The principle and method of flood-spreading simulation were discussed. The needed surface-elevation model was built automatically from existing feature data by use of GIS. The models to simulate floodwater washing and floodwater storing were built using breadth-first-search algorithm. The detailed procedures were provided. The Hengren County of Liaoning Province was used as the study-area as an example. A flood was simulated with the Hengren Reservoir as the main floodwater source. The spatial analysis of GIS was used to predict and analyze the results. Firstly, a neural macroscopic dynamic model based on the Kashani model for urban trunk road is proposed. Secondly, a two-level coordinated fuzzy control method implemented by neural network is presented. Based on the traffic volume data measured from each intersection the coordinated layer is coordinated with the number vehicle between the adjacent intersections. The operating layer adjusts on-line signal cycle and splits of every intersection. The object of the control method is to unblock the traffic trunk road and to shorten the average vehicle delay time. In many applications it is sufficient to generate only frequent sequential patterns with support frequency in close-enough approximation instead of in full precision. In this paper, we introduce the concept of condensed frequent sequential pattern-base with guaranteed maximal error bound and develop an algorithm to mine such a condensed sequential pattern-base. The criteria used in dissolved gas analysis are based on crisp value norms. Due to the dichotomous nature of crisp criteria, transformers with similar gas-in-oil conditions may lead to very different conclusions of diagnosis especially when the gas concentrations are around the crisp norms. To deal with this problem, gas-in-oil data of failed transformers were collected and treated in order to obtain the membership functions of fault patterns using a grey relational analysis method. All crisp norms were transformed into mapping rules. In this paper, the novel method of fuzzy genetic algorithm-artificial neural networks (FGA-ANN) was applied to transformer fault diagnosis instead of the ratio method. The novel method combined GA and ANN, during genetic algorithm's optimized, crossover rate and mutation rate were adjusted dynamically by fuzzy control. The treated data of the model samples were operated by FGA-ANN and a group of weighs and biases were found. Finally examples were given. In order to sustain a long-term relationship between a manufacturing firm and its supplier, the manufacturer's supporting innovation activities should achieve a win-win solution. When the market demand is constant, it is proved that the trade-off between the manufacturer and the supplier is a zero-sum game, and hence a win-win outcome is never obtained through the manufacturer's coordination schemes. When the demand is affected by the product price, it is shown that the manufacturer prefers a higher price than the system's optimal one under no coordination, resulting in the double marginalization. In order to efficiently deal with the changing traffic loads and topologies, reduce the phenomena of congestions, this paper describes a new adaptive dynamic routing algorithm for packet-switched communications networks based on simple biological \"ants\" that explore the network and learn good routes, using a novel variation of reinforcement learning. The algorithm combines fuzzy control, immune feedback mechanism of organism with conventional PID control. In the algorithm, the suppression number of suppression cells is described by a nonlinear function, which is approximated by a 2D fuzzy controller. The given algorithm can overcome the influence of modeling error and parameter varying when robot dynamic model parameters change from 10% to 190% randomly.
