These applications require high computational speed and are run on platforms that are size, weight and power constrained. With the transistor scaling coming to an end, existing digital hardware architectures will not be able to meet this increasing demand. Analog computation with its rich set of primitives and inherent parallel architecture can be faster, more efficient and compact for some of these applications. One such primitive is a memristor-CMOS crossbar array based vector matrix multiplication. In this paper, we develop a memristor-CMOS analog co-processor architecture that can handle floating point computation. The crossbar array is based on a $mathbf{TaO}_{mathbf{x}}$ memristor device. To demonstrate the working of the analog co-processor at a system level, we use a new tool developed by Cadence and Mathworks called PSpice Systems Option which performs integrated co-simulation of MATLAB/Simulink and PSpice. It is shown that the analog co-processor has a superior performance when compared to other processors. But to use the paper notices stacked on a notice board is a time taking and expensive process and there is wastage lot of time, paper and labour. The notice board is used to display the information in an effective way to the people, but to update the messages instantly is not easy on the notice board. In this paper we have proposed and implemented an advanced Hi-Tech wireless Notice Board. An Android application of smart phones or tablet which is connected to Bluetooth (HC-0S) can be used to display the latest information by enhancing the system. A low cost programmed microcontroller (arduino uno) is used at the receiver to receive and display messages in the LCD display. Instead of sticking notices manually on a notice board the authorized user can speak and the verbalized voice is sent through a Bluetooth and displayed on the LCD screen. In this project we are using a flexible and most successful speech recognize technique called as Hidden Markov Model(HMM) to recognize the speech for voice and then that recognized sampled speech voice are processed identified as a verbalized text done by connecting to a google's server via internet. Pseudo Random Number Generator(PRNG) produces the random numbers that rearranges the binary values. PRNG algorithm is unique and the strength of random numbers generated are equal to random numbers generated without a seed value. Each binary image pixel values are rearranged through three random number series and it is hidden in a grayscale image through Ultra Unique Numbers (UUN). By comparing both concealed image and original image, modification among the image is identified. To identify concealed secret binary information in a grayscale image at the destination, UUN is reapplied. PRNG is used to rearrange the binary values for transforming the binary images. The users can look around and browse books from the interactive library through a web browser, resulting in saving the time consumed for travelling. To detect a book of interest in the online library, our work focus on choosing an appropriate feature matching algorithm and further draw a boundary box on the book detected. The homes in retirement communities are built to cater to physiological needs of the elderly people. They are equipped with health care networks to monitor the health parameters of the residents continuously. The conventional health care networks in such retirement homes suffering a severe throughput degradation problem. Throughput degradation happens due to packet loss. The packets are lost mainly because of three factors-: 1. interference due to co-existing WiFi networks, 2. collisions due to deployment of many sensor nodes in the small geographical area, and 3. congestion due to large number of nodes transmitting data to the coordinator simultaneously. Interference, collision and congestion are parameters belong to three different layers of the Open System Interconnection (OSI) reference model. Most previous works to improve the throughput of health care networks have focused on controlling packet loss only in one of the layers. However, throughput degradation can be controlled effectively by controlling all the three parameters simultaneously. Reducing the packet loss in all the three layers simultaneously is very complex task and requires cross-layer approach. The Authors have developed an interlayer algorithm to reduce the packet loss simultaneously in all three layers. The proposed algorithm is implemented on IEEE 802.1S.4-based wireless sensor nodes. Experiments were conducted to analyze the performance of the algorithm.
