Of course, there must be an assessment in learning to see if the results taught from the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor perspectives were achieved. The goal of this research was to learn more about how physical education learning outcomes were assessed in schools for students with intellectual disabilities in Semarang. The research method used was descriptive. This method aims to describe the events and circumstances that occurred. The research approach used was qualitative. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informant for this study was a Semarang-based special school teacher (SLB) who teaches physical education classes. The findings revealed that teachers had difficulty making assessments for mentally retarded students even though the assessment was still conducted as it should. It was determined that the teacher conducted a cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessment of physical education learning and modified the assessment indicators to find appropriate standards. Meanwhile, the assessment was carried out based on the students' abilities.","PeriodicalId":34307,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Innovation in Educational and Cultural Research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47255462","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to describe a multicultural approach in learning religious education in conflict-prone zones. Through exercising Garfinkel’s ethnomethodology analysis, this qualitative research was conducted at SMAN 2 Pasaman and SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo senior high schools within conflict-prone zones of West Pasaman, West Sumatra. The dynamics of school philosophy towards inclusive multicultural approaches in religious education for schools in conflict-prone zones indicated that academic culture within said schools must be capable of creating a more harmonious atmosphere among ethnic diversities, mainly that of Javanese, Minangkabaunese, and Bataknese. The application of multicultural approaches in religious education for such schools in conflict-prone zones showed that the planning, implementation, and evaluation of religious education must be carried out while simultaneously considering the diversity of these ethnicities. The employment of an inclusive multicultural approach in association with schools in conflict-prone zones showed that the school’s physical environment is strategic for the interaction of various ethnicities, such as with Javanese, Minang, and Batak ethnicities at SMAN 2 Pasaman and SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo. This research is useful as input in making and improving policies by schools and the government regarding the implementation of religious education with a multicultural approach in conflict-prone zone schools.","PeriodicalId":34307,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Innovation in Educational and Cultural Research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45834925","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Challenges in fostering students' prosocial behavior as barriers for teachers to pay attention to students, difficulties among teachers and parents in instilling prosocial behavior, students act against social behavior at school because they imitate the behavior of adults outside of school. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The data measurement tool is a questionnaire in the form of a scale developed based on indicators of prosocial behavior. The research population was all high-class students at SDN Sentol Laok, Sumenep Regency, totaling 84 students. Based on the examination results, the prosocial behavior in students is helping, being generous, sharing, acting honestly, and working together. Students show this according to student practice both inside and outside the classroom. Efforts made by teachers in instilling prosocial behavior in students are generating, showing, enforcing rules and social activities. Inspiring is the main effort in instilling and fostering students' prosocial behavior. While students' prosocial behavior is included in the moderate category with an average value of 1.89, students can display and demonstrate their prosocial behavior. The results showed that male adolescents had higher prosocial behavior than female adolescents due to differences in physical and psychological factors such as effective differences, cognitive differences, parenting factors, and age.","PeriodicalId":34307,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Innovation in Educational and Cultural Research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45347914","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it still targets the achievement of 21st-century skills, namely scientific literacy competencies. Scientific literacy is needed as a skill that can answer the demands of the 21st-century era, as a problem solver that is competitive, innovative, creative, collaborative, and has character. This research method uses Research and Development (R D), which refers to Borg and Gall’s development model. The instrument used in this study was an expert validation sheet filled in by a validator which was useful for knowing whether it was feasible or not to develop. Students are given ten descriptive questions on a 1-4 Likert scale to determine the effect of teaching materials on scientific literacy. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. Expert validation resulted in an average percentage of 87% on material, presentation, language, and legibility aspects. For the validation of chemistry educators, the mean score of CVI for the language aspect and legibility is 0.80; the material aspect is 0.86; for the presentation, aspect is 0.84. This means that based on chemistry experts and educators, the criteria for SSI-based petroleum materials integrated with the eLSMAWAR website are appropriate/valid and very suitable for use. The scientific literacy test results obtained an N-Gain of 0.66, which means that the SSI-based teaching materials integrated with the eLSMAWAR website are quite effective in improving students’ scientific literacy. The research concludes that the teaching material based on Socioscientific Issue (SSI) integrated with the eLSMAWAR website on students’ scientific literacy with three indicators of scientific literacy is following the demands of the implementation of 21st-century skills.","PeriodicalId":34307,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Innovation in Educational and Cultural Research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46008471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By capturing participants’ self-reflections in their teaching practicum experiences, this study aims to explore the nature of student-teacher individual reflection throughout their teaching experience in the teaching practicum. Narrative data garnered through multiple semi-structured interviews had been scheduled for 30-60 minutes per interview session. The interview-derived narrative data analysed by using IPA (interpretative phenomenological analysis) and CDA (critical discourse analysis). These analytical frameworks were to explore the longitudinal nature dimensions of three pre-service English teachers during their teaching practicum experiences. The finding of this study indicated that most of the reflections created the participants awareness that learning environments, teacher ability and creativity, managing the time and classroom have pivotal role in teaching process. Drawing on this, the practical implication of the study is that teachers not only develop their professionalism, but they must also develop skills, creativity, and understand what students need during a teaching practicum.","PeriodicalId":34307,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Innovation in Educational and Cultural Research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46096257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
