 2 and 3 were similar, which indicates that it is the best configuration to be obtained with the current workspace limitation. In the simulations performed, an exogenous disturbance in the form of an increase in the mechanical input power on the shaft of the synchronous generator was considered. Moreover, variations in the power demand of the load were also taken into account. With the implemented adjustments, comparisons were performed using graphical analyses of the time response and non-intrusive performance indices. Nesse contexto, o objetivo principal é determinar, através de um processo de otimização, o tempo de operação necessário para cada configuração que fornece o menor custo para o abastecimento. Para esse trabalho é utilizado o método de programação não linear baseado no método SQP (programação quadrática sequencial) para se determinar o mínimo da função do problema de otimização linear, multivariáveis e uni-objetivo com restrições resultantes. Automatic vehicle classification is one of the most critical subsystems, as it is responsible for the validation of vehicle categories on electronic toll collection. Vehicle classification needs to reach a high success rate, and in real applications, it is achieved by using several intrusive sensors and sophisticated algorithms. This paper proposes a novel classification method based on binary images of vehicle profiles extracted from a non-intrusive optical barrier sensor. We used a modified AlexNet convolutional neural network as a vehicle classification algorithm. The last layers of the network were modified to the vehicle classification domain. We used transfer learning and data augmentation techniques. The method was tested using 11233 images grouped into a set of 11 categories. O problema de ajuste é formulado de forma a se maximizar o coeficiente mínimo de amortecimento considerando-se várias condições operativas para a garantia de robustez. Os algoritmos quânticos aqui empregados são o Quantun Particle Swarm Optimization (QPSO) baseado no PSO clássico e o Quantun Flower Pollination Algorithm (QFPA) inspirado no Flower Pollination Algorithm. Simulações para o Sistema Sul-Sudeste brasileiro são realizadas de forma a se analisar o desempenho dos algoritmos e verificar a efetividade dos ajustes realizados. This paper presents an architecture to develop a novel autonomous snowblower concept that uses IoT to intelligently determine the best times to clear a driveway. By examining weather data for the area of operation, the snowblower will combine computer vision and Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) to effectively clear an area of snow before accumulation becomes too much for the electric motors to handle. This combination of IoT and conventional automation allows for a tradeoff between intelligence and power. A abordagem proposta para o FAPU permite que a corrente pela rede seja senoidal e em fase com a tensão, e as cargas sejam fornecidas com tensão eficaz constante e forma de onda senoidal. Para gerar o sinal de referência da corrente é utilizada a Teoria de Potência Conservativa além de um controlador do tipo proporcional ressonante para controlar os sinais de tensão e corrente.
