The algorithm adds spatial distribution characteristics of color while retaining the original algorithm, thus reducing absolute dependence on the color for retrieval results. The simulation results show that this algorithm has better precision and recall and has especially remarkable effect for image retrieval of apparent color lump.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116214231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Now-a-days market is equipped with many American Sign Language teaching gadgets that are both software and hardware based. There are two major drawbacks of these devices firstly, that none of them is a two way communication device secondly, all these gadgets can only teach ASL but they can-not communicate their corresponding meanings to remote areas. This paper is focused on providing an applicative architecture of hand glove that records the gestures made by a speech and hearing disabled people, converts them into a meaningful text and transmits them to remote areas with help of Bluetooth, GSM-CDMA and Internet modules. It has five flex sensors, three contact sensors and one three axis accelerometer that serve as an input channel, AVR 2560 micro controller is used for gesture processing algorithm, trans-receiver modules for transmitting and receiving data and a graphic user interface that displays all the information sent and received between two users.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127719717","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In MANET, each mobile node powered by the battery. Hence, efficient utilization of battery energy is a key factor. Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) has been accepted as one of the distinguished and dominant routing protocols for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. OLSR uses a concept of the Multipoint Relay (MPR) selection mechanism to reduce the broadcast packet during a flooding process. In OLSR protocol, MPR nodes use more energy than nonMPR nodes. Due to this MPR nodes run out their energy. In this paper, we have propose a novel energy efficient routing method in OLSR protocol by modifying its MPR selection strategy to improve the networks lifetime in MANET in terms of energy. All simulation will be performed in NS2 with OLSR routing protocol.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134303685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), attackers make fool of innocent servers (i.e., Slave) into reddening packets to the victim. Most low-rate DDoS attack detection mechanisms are associated with specific protocols used by the attacks. Due to the use of slave, it has been found that the traffic flow for such an attack and their response flow to the victim may have linear relationships with another. Based on this observation, we propose the Partial Rank Correlation-based Detection (PRCD) scheme to detect both low-rate and high-rate DDoS attacks. Our experimental results confirm theoretical analysis and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in practice.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"358 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133271076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
