Mobile phones in addition to being used as communication devices, also act as sensors gathering data that can be leveraged by different applications. Using the acquired data, a plethora of health monitoring applications have been designed using mobile systems. In this paper we focus on different health monitoring applications and the challenges in designing and using them. Since energy is a vital resource for operation of cellular devices, optimal utilization of it is required for sustainability of the applications executing on the device. Specifically, we introduce algorithms for using optimal energy to sense data and transmit gathered data for mobile phones. This paper presents a novel design of 8T full adder. The 8T full adder is designed on basis of a new logic 3T XOR and 2:1 multiplexer, in total of 8T. Compared to other existing full adders of 10T, 14T. There is significant improvement in power consumption, delay and power-delay product. For a supply voltage of 1V the power obtained is 0.382pW, delay is 0.7932ps and a power-delay product is 0.303YJ. The analysis shows that the proposed circuit has ultra lowest power and power-delay product. The study is focusing on resultant thrust force. The nozzles are designed for Mach numbers 1.1, 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0. The CFD analysis is done by varying the area ratios and nozzle pressure ratios for all Mach numbers. The area ratios considered for the analysis are 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. The values of nozzle pressure ratios considered in the analysis are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. The results for different combinations of Mach number, area ratios and nozzle pressure ratios are compared with the help of tables. In the existing system, the PV Cell is normally connected in parallel with the Load or Grid. In such type of system the connected battery is charged while load run using the Cell. This makes the battery to be charged with less amount of current hence it doesn't get fully charged properly. Moreover, even though the power requirement is less at the load the current is unnecessarily consumed by the load, hence due to improper supply of current to the battery it doesn't get charged properly and so there is loss in the power and hence power doesn't get utilized properly. In the proposed Microcontroller based method, the load and battery are connected to the PV Cell through the relay. The Microcontroller senses the power requirement of the load and thereby manages the two PV Cells to get it connected to the load. At any particular time one relay (either relay1 or relay2) will through the connection to the load (as per the load requirement). Mean while the relay which is not providing power to the load will provide power to the battery to charge it. In this way one PV Cell is utilized for providing power to the load and other is utilized for providing power to the battery. In any case when power requirement at the load increases both the PV Cell can be utilized for providing power to the load, in this case the power to the battery will be less but this situation is only at the peak time which is not regular. Disability is affecting millions of families worldwide. It may be categorized into various forms such as disability related to speech, vision, hearing, locomotor. It has been found by the researchers that mainly females have higher rate of disability as compared to males, as the population is increasing day by day the disability is expected to increase. Polio is a type of locomotor disability which is incurable disease due to which the patients muscle becomes weak and they require a support for walking and moving. An orthotics or caliper is used to repair, support, immobilize a body part in order to help patients suffering from locomotor disability restore weight bearing capabilities to the affected legs and permit the patient to steer while risk of falls and additional fractures. The target of this paper is to grasp about the different kinds of caliper design made their design modification and the material being used nowadays. The current designs of calipers are made of Steel and Aluminum. Material should be chosen in such a way that it should be as light as possible in weight and density must lie between aluminum and stainless steel. Aluminum is lighter in weight than steel but it does not give needed stiffness for the caliper design. The design is done victimization CAD tools. A pilot example is formed in PVC and field tested to work out if the changes are often simply performed by the patient by matching its strength, ductility, hardness. Images are extensively used in communications on due of various facts. But image security in communication remains an essential aim. Coloration in images are originated by different color models, which are discussed with their actual potentials. In this paper, different image usage and protecting practices are discussed with their annoyances. There exists multiple protecting methods, in general called as encryption. In complex image encryption algorithms the logical operations such as ExOR, carries trivial but an essential part. While being a powerful operator, ExOR is also very less in terms of time and space complexity. In this paper, Textimage Ciphering algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm gives the finest probable combination of all discussed techniques. Also it has less time and space complexity which makes it more practicable. The suggested tactic is different from traditional protecting techniques, it advocates encoding of an image by transforming it in text form. The encoded text is then send and on receiver side, its first decoded then converted to image form which resemblance the original image. Large wind turbines has occupied respectable share in renewable energy market. Whereas, the small wind turbines are along the way of continuous progress in terms of various aspects. Development of small wind turbine parts is one of the significant focuses of some researchers. Wind turbine blades plays important role in conversion of kinetic energy of wind into mechanical energy. The light weight and efficient blade is always preferred by the designer because of many advantages. This work is focused on weight reduction of a one kilowatt wind turbine blade and hence the cost. In this paper four new blade models are proposed and analyzed with the stated objective to reduce weight and cost of the blades. The first three models consists of 3 mm Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic outer layers and core of low density Poly Vinyl Chloride foam, core of low density Balsa wood and low density fiber reinforced foam respectively. Fourth model consists of 0.5 mm carbon fiber, 2.5 mm GFRP and core of low density fiber reinforced foam. Finite element analysis of existing and proposed blades is carried out and results are analyzed. When the end user tries to access this data, the available variety of options make it a difficult task to choose amongst various products. In order to simplify this process, Recommender Systems were designed. In this paper, we have analyzed how these Recommender Systems came into existence, their functionalities and how this idea is shaping the world of data science. We analyzed few of the prominent techniques used, such as Content based, Collaborative and Hybrid recommendations. Tagging has become an important tool in Data Science, which can be used to collect implicit data of users and generate recommendations. The paper proposes such an approach which is motivated by observing that many effective recommendations can be generated by analyzing the tagging done by the users. Most of the work is based on the feedback from users having a tendency to use the tagging feature, mostly on social media platforms. The tag based recommendations are also generated by taking into consideration a pattern between users who use location-based services.
