There are instances where students are unaware of assignment deadlines and tests which lead to demeaning scores. To bridge this gap, Internet of Things (IOT) can be used to provide academic related information to students. This functionality would help in achieving the goal of zero verbal communication between student and teacher. The teacher can upload assignments and deadlines which will be retrieved by the mobile phone when the student comes in the range of the device. To accomplish this goal, we used Beacon technology which allows Mobile Applications to listen for signals from beacons in the physical world and react accordingly. Strategic and creative location-based technology implementation has great potential to decrease the hassles faced by a student. At the distribution level maintaining the bus voltage within the permissible limit is one of the major challenges for the distribution networks. The solution for voltage regulation close to output side usually requires manual and automatic tap changers (automatic assisted with motor) of transformer for constant output voltage and better voltage regulation which may result in high maintenance cost and uncontrolled output voltage level as mechanical switches are used. The traditional mechanical tap changing systems accompanies with undesirable characteristics like high maintenance cost and arcing, wear and tear of contacts resulting in inappropriate stability of system. In this paper implementation of TRIAC based on load tap changer topology is introduced. It is a prospective solution for the present and future power grid providing automatic voltage regulation. To overcome the drawback of the conventional tap changing system the implementation of power electronic assisted device (triac) is introduced. The proposed approach has primary tappings instead of secondary tappings to reduce switching losses and to get constant output voltages with faster switching response under several variations in voltage on the primary side. Triac based OLTC is having key advantages like arc quenching, faster response, no friction losses, improved life of contacts and significantly constant output voltage. This automates the act of carrying loads that benefit in tiring and exhaustive routines. After reviewing devices available to identify and maneuver behind target person in a crowd in real time and power requirement of them, we proposed our approach in which a carrier senses the ultrasonic waves sent by transmitter powered by piezo insole charged super-capacitor. By getting signals the carrier itself decides its path and follow without the use of internal maps and ability to self-localize. This solar energy rechargeable device has obstacle avoidance behavior to keep a safe distance behind its user. In this paper, a rectifier is used to obtain DC current from a piezo-crystal. Further, the charge produced is stored in a 5.5V 1F super-capacitor which powers the ultrasonic beacon. The various techniques suggested by different researchers are compared using standard MIT-BIH ECG data. The variation of Chaos, Fractals and Entropy of the EMG signal is represented for biceps muscle contraction under varying load to reveal the underlying system dynamics. Methods: The EMG signal is acquired through a developed EMG signal acquisition circuitry to obtain the time series for offline data analysis. We have used the tools of Non-Linear dynamics to calculate Fractal dimension, Chaos and Entropy. We have implemented some specific algorithms to obtain the optimum parameters required for successful estimation of Chaos, Fractal Dimension and Entropy of surface EMG signal during dynamic muscle contraction. Results: The presence of deterministic chaos was clearly evident in case of arm flexion with different loads. The complexity of the signal, as evident from the fractal dimension calculation, revealed enough information about the complexity associated during arm flexion condition. Further application of the Entropy estimate helped us to estimate the change in uncertainty or rate of information transfer with increased loading of muscles. Significance: Since the non-linear dynamics technique proves to be an efficient tool to address the changing dynamics associated with muscle contraction, it can help in quantitative assessment of muscular activity. In real life the solution of many problems comes in the form of Bessel function. Design of fast wave devices, like Gyrotron, requires zeros of the first derivatives of Bessel function of first kind. The Gyrotron is a high frequency, high power microwave device. It operates at higher transverse electric modes. The synthesis of higher operating mode Gyrotron requires zeros of Bessel function of first kind and its first derivative. Inthis paper an optimized algorithm to efficiently calculate the higher roots of any integer order Bessel function is discussed. Algorithm uses bisection method & property of Bessel function. To find roots, series form of Bessel function is used. Few optimization to this form was done while implemented in code & by applying Bessel function property algorithm proficiently calculate even higher roots of Bessel function of integer order within very less time. Huge amounts of personal data is being generated and collected each day during this process. Current business model of SNS involves in analysing this user generated data; displaying customized content and tailor made advertisements. Along with this, they may leverage on external revenue generating mechanisms as well. This gives rise to several data security and privacy concerns. Some of the litigations that SNS have been involved in recent years are a witness to it. Hence, there is an urgent need to define holistic privacy preserving regulations to curb this. Technically feasible solutions that empower users to protect their privacy are need of the hour. Solution should be robust and secure while providing scope for service providers to sustain and grow their business and revenue. Current work is a step towards achieving privacy preserving social networking. Proposed novel framework describes an architecture to provide users of service an option to securely opt-out of sharing personal data with SNS, there by avoiding being targets of behavioral advertising; yet ensuring revenue generation for SNS. Existing technology used for enabling the blind or visually impaired to use the internet or any digital form of information is dependent on Braille displays and keyboards which are expensive and scarce. Another shortcoming of existing technology is that out of all the visually impaired population, less than 2% know how to interpret Braille. Hence a voice controlled system for the blind and the visually impaired was designed, which transceives information in the form of audio. Color picture encryption scheme proposed is headquartered on RPFrDCT and pertaining to space and disordered mapping. The authentic-valued output, the nonlinear manipulation, the excessive sensitiveness and immoderate robustness to the cipher keys are the main advantages of this scheme. From the experimental outputs we can show that the proposed encryption scheme is feasible and mighty.
