Abstract
This paper present a computer aided design for the underground power cable network. This can be help for finding the ampacity of cable which is based on many parameters such as cable conductor cross-section area, ambient temperature, Soil thermal resistivity, depth of burial, type of duct bank material, conduit material, type of cable installation etc. Moreover this paper examines several commonly used method and their assumptions.
