Based on that problem, this study aims to describe (a) the power of male patriarchal necrophilia over women; and (b) the attitude of women as an effort to free themselves from the necrophiliac power of men. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive content analysis techniques. The research findings show two things. First, the poems \"Nikah Sungai\" dan \"Nikah Pisau\" reflect men's efforts to destroy women's natural reproductive abilities using the power of necrophilia through manipulating various natural resources such as plants, rocks, sand, animal carcasses, soil, and poison as weapons. Second, the attitude of women's resistance to the power of male necrophilia which is reflected by Dorothea in her two poems is manifested in acts of physical violence such as stabbing the heart and tearing the male genitalia.","PeriodicalId":33926,"journal":{"name":"Diglosia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43052213","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study is a qualitative study in which researchers serve as research tools. The research data collocates with the word 'lu' processed using the Sketch Engine Tool. The hate speech corpus was compiled from Rachel Vennya's Instagram comments from 2020 to 2022. The Instagram Comments Scraper tool was used to capture these comments. The total number of utterances is 4,865, with 22,986 words. The word 'lu' appears in 88 different speech patterns in Instagram comments. The collocation analysis also reveals differences in the proclivity to utilize terms in R1 and L1. Apart from 'dakjal' vs 'setan' and 'kya' vs 'kek,' there was also a proclivity to use other words with similar meanings. One example is the colloquial R1 for the word 'anjing' in the (n+lu) pattern. Then, at 48%, directive speech acts dominated the rise of hate speech, followed by expressive speech acts at 33% and assertive speech acts at 19%.","PeriodicalId":33926,"journal":{"name":"Diglosia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48392671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research found was limited to analysis in the form of verbal text, without visual material. This study is needed in the field of linguistics, especially forensic linguistics. To respond to these conditions, a study is needed that can assist efforts to examine language data academically in linguistics. This study aims to discuss the relationship between verbal and visual modes in Twitter posts that are considered to contain sexual harassment. The method used in this study was qualitative methods with two data collection techniques, namely listening and recording. The data in this study is in the form of screenshots of uploads sourced from Twitter with indications of sexual harassment. The analytical tool used in this study is Halliday's SFL theory to analyze verbal modes and Kress &Van Leeuwen's visual grammar theory to analyze visual modes. The results showed that the verbal and visual modes in the upload become a unity of elements that build meaning. Both work together to convey a related message, namely the existence of sexual harassment. The analysis and results of this study are expected to be a reference in forensic linguistic studies.","PeriodicalId":33926,"journal":{"name":"Diglosia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42333756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The cognitive process dimension is divided into six levels with two categories, namely lower order thinking skills and higher order thinking skills. The method used in this research is qualitative by using textual analysis. The results of the research in the book are that the enrichment questions do not yet contain all levels of cognitive process dimensions because there are no questions at the C5 - Evaluation level. However, there are still questions with other higher order thinking skills categories, namely levels C4 - Analysis and C6 - Creating. The enrichment questions are still dominated by the level C2 - Understanding which is a category of lower order thinking skills. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the book does not contain enrichment questions with the level of dimensions of cognitive processes that are included in the category of higher order thinking skills optimally. This can have an impact on the lack of sharpening of students' critical thinking skills.","PeriodicalId":33926,"journal":{"name":"Diglosia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49291203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
