In the era of social networks and the intensification of “fake news”, teaching young people the rules of countering disinformation is the first step towards creating a safe information field. The subject of the research is a quest as a tool for the development of media competence. The purpose is to identify the potential of the quest as a tool for developing critical thinking. We consider the gamified format of media literacy development optimal for today’s students, representatives of generation Z, since it is the zoomers who appreciate the introduction of game elements into the learning process as a reference to their rich gaming experience. The stages of creating an educational quest are considered, the technology of its implementation based on the author’s case “Media-Compass” is described. The conclusion is made about the high potential of the quest as a dynamic, emotionally saturated tool for the development of media competence among the modern generation of students in the post-truth era.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68220263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, the interest of linguistics in the conceptualization and verbalization of bodily and psychological individual experience leads to the need to study ego-documents that tell about the most difficult, traumatic life situations (hunger, war, disability, fatal illness, loss of loved ones, etc.). The purpose of the work is to explication of the specifics of the perception of the corporality of a resident of besieged Leningrad through the verbalization of one’s own and others’ bodily experience. The number of specific elements of the conceptualization of corporality (hunger, dystrophy, cold, trauma, etc.) were revealed. An analysis of the memories of the blockade survivors convincingly proves that the body was perceived by the starving inhabitants as deformed, destroyed and striving for inevitable death. Reflection on the body and corporality inevitably leads to the realization of the rigid connection of corporality with the psyche and morality. Such specific forms of comprehension and verbalization of the physicality of blockade runners as hunger trauma, winter trauma, and alienation of the body are identified and analyzed. The analysis of the traumatic bodily experience of the inhabitants of the besieged Leningrad can serve as a further development of linguistic studies of both corporality and traumatic experience.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68217849","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The term “legal linguistics” was introduced in 1999. At the same time, the first issue of the publication “Legal Linguistics” was published – a project designed to comprehend and discuss current problems at the intersection of language and law and immediately became one of the most cited scientific sources in the academic community of Russia. The rubrication of the journal, gradually formed in the course of analysis by the editorial board of submitted copyright materials, reflects the most acute and global issues of this scientific direction. In November 2021, a significant event took place that opened a new milestone in the life of a twenty-year-old publication. The journal “Legal Linguistics” is included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications, which should publish the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Science, for the degree of Doctor of Science (VAK) in the following specialties: 5.1.1. Theoretical and historical legal sciences, 5.1.4. Criminal Law Sciences, 5.9.5. Russian language. Languages of the peoples of Russia, 5.9.8. Theoretical, applied and comparative linguistics. Information is provided on the subject “The World of the Language Being Learned”, which was the first step towards the introduction and development of the academic discipline “Intercultural Communication”, which still occupies its place in the curriculum of the faculty, unique training courses: “England and English”, “Italy and Italians”, “Russia and the Russians”. Information about the emergence of a new specialty in Russia “Linguistics and Intercultural Communication” and the first textbook “Language and Intercultural Communication”, which was repeatedly retaken and published in Georgian and Kazakh, are presented. The aim of the study is to analyze the images of cultural memory, interpreted as a poetological resource of V.G. Rudelev. The object of the study is the artistic structure of the lyrics of the “post” era. The material research method is based on an integrated approach that combines elements of cultural-historical, comparative-historical and poetological methods. In the course of a consistent consideration of the semantic and poetological content of representative lyrical texts by V.G. Rudelev, it is proved that the appeal to the artifacts of the past in the idiostyle of a particular author, which is characteristic of the linguoecology of the post-industrial era, does not necessarily indicate an ideological proximity to postmodernism. In the case of the lyrics of V.G. Rudelev, who captured the properties of the creative personality of a poet, scientist and university professor, the appeal to the precedent phenomena of humanitarian culture is dictated by the desire to promote confidence in human capabilities and thereby resist the ideologemes of postmodernity. The practical significance and prospects of the study lie in the possibility of using them for further development of the scientific concept of linguoecology of the “post” era, as well as by introducing the results obtained into the educational process, for conducting seminars on modern poetry.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68219007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We consider the role of intonation against the background of the development of emotional intelligence theory, theory of creative industries and computer network technologies. We reveal the significance of the musical nature of intonation from the point of view of the implementation of the functions of informing and influencing in oral speech broadcasting media communication. The scientific novelty of the study lies in a new approach to understanding intonation as a speech-musical means of influencing the emotionally oriented perception of information by the mass audience of radio listeners. The importance of intonation of oral informational news texts is proved from the point of view of their effectiveness in mass media broadcasting communication.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68219085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dostoevsky “Demons” (1872). The object of the study is the religious and confessional views of F.M. Dostoevsky in the aspect of the writer’s polemics with Catholicism and the papacy. The research methodology is based on the principles of comparative and contextual analysis. The interdisciplinary nature of the study is due to the appeal to theological, philosophical, religious-confessional and socio-political issues. The materials of the study were the text of the novel “Demons”, handwritten editions and draft notes to the novel, as well as external to F.M. Dostoevsky’s sources are historiosophical, polemical, historical literature, etc. In the course of an ideological content of “Demons” consistent review, the author identified three areas of anti-Catholic polemics implemented by the writer on the novel pages: anthropotheistic, Christological and socio-political. All three aspects are concentrated in the complex image of Nikolai Vsevolodovich Stavrogin – a demon, a man-god, an antichrist and novel world impostor. The motive of the worldwide Catholic conspiracy threatening Russia is displayed in the political constructions of Pyotr Stepanovich Verkhovensky. The practical significance of the results of the study lies in the possibility of their further use in a comprehensive study of F.M. Dostoevsky’s religious and historiosophical system of views, as well as by introducing the results obtained into the educational process for conducting seminars on the history of Russian literature.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68220104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sorokin’s creative method. An attempt to explain the writer’s creative nature leads to the idea of an internal contradiction that is characteristic of his work as a whole and is realized in each individual work. The point is that the writer’s creative declaration, reduced solely to a “linguistic experiment”, does not fit well with real practice, which leads to contradictions in the interpretation of his work in criticism. There are as if “two Sorokins”, one insists that his works are exclusively texts for exercises in “transgression”, the other creates dystopias perceived as works saturated with social meanings. V. Sorokin was originally “against literature”, but lives “at the expense” of literature and is interpreted by readers and researchers as literature of the highest level. He dissociates himself from “literary centrism”, but paradoxically becomes its epicenter. This study proves that this contradiction does not really require resolution, it is the “driving force” of the writer’s work, “organic” for the “Sorokin phenomenon”. The result is the creation of a “linguistic dystopia”. The problem is of undoubted relevance, the results of the analysis allow us to clarify important points in assessing the writer’s work.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135660944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Obtaining accurate and verified information about the events of reality is the constitutional right of every person, and the formation of an objective picture of the world and the explanation of the phenomena occurring is the most important function of the editorial office of each media. However, at present, the priority of the media is the formation (often imposition) of a certain public opinion that can distort the real situation both in the local and international context. 842 broadcasts of radio stations of different forms of ownership of Russia and Germany (three from each country) for the period from 17.01.2021 to 01.11.2022 were studied. On the example of four widely publicized Russian media events of a political nature, using the methods of content, plot-composition, lexico-stylistic and comparative analysis of radio broadcasts revealed the use of certain (even identical) manipulative techniques on both Russian and German radio stations. The leader in the regularity of the use of manipulative techniques was the state radio station “Vesti FM” (Russia) and “Deutschlandradio” (Germany), while correspondents of other radio stations studied by us presented information about events of interest to us on the air, as a rule, briefly, discreetly and only in a news format. The practice of regular use of manipulative techniques does not allow us to speak about the objective presentation of selected political media events by correspondents of some Russian and German radio stations. It seems that the current situation could contribute to the creation of an incomplete picture of the world among the audience of these radio stations. A conclusion has been reached that it is possible to minimize such cases only by continuing the activity of forming and developing a person’s critical thinking.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"158 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135660943","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
