In this study, motivation was a major concern in Arabic language learning, especially in Islamic High School in Malang. Hence, to reveal and provide solutions to this problem, this research was conducted with a qualitative approach, the data source was obtained from observations and interviews with students, and supported by several documents. The results of this study indicated the motivation problems experienced by Islamic high school students in Malang were economic factors, low parenting education, low self-esteem of students, low linguistic attitudes, lack of interesting teaching materials and lack of understanding of Arabic importance. This result was in accordance with the motivation theory according to Fauzi and Helen which related to the internal and external aspects of the learner. This research had implications for Arabic learning which was based on the learner's motivation which is influenced by factors. However, the existence of this media has the potential for misunderstanding of educators in implementing YouTube as a substitute for the role of educators in the learning process. This article aims to explore students' perspectives regarding the phenomenon of misunderstanding in Nahwu science learning and recommendations so that the lecture process can run effectively. Narrative approach was used in this research. The research data were obtained from interviews with 32 students from various districts in Central Kalimantan Province. From the results of the study, it was found that students gave positive and negative perceptions about Nahwu science learning using the YouTube media. However, negative perceptions dominate more with various expressions of disappointment from students. The students definitely felt aggrieved by the implementation of the Nahwu lecture which was limited to using the YouTube media without being accompanied by further explanations from the lecturers who taught the Nahwu course. The researcher aimed to prepare the dictionary with Arabic Language textbook to improve the students' reading skill by collecting the vocabularies in the textbook with the suitable pictures. Then, the vocabularies are arranged alphabetically with how it works in example of the sentence so that it is easier to be memorized, remembered and understood. Finall, it hopefully can eliminate the difficulty in understanding their textbook. The type of this research was Research and Development with quantitative and qualitative research methods. The research data were obtained from pretest, post-test, and questionaires with 31 fifth graders in elementary school. Meanwhile interviews were conducted with the Arabic language teacher. The results of this research indicated that the use of the auxiliary dictionary for Arabic Language textbook developed by the researcher was effective to improve the reading skills of students in the fifth grade of elementary school. The additional vocabulary that students get from the dictionary developed their reading skills. Moreover, the sentences in the dictionary clarify and give students an idea of the use of vocabulary in sentences and become one of the vocabulary teaching strategies. Thus, this research suggested that the teacher should concern to the problems of the students in reading skills. Surah Al-Fatikhah must be read in every prayer, but several people do not understand its meaning. This paper aimed to reveal the secrets of sentence phrases in the Surah Al-Fatikhah. The research data were obtained from several classical books (tafsir) and several journal articles discussing Surah Al-Fatikhah. The results showed that Surah Al-Fatikhah contains an implicit message which is reflected in 3 main points, namely: (1) the sentence, such as: deleting alif in the bismillah sentence, the use of \"al\" in the word ‘Hamdu’ and ‘Alamin’ (2) the word choice, such as: the use of the word al-Rahman, al-Rahim, Rabb al-'Alamin, Malik, Yaum al-din , al-Sirat, al-Mustaqim, al-Magdub, and al-Dallin and (3) sentence structure such as: a statement in the form of a sentence with the intention of the command used in the sentence ‘al-Hamdu lillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin, especially an objective in the expression of “Iyyaka Na'budu wa Iyyaka Nasta’in” as in the study of Balagah chapter al-Qasr in Ma'ani, and equating the word “al-Sirat al-Mustaqim” with al-Din al-Ḥaq as in the study of Balagah chapter al-Majaz in Bayan. This study aimed to research on the epistemology of Arabic learning based on ICT. It was designed to find the Arabic learning model based on ICT. It assumed that integrating various fields of study with ICT, including Arabic language learning, is essential to be developed in this digital era. However, there are obstacles experienced by several schools, especially the teachers, they do not have a specific format for using ICT to integrate both scientific subjects. Descriptive qualitative research was used in this research. The data collection was done through observation, interviewing the teachers and one hundred X grade students, and documentation. The data were analyzed by using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results showed that the design of the ICT-based in Arabic learning model development is “al-hasub al-ittishalî”, this is an innovative Arabic learning model based on ICT. In this model, the materials and other learning tools are designed in a computer program. As stated by E. L. Criswell, computers provide opportunities for students to participate and respond to the student’s activities actively. This model contributes in making the teaching and learning process more effective. With this model, the teacher is expectedly able to become a learning motivator and a mediator to explain some materials to the students. They are called novice students and must learn basic things of a new language such as mufradat because they must master, memorize, understand, and use it in order to have a good grip of mufradat, translate it, and able to use it in correct phrases and sentences. This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using mimicry memorization method for learning mufradat in Junior High School of Muhammadiyah and to investigate the extent which students improve memorization skills after using mimicry memorization method. The research was a quantitative method with a type of experimental research techniques. The data research was collected from observation, documentation, and oral tests techniques. The population of the study included 7th grade students of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 8 Batu and the samples were 7C students as experimental class and 7D students as control class. The results of research contributed that there was an increase 0.825 (large level) point in students’ memorizing ability after using mimicry memorization method. This method was effective to use for novice students in learning mufradat. A language teacher needs to consider this method for novice students. Adnan’s script or type of writing differs from the standard style of script from the Middle East. In his hand, creative processes and various dynamics of aesthetic aspects tend to glide calmly. Syaiful Adnan has had solo and collective exhibitions at home and abroad which present the holy verses of the Qur'an as well as hadith and Mahfudzot or words of wisdom as central themes. This research uses archival research method to study various references and documentation as well as direct interviews. Data is analysed inductively by organizing it, describing it into units, synthesizing, composing into patterns, choosing what is important and what will be studied, and present it in this article. The study discovered that spiritual aspects found in Syaiful Adnan’s calligraphy painting is a form of representation of monotheism and dhikr. The oneness of Allah can easily be understood through a series of verses of the Qur'an that contain all the greatness, majesty and omnipotence of the Almighty. From here we can see that the works of Syaiful Adnan were made a communication medium for the audience's awareness and Syaiful Adnan's own self. This study aims to discuss the meaning of the word al-Nisa in Al-Quran especially in Surah an-Nisa. The data used are the verses in surah an-Nisa. This research used Izutsu semantic analysis method. The results of this study revealed that the word al-Nisa has two forms in surah an-Nisa, namely Imra'ah or Mar'ah, and Al-untsa. Syntagmatically, the word al-Nisa always encompasses one meaning, namely women, who have female gender. In the term of paradigmatic, the word al-Nisa has the synonymity with the words Imra'ah or Mar'ah, and Al-untsa. Whereas the antonymity of that word is with rijal (male), or ruler. This word was understood as being helpless, weak and oppressed in pre-Qur'anic period. In Al-Qur’anic period, this word was conceived of as a type of gender that is recognized and has an honorable and noble position and has rights as well as men would have. The results of this study are also an effort to find weltanschauung conceptual understanding of the meaning of the word al-Nisa, so the word al-Nisa would not be distorted. It has the evidence that the word al-Nisa does not only distinguish between men and women. The purpose of this study is to describe students’ perceptions as users of the LMS application. The study was descriptive research. As many as 150 students involved in this study, 75 percent chose the blended learning model for learning Arabic. They called the ten most popular LMS application platforms such as Google Classroom, Edmodo, Schoology, Geschool, Our Class, Kelase, ClassDojo, TrackCC, Class123, and Eckovation. Of the 10 LMS applications, the best is Edmodo and the most famous is the Google Classroom. The potential of the LMS application as a representation of the blended learning model is because it has a variety of features. There are at least 16 features, namely: integration of LMS applications with social media, communication features with parents, attendance, payment, homework, conferences, forums, certificates, quiz (polling), document shares, grade books, announcements, testing/surveys, calendar/schedule, email, and chat facilities. The results of students' perceptions regarding these features indicate that they understand all the functions of the LMS features. About learning Arabic, they assessed that all LMS applications had the potential to be used for learning Arabic.
