On the other hand, creativity, innovation and job creation in the university are vital matters, and can create business in different fields through offering unique and creative ideas; and, rescue the society from the economic and social issues and difficulties. As creativity and innovation are similar and are in close ties, in the same token, the basic categories which play roles in the creativity, innovation and job creation, are naturally similar and in alignment. The university campus atmosphere, the educational environment, creative professors, better curriculum and education area, education managers, research methodology and educational goals, national strategy in job creation, determining financial budgeting for the job services, relationship of students with the work market and skill education, all are the key factors in developing creative and innovative ideas, and contribution to job creation; however, due to lack of conformity between the education system and the work market demand, the unemployment of university graduates poses as one of the biggest economic and social problems in Afghanistan.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"9 9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135925863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its production appears very interesting and challenging. Apparently, selecting the right suit jacket for good grooming sometimes seems difficult and, if care is not taken, one may end up opting for wrong size. In some occasions, the choice of lapel type in conformity with an individual’s figure type may create some kind of pandemonium. The study seeks to bring to limelight major issues involving the selection of perfect suit jacket. The specific objectives were to identify the materials for making suit, examine the factors that contribute to perfect suit production and identify some common problems associated with suit construction and selection. The qualitative research design was employed to conduct an in-depth analysis of the core components of a well-tailored suit jacket. Research instruments such as observation and photography were used for the required data of the study. The findings revealed that choosing the perfect suit for good grooming can be challenging since the embodiment of suit jacket involves several technical issues. Again, the vital parts of suit jacket such collar, lapel, shoulders, sleeve and body measurements equally contribute to good fit.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136236823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research offers an in-depth exploration of these challenges, drawing insights from a vast array of sources, such as articles, books, films, documentaries, websites, reports, resolutions, and famous stories. In order to provide valuable insights into building resilience and fostering supportive environments, the study simultaneously examines the coping mechanisms and strategies employed by the infected, as depicted in the literature used therein. The example of Miha, a young woman who faced societal biases despite her achievements, serves as a poignant reminder of the many sad narratives behind the statistics. This paper ultimately emphasizes the urgent need for continued efforts in awareness, education, and advocacy of combating HIV/AIDS-related stigma and discrimination, and culminates in a call for collective action, empathy, and a shared vision of an inclusive world.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135108002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, the current study's objective is to assess the level of writing competency of tertiary EFL students in terms of the key writing components and to provide some recommendations for EFL teachers, syllabus writers, and material designers. This study is qualitative in nature that collected 49 narrative essays from 49 tertiary students. The participants comprised both English and non-English majors from seven private and public universities in Bangladesh. The data were generated from English writing tests where students wrote one narrative essay. The texts were then analyzed on the basis of the analytic writing rubrics proposed by Jacobs et al. (1981) to see students’ writing ability in general. The findings of the analysis indicate that Bangladeshi tertiary EFL learners’ proficiency in all the major components falls in the category of Fair to Poor. The findings also indicate that the most challenging writing skills for the learners are the use of language and the use of vocabulary. The study concludes with some pedagogical suggestions for tertiary EFL teachers, syllabus designers, and material designers. This study stands out as unique and important since little research has previously attempted to evaluate the writing proficiency levels of Bangladeshi tertiary students under the key writing components.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135205948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The responsibility for executing extensive construction projects and providing essential medical and educational services rests squarely on the shoulders of the government. Meeting these obligations demands a substantial budget allocation. However, challenges can emerge, potentially leading to a budget deficit. Such shortfalls might arise due to a failure to achieve projected revenues, escalated expenditures, or a combination of both. This article endeavors to deeply examine the intricate interplay of diverse factors that contribute to such fiscal gaps, with a specific focus on Afghanistan. The central inquiry revolves around comprehending and delineating the complex relationships among key variables, notably subsidies, inflation rates, tax revenues, income from natural resources, government expenditures, economic growth trajectories, instances of conflict, electoral processes, unemployment rates, and demographic trends. The rationale for singling out and scrutinizing these particular variables draws from a fusion of economic theories, including the Keynesian framework, optimal finance theory, random loan theory, and general choice theory. In this current study, the concept of a budget deficit assumes the role of the dependent variable within the analytical model. It is operationally defined as the disparity between the government's overall expenditures and its generated revenues. Through a comprehensive exploration of the multifaceted connections among the aforementioned variables, this research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the intricate dynamics that influence the equilibrium of budgets and the fiscal stability within government operations. To assess the impact of these factors, the period from 2014 to 2023 underwent rigorous statistical analysis. Utilizing the ordinary least squares method, we aimed to scrutinize how these variables interacted with the budget deficit. The findings from this comprehensive study unveil a noteworthy pattern: revenues from natural resources and taxes, in conjunction with economic growth, exhibit an adverse correlation with the budget deficit. Conversely, government subsidies and general expenditures display a tendency to elevate the budget deficit within the government's fiscal framework.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135484769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Limited awareness of eco-friendly practices worsens these problems, necessitating a study on people's attitudes toward the environment. Additionally, Afghanistan is susceptible to climate change's adverse effects, including more frequent floods and droughts. Research can identify effective strategies to combat climate change through green practices, benefiting public health and the economy for a sustainable future. This research, grounded in the theory of planned behavior, examines the influence of green products and environmental awareness on consumers' eco-friendly purchasing habits. It also explores how environmental concerns impact the relationship between green products, awareness, and purchasing behavior. Statistical tools like regression, correlation, and variance inflation tests were employed to analyze data from 249 respondents using SPSS, confirming that green products play a pivotal role in shaping consumers' eco-friendly purchases. The study contributes in three significant ways: firstly, it bridges a gap in the literature by connecting environmental awareness, green products, and consumer behavior. Secondly, it empirically introduces environmental concerns as a contextual or moderating variable. Lastly, the study offers a unique perspective by focusing on Afghanistan. Practitioners can find valuable insights in this research, highlighting the importance of green awareness, environmental concerns, and eco-friendly consumer behavior.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135484588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cyberbullying is the use of technology to intimidate and harass students. This kind of bullying occurs on the internet and causes students to suffer from depression, low self-esteem and intellectually marginalized in the language classroom. This paper makes provision for the general populace to appreciate the prevalence rate, the effect and provide innovative ways to remedy cyberbullying while encouraging the responsible use of technological tools. A cross-sectional study including a sample of 100 participants (from level 100) aged 19 to 25 years was used in this study. The study focused on tertiary students, aged 19-25 years old, since previous research have indicated that this age group is more likely to be involved in cyberbullying and victimization in higher learning environments. Consent of the students was obtained and responses to the various items were treated with confidentiality. The participating schools were randomly selected from a list of all of the public tertiary schools in the northern zone and displayed different socioeconomic backgrounds. Results indicated that cyberbullying was associated with academic problems, low self -esteem and depression among tertiary students. Evidence -based bullying prevention programs such as education and parental involvement are good ways to reduce the incidences of cyberbullying in the future. More research is needed to effectively design a successful, targeted prevention program suitable for students in tertiary institutions and players in the language classroom.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136024029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a communicative strategy that allows speakers to soften or regulate the assertiveness of their words. It stems from various characteristics such as uncertainty, doubt, tentativeness. ambiguity, neutrality, mitigation, and subjectivity. Hedging is routinely used in most talks to make statements acceptable to listeners.
 The current study aims at comparing and analyzing the frequency, types, and purposes of hedges in Tikrit dialect. The study tries to solve the main problem is that there is no research that links the use of hedges with the dialect as a social characteristic. This study is an attempt to fill that gap.
 The accurate study tries to hypothesize that hedging devices in Tikrit dialect are difficult to be translated into English. And the translators keep the grammatical structure of the hedging devices in the SLTS when translating them into their equivalent TLTs. And hedging devices in Tikrit dialect have the same functions in English.
 The data selected for the study consists of twenty-three samples taken randomly from 200 typed Tikrit dialect conversations which contain hedging devices. These conversations are of different contexts. Some of them are family conversations, others are street conversations and some others are café conversations. They all share the common feature of being informal.
 The method of translation (whether covert or overt) used by the translators is going to be figured out. At last, a table for each device is given to summarize the analysis and a proposed translation is offered. Then findings are drawn statistically.
 The study also draws some key conclusions, the most important of which are that both Arabic and English use hedging devices to show the meaning of hedging devices, and interpreters struggle to render Arabic hedging devices into English. The fundamental cause of these devices' poor representation is their similarity in use. Because they have no experience with this form of translation, the translators do not look for viable counterparts for these devices. As a result, they attempt to avoid utilizing hedging devices whenever possible. and as a result, interpreters are generally weak at applying hedging devices.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136072004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
