The energy demand has increased hugely and need has risen to find solution to conserve it, save it and use it systematically. The utilization of energy especially at home is increasing and hence the overall usage of energy is also increased in domestic sector. This is a sector in which by using some simple methods or ways the improper usage and wastage of energy can be avoided by deploying smart circuitry in home without much additional infrastructure. This article represents the system to manage home energy and eventually to manage energy for the building. The main system component of proposed system is PLC based renewable energy gateway, communicating power supply (CPS) and a wireless sensor network (WSN). The desired output of MLI is synthesized in form of stepped waveforms with lower harmonics. Several conventional topologies have been anticipated to realize the MLI. The demerit of conventional MLIs is that it requires more number of components which in turn increase the complexity of gate pulse generation. As a result the overall cost of MLI will increase. To overcome these demerits, a hybrid topology is suggested in this paper. Compared to the conventional MLIs, the number of dc sources, power switching devices, converter cost and space required is considerably reduced with the increase in number of steps in output voltage. This paper includes the design and simulation of the hybrid converter with different types of PWM techniques. This hybrid converter is a combination of T-Type single phase inverter [6] and H-Bridge module with sub switches [8]. In this hybrid topology, Switching functions are improved in easy way. Operational principle is demonstrated with right figures and tables. High quality output voltage wave is obtained in simulation results. In recent years, there has been a rise in motorcycle accidents. One of the major reasons for fatalities in accidents is the motorcyclist not wearing a protective helmet. The most prevalent method for ensuring that motorcyclists wear helmet is traffic police manually monitoring motorcyclists at road junctions or through CCTV footage and penalizing those without helmet. But, it requires human intervention and efforts. This paper proposes an automated system for detecting motorcyclists not wearing helmet and retrieving their motorcycle number plates from CCTV footage video. The proposed system first does background subtraction from video to get moving objects. Then, moving objects are classified as motorcyclist or non-motorcyclist. For classified motorcyclist, head portion is located and it is classified as helmet or non-helmet. Finally, for identified motorcyclist without helmet, number plate of motorcycle is detected and the characters on it are extracted. The proposed system uses Convolutional Neural Networks trained using transfer learning on top of pre-trained model for classification which has helped in achieving greater accuracy. Among these the precise location and identification of building features is one of the key information sources for urban planning, population estimation, land analysis, and environmental surveying. Previously low resolution satellite images were useful to analyze the features of buildings. Now-a- days due to the advancement of the technologies in the field of remote sensing, high spatial resolution imagery becomes available which provides more potential to automatically detect buildings. However, the high resolution image data contain rich information in the spatial domain which does not necessarily increase accuracy of the feature extraction significantly. Therefore, recent advances in the high resolution image processing is focused on the geometrical, spectral, statistical, contextual, and structural information extraction from the image. In this paper a technique to detect and to extract geometric features of the buildings in urban area from very high resolution (VHR) image has been proposed. The geometric features such as area, perimeter, centroid, solidity, convex area, are extracted. In order to analyze the performance of extraction, various edge detection mechanisms such as Sobel, Prewitt, Robert, Canny are implemented using Matlab. The distribution generating systems for nonconventional and renewable energy producing sources increases gives the direction of coming generating systems. These electronics systems containing electronic based bidirectional converters as a network that interacts the electrochemical storage systems and DC voltage buses. Bidirectional converters involve energy transfers between two sources in both directions with in a single circuit. The proposed bidirectional quadratic converter is contained in four switches, two inductors, and a capacitor. The converter voltage gain is much greater than the conventional bidirectional buck-boost converter in both bucked and boosts modes of operation. The converter gives wide conversion range and it has reduced boosting or bucking ripple and the control circuitry is simple. Also an author created a map of area in an app called as heat mapper, specified Access points, after which the dead zones and range was analyzed. In order to design a ultra less power consuming, small delay ADC it force us to design a dynamic comparator to maximize power efficiency and speed. The main use of comparator in ADC be comparison of a given input continuous analog signal along with certain threshold signal to give a output signal depend on whether the analog signal is higher or lower than the threshold signal. Here paper designs a pre-amplifier based comparator utilizing cadence tool. In this proposed design the MOS transistor of length 180nm and width of 720nm and the power supply in the range 1.2V to 1.8V were used. Here the proposed deign has been implemented in various CMOS families using cadence virtuoso 180nm CMOS technology its performance has been simulated and compared to choose the best among them based on power consumption and delay. Bandwidth Squeezed restoration (BSR) approach maximizes restoration level with limited frequency slots (FSs) in each span. However, the power consumption is one of the great challenges in EONs. EONs with flexible bandwidth and spectrally efficient, are also major contributors in the power consumption. There is extremely large amount of data transmission in the network since network failure causes huge data loss. In order to achieve this high reliability requirement, network architectures are laid down with a large number of redundant resources taking into account the resource requirement for backup protection. These redundant resources are also major contributors to the power consumption. Shortest path routing (SPR) is generally considered in power saving strategies. This paper focuses on BSR using preconfigured cycles (p-cycles) in EONs with power conscious routing (PCR) against single link failure. An integer linear programming (ILP) model has been formulated to minimize power consumption. Minimization of power consumption is based on PCR by maximizing number of idle network resources into sleep mode. Numerical results indicate that the PCR is more power efficient than SPR during low traffic but at the cost of additional frequency slots (FSs). BSR provide the maximum restoration level with available FSs in each span after the occurrence of failure.
