This will cause distribution costs to be increased. Therefore, the company decided to build a new warehouse to increase the efficiency of distribution costs. This new warehouse will use two storage systems, which are racking system and floor storage, so it needs to design a good layout so that the space provided can be used effectively and efficiently. A dedicated storage policy is used to make workers easier to find products so that the time of product retrieval is faster. Another thing to consider is the proper allocation of products because this can affect the total distance of product movement which can also affect the time of product retrieval. In this study, multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) will be used to determine which product will be the main priority to be placed near the inbound/outbound (I/O). The MCDM method that be used is the weighted product where the use of this method considers several criteria such as demand, weight, and storage capacity. Furthermore, several alternative storage layout designs were made by considering the total displacement distance, land area, and even distribution of aisle usage. After that, the supporting facilities needed for warehousing activities from receiving to shipping the product are arranged using activity relationship chart (ARC).","PeriodicalId":34167,"journal":{"name":"OPSI","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47387361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Other distraction factors that can cause traffic accidents is the use of cell phones. This experiment was conducted to prove this by using a driving simulator. The experimental design will be divided into 3 stages, starting from stage 1 (easy), stage 2 (moderate), and stage 3 (difficult). This study was measured using subjective measurements using the Karolinska Sleepiness Scale (KSS) method, and objective measurement by measuring heart rate (bpm), and recording driving error data. The data collected will be processed using the Two Way Anova method to find the influencing factors. The results of the test based on subjective data there are differences in stage 3 where respondents are more awake. Meanwhile, based on objective data on heart rate measurements, there are differences between the pretest stage with stages 2 and 3. If based on driving errors, stage 1 is different from stages 2 and 3. Based on the results of data processing, it is obtained that road conditions that have a high density can increase driver alertness, then the use of mobile phones has a major influence on the occurrence of driving","PeriodicalId":34167,"journal":{"name":"OPSI","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69282360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the facility tools used is a disamatic machine which is a machine that produces shoulder components for railway tools. This machine is an old machine, so that problems that arose on the production floor were often caused by the cessation of the process on the production floor due to machines stuck, machines damaged, or machines not running properly so that it can reduce the machines productivity. The method used in analyzing this problem is by calculating the value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Six Big Losses to identify the performance of industrial machines. The results showed the OEE value owned by PT. XYZ is 61.94%. This value is still below the standard value set by Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM), which is 85%. The factor which influenced the lower OEE value was the low-efficiency performance, which is 68.29%. Based on the Six Big Losses calculation, the most dominant loss causing a decrease in machine effectiveness was reduce speed losses, which is 42.38%. This factor was analysed by Pareto and fishbone diagram. The result of this research can be useful for the company to increase their productivity which will increase their profits.","PeriodicalId":34167,"journal":{"name":"OPSI","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49487290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More than half of total start-ups in Indonesia can ’ t survive the crisis caused by Covid-19 pandemic. This requires the organization to be able to develop its ability to survive. The answer to this challenge is organization resilience. Organizational resilience can anticipate potential threats, respond to unexpected events, and achieve sustainable growth. Through a recent literature study related to theory and conceptualization of organizational resilience, as well as considering contextual factors adapted to organizations, especially startup, this research succeeded in developing a theoretical model related to organizational resilience. The framework is built on three variables, namely organization resilience as the dependent variable, knowledge management as independent variable, and organization innovativeness as intervening variable, with 11 sub-variables, and four hypotheses. Furthermore, this framework can be an initial picture and insight for Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of startup, to navigate organizations in dynamic environments, crisis situations, or in the midst of today's global competition.","PeriodicalId":34167,"journal":{"name":"OPSI","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48403965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, failure in product development projects is still high. One of the possible key factors of a successful product development project is work motivation. Another factor that is suspected to affect is the complexity of the project. Therefore, this study aims to find the effect of work motivation and project complexity on product development project performance. The research was conducted on 94 members of product development project team in Indonesian automotive manufacturing industry with a minor change scale using purposive sampling. Data was collected through online questionnaire with a response rate of 65.7% and then analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results of the study showed that project complexity had a positive effect on work motivation and otherwise on project performance. On the other hand, it turns out that work motivation is not proven to affect the performance of product development projects in the automotive manufacturing industry in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":34167,"journal":{"name":"OPSI","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49424887","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number of competitors in the market requires the packaged beverage industry to implement the right strategy to win the competition. One strategy that can be applied is to make savings and maximize the use of company resources. One of the savings that can be done is to minimize production costs, while maximizing the use of resources can be done by maximizing the utility of the machine owned by the company. Efforts to minimize production costs can be contradictory to efforts to maximize machine utility, this is because maximizing machine utility will certainly require additional production costs, even though the company also wants to minimize production costs. This is included in the category of multi-criteria decision-making problems. To facilitate the company's management in achieving these contradictory company goals, this study will develop a multi-criteria decision-making model to assist companies in making optimal decisions regarding these contradictory company goals. The multi-criteria decision-making model developed is a mathematical model consisting of two mutually contradictory objective functions, namely minimizing production costs and maximizing machine utility, as well as problem constraints which are limitations that are owned by the company in optimizing the achievement of these contradictory company goals. To optimize the multi-criteria decision-making model that has been developed, it will use the global criterion method. The global criterion method will produce a compromise solution that has a minimum deviation from the ideal value of each objective function. Using the global criterion method, a production plan that minimizes production costs and maximizes machine utility is obtained. The multi-criteria decision-making model developed will cause the production plan to have a small deviation from the actual demand, because the model development involves forecasting product demand. The developed model will also produce a production plan that will not exceed the warehouse capacity, so that product storage costs can be minimized, this is because the developed model includes warehouse capacity as a barrier.","PeriodicalId":34167,"journal":{"name":"OPSI","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69282302","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
