On the other hand, western culture is considered as one of the contemporary yet most advanced cultures that is influencing various other cultures across the globe. In this world of technological advancement, intermixing of various cultures is not new. Infact, it helps one adopt the positives of multiple cultures. But sometimes it becomes slightly far-fetched when one starts comparing and disregarding their own culture. A similar situation can be observed in India. Many complain about the influence of western culture over Indians to a great extent, especially in the 21st century, based on what is visible. But one needs to understand that it is just the tip of an iceberg, a superficial observation. The influence of any situation is determined by its impact on the psychology of a person. The following research conducted gives a deeper insight on the same. Roots are the beliefs, and customs of the family and culture that are carried on from generation to generation. Some rituals considered as ancient superstitions turn out to have actual benefits. For generations things were handed down from Father to Son, and Mother to Daughter. Hence, parents wish for their kids to be grounded to their cultural/familial roots. Though the changes are prevalent in various domains, such as political, social, economic, industrial and technological, the new generation still stick to their roots and prefer living in a joint family while celebrating Indian culture compared to western culture.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136279787","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Today, many societies pride themselves on having made considerable strides towards egalitarianism. However, even the most egalitarian societies admit that gaps still exist. Developing countries are also on course to achieving gender equality. A case study of Bangladesh presented in this research reckons that Bangladesh is a global example. This research aimed to establish the feminist perspective on issues of gender equality and empowerment, divorce, and gender competition. To achieve these objectives, the selected methodology comprised two case studies, one for Bangladesh and another for the UK, which served the purpose of making comparisons. The findings indicate that Bangladesh has made significant progress but lags behind many egalitarian Western societies. Bangladesh’s efforts to achieve equality and empowerment have also caused divorce rates to rise, unlike in the UK. Lastly, gender competition fails to explain the remaining gender gaps.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136280494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Trying to adapt, maintaining good grades, planning for the future, and managing many things (extra co-curricular activities, sports, etc) often cause stress for many children. Students typically experience the stress of syllabus, high levels of competitive situations, and their failure to manage with the high expectations. Miscommunication and non-communication of parents often add to and create more burden on the already stressed-out children. The present paper reviews already existing research on the effect of communication strategies on reducing stress in school children.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"35 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139331846","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it has only been lightly addressed in recent literature. Today, office politics adopts a negative notion, which causes some individuals to believe that it is possible to avoid office politics. However, the fact that office politics affect even those not involved means that it is in everyone’s interest to address the problem and develop practical solutions. Few studies have linked politics to other concepts, including organizational commitment and employee engagement. This research has filled this gap by examining the impacts of office politics on organizational commitment and employee engagement. The findings lead to the conclusion that office politics are often associated with negative organizational outcomes associated with commitment and engagement. Higher levels of Positive office politics reduce engagement and commitment. Even though there are instances of positive outcomes, such rare instances may be caused by contextual and mediating factors, including job meaningfulness and personality.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136279654","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Effectively managing and controlling these factors necessitates the implementation of strategic measures. Specifically, the reduction of wastage emerges as a key approach to conserving time, cost, and quality. Achieving this goal hinges on the optimal utilization of organizational resources, which entails precise planning, allocation, monitoring, and control. While various methods for planning and resource tracking exist across organizations, this study focuses on strategies employed within the manufacturing industry. These strategies have demonstrated greater efficiency compared to traditional methods. Moreover, the study proposes the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology to address this challenge effectively. The research recommends the use of IoT technology as a comprehensive solution. Prior studies have often utilized the JIT method solely for resource utilization or TPM method solely for resource management. In contrast, this research advocates for the individual application of these methods to plan each resource meticulously. Specifically, the JIT method is proposed for material utilization, the TPM method for equipment utilization, and the Kaizen method for labor allocation. Furthermore, it emphasizes the integration of IoT with these lean methods. While some researchers have explored IoT, they have not fully integrated it with lean methods and techniques. The synergy of lean production methods and IoT technology offers an ideal opportunity for optimizing the utilization of organizational resources. Through these techniques, organizational resources can be efficiently planned and allocated to the production process. IoT provides valuable tools such as sensors, which can be installed at various resources, facilitating real-time data transmission to managers. This enables remote monitoring from office settings and timely data acquisition, thus addressing the challenge of optimal organizational resource utilization effectively.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135032284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, recent developments in China challenge this assumption, as they raise questions about why certain regions, despite having limited financial resources, are selected as pilot areas for \"treatment first\" reforms, and why some of these less affluent regions demonstrate superior implementation of specific pilot measures compared to their wealthier counterparts in the eastern regions. This article introduces a comprehensive theoretical framework for understanding the innovation in public service management, positing a three-pronged approach that considers the interplay of finance, supply-side factors, and demand-side dynamics. It argues that the innovation in public service management within a given region is the result of a complex interaction among these three key elements. Drawing on empirical data, this article conducts a comparative analysis of the factors influencing \"treatment first\" reforms in four distinct regions of China: Wuhan, Shanxi, Chongqing, and Hunan. By exploring the unique dynamics at play in each of these regions, the study sheds light on the nuanced relationship between finance, public service supply, and demand. Additionally, it elucidates how these factors jointly determine the success and trajectory of public service management innovation in different locales, challenging conventional wisdom and providing valuable insights into the contemporary governance landscape in China.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135426031","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Prophet Muhammad was targeted to discredit him as 'false' Prophet and and 'ambitious' leader. The Images of sexual potency and debauchery was first addressed to Muhammad, and then trasferred to 'Turks', Arabs and 'Moors'. The continuity of the very images hinder any sincere attempts at mutual understanding. These conceptions are reiterated and reproduced in political discourses and campaigns. They have a negative influence how Islam and Msulisms are conceived and treated. The Jewel of Medina was publsihed in 2008 as a feminist Orientalist attempt to represent and reinterpret early Islamic society and history. The article primarily exposes resilient contemporary misconceptions, images and (mis)representations of Muhammad and Muslims as sexually pervert, cruel, despotic and oppressive. Accordingly, the ‘Orient’ has been widely construed as a luxurious space full of excess. Through reviewing and reconsidering the images and conceptions that were disseminated in European literatures and narratives on Islam and the ‘Orient’ for centuries, the article shows how these very images and depictions are reiterated time and again and consolidated in the Post-Semptember 11th American context and writings.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135427140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since 2016, under the leadership of Tsai Ing-wen, Taiwan's New Southbound Policy (NSP) has presented fresh opportunities for enhancing its collaborative ties with target nations. This initiative reflects Taiwan's aspirations to establish a reputable presence and effectively project its influence within the region, thereby showcasing its capabilities on an international level. From the perspective of soft power, the NSP is regarded as an important endeavor undertaken by the Tsai government to strengthen Taiwan's worldwide presence and promote its ideals at both regional and global levels. In addition to the initial accomplishments attained subsequent to the implementation of the policy, Taiwan is confronted with numerous challenges that necessitate the government to engage in strategic calculations in order to strike a balance between its interests and the policy’s objectives.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135817306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both boys and girls are affected by child marriage, which takes away their childhood. Relationships involving a child under the age of eighteen occur worldwide, although, for the most part, they are found in South Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Early relationships not only force young girls to accept their domestic and intimate jobs during adolescence but also set them up where they cannot make decisions about their sexual and regenerative well-being. Child marriage is a human violation of fundamental freedom, directly affecting girls’ schooling, well-being, and mental prosperity and severely affects their future generations’ soundness. This practice, driven by deprivation, is encouraged to guarantee the girl child’s monetary fortunes and support social ties. One way to reduce the consequences of child marriage and health is to allow girls to attend school. Because of subjugation, the girl’s job inside and outside the family still appears to be an essential justification for continuing the practice of teenage marriage. The process of socialisation of youth within the family usually addresses single-direction correspondence. Due to a human-controlled society, even mothers support fathers and older people in implementing the philosophy of early marriage for girls. Given such an eclectic social design, girls/children find it difficult to hand over insights into current respects and practices learned in schools to their unskilled parents. This paper aims to study the status of girls/women, which goes back in history and traces it to child marriage in present. Secondly, to look at the laws and policies and their methods of eradicating them. Thirdly, to examine the problems faced by children due to child marriage.","PeriodicalId":338928,"journal":{"name":"Integrated Journal for Research in Arts and Humanities","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135817290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
