The computational approach is based on the non-equilibrium Green's function formalism. The tunneling FET mechanism of the proposed device is only ensured by the electrostatic gating while keeping the junctionless aspect. Moreover, the simulations have shown that the proposed JL GNRTFET can exhibit an improvement in terms of subthreshold swing, off-current, and current ratio in comparison to the conventional GNRTFET. The obtained results make the proposed junctionless GNRTFET a promising candidate for the futuristic nanoelectronics.","PeriodicalId":342516,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Design & Test of Integrated Micro & Nano-Systems (DTS)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123046346","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several techniques were proposed for robot localization. They use either complex computing methods (like kalman filter) or expensive sensors (like 3D laser) or both. For all these techniques, embedded implementations are barely discussed. In this paper, we present an enhanced low cost localization technique and focus on its parallelization on an embedded System on Chip to satisfy real time constraints.","PeriodicalId":342516,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Design & Test of Integrated Micro & Nano-Systems (DTS)","volume":"201 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133424509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach mainly consists of two steps: firstly, a surrogate model is constructed and validated on the basis of an established database, then, the model is used as performance evaluator within a metaheuristic-based optimization routine. We consider a multifunction filter formed by three current conveyors (CCs), three discrete resistors and two discrete capacitors. AD 844 IC forms the CCs, and the IEC60063 lists of preferred values are used for the parameters' values of the passive components. This configuration simultaneousely realizes three kinds of filtering: low-pass, bandpass and high-pass. For each filter two performances are taken into consideration, namely, the cutoff frequency and the quality factor. Once validated, the constructed models are used as performance evaluators within a metaheuristic-based optimization algorithm to optimize the circuits' performances. Spice simulation results are provided to show viability of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":342516,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Design & Test of Integrated Micro & Nano-Systems (DTS)","volume":"2004 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125828344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The ZnTPP film was deposited by a spin-coating on glass substrate with pre-deposition of silver interdigital electrodes. The performance of the porphyrin humidity sensor was analysed through electrical resistance and conductance measurements at various humidity level. It was observed that the change in resistance at 20 Hz is about 816 times with increasing the relative humidity from 0% to 98% at 25°C. The response and recovery time of the sensor were about 80 and 130 s, respectively.","PeriodicalId":342516,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Design & Test of Integrated Micro & Nano-Systems (DTS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129921886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This proposition, which is expected to be finalized by the end of 2020, is designed to address high-resolution 8k video applications and emerging applications such as 360-degree omnidirectional and High Dynamic Range (HDR) videos. The new proposition comes with different improvements, especially for the intra prediction module. An increased set of angular modes IPM (Intra Prediction Modes) was proposed to model angular textures more accurately. In addition, a new partition structure called Quadtree plus Binary Tree (QTBT) replaced the quadtree structure. These enhancements aiming at increasing the coding efficiency have led to burden coding complexity particularly in terms of coding time. In this paper, a fast intra prediction mode decision algorithm was proposed for the different QTBT binary depths. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method, which allows a complexity reduction of 56.32% with a negligible loss in video quality of −0.02 dB on average and a bite rate increase between 1% and 3%.","PeriodicalId":342516,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Design & Test of Integrated Micro & Nano-Systems (DTS)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121542115","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With billions of data being transmitted through the IoT nodes, the specifications instruct an ultra-low power design with secure communication.
