The majority of work and household activities have been transferred to the Internet, and this has naturally led to the emergence of a new trend – “TV-everything” world.The rapid shift to a remote format and accelerated automation of processes have also changed attitudes to the previous management rules. The vast majority of companies decided during the pandemic to move some categories of staff to full-time remote work. One of the most debated topics today is the hybrid office model, where some employees work from home.The aim of the study is to show the consequences of the pandemic, which will determine the growth points in technology and management for the future, and to highlight the important challenges that the new norm of organisational management brings with it.The article presents the results of a survey of managers from various sectors carried out between March and April 2021. A review of the use of new technologies to improve the quality of the hybrid office was carried out. The importance of reinforcing the corporate culture in a remote working environment is highlighted and some guidelines for building communication in a remote working team environment are listed.These include: fostering corporate spirit, establishing a shared vision of the situation, mentoring, a culture of continuous feedback, informal communication, and newcomer adaptation.In a changing work environment, companies need to be extremely attentive to the well-being and productivity of teams and the mental health of employees. Against this backdrop, the crisis of the management system, its inability to effectively deal with business issues, has clearly manifested itself. The COVID-19 epidemic has significantly complicated the situation in the management. The aim of the study is to outline ways of transforming the management system to help enterprises emerge from organisational stress. The state of governance is analysed over time: 1) the situation before the pandemic is considered; 2) the current changes since the pandemic began, in the face of both constrained business activity and a worsening crisis, are noted; 3) а forecast is given for business and management organisations for the coming post-pandemic period and regarding conversion to the new format of operations in which remote management and networked organisations have a strong place. A desk study was used and data from nationwide surveys of management employees was used. The research resulted in tactical and strategic decisions to improve the management system in organisations and proposals for changes in the theoretical and methodological basis of management, proposals for changes to the theoretical and methodological basis of governance.Management should be based on the laws of development of socio-economic systems rather than on precedents from business practices. Interaction management, trust management, real-time strategic management are paramount and require organisations to be adaptable, flexible, integrated and self-organised. Using the possibilities of digitalisation, it is necessary to improve the accuracy of management, ensuring that management decisions are calculated and learn to measure not only the results of activities, but also the state of the economic system. Bogdanov’s General Organizational Science (Tectology), whose methodology provides conclusions different from generally accepted A. Smith’s concept of labor division. The article’s goal is to investigate specialist’s characteristics and his difference from generalist.In terms of tectology, the difference is the cause of any process or phenomenon. Labor specialization is also based on difference – the difference between initial resources and collective consumption. The depth of labor specialization is determined by the number of people and the volume of their consumption. Reaching the global market’s limits has led to a reduction of differences in most markets and a decrease in production profitability, which in the long term can lead to the curtailment of material and energy flows. A qualitatively new difference may be the difference between the values and meanings of humanity, on the one hand, and the dehumanized technosphere, on the other. It has been suggested to evaluate the level of investment attractiveness of the petroleum refining industry through capital productivity. A system of indicators affecting the investment attractiveness of the petroleum refining has been formed in the context of resource and production, financial, economic and social groups of factors. This methodology of correlation and regression analysis for modeling factors affecting investment attractiveness has been presented. The banking sector is an important part of the economy in any country, however in the Arab countries there are certain problems in the application of the concept of electronic banking. The purpose of this study is a comparative analysis of approaches to the application of information and communication technologies in the banking sector in Algeria, the United Arab Emirates and Syria, identification of the features and bottlenecks in the development of electronic banking services.It has been shown that in order to develop a strong economy and provide quality services that meet customer needs, Arab countries are clearly keen to implement the concept of electronic banking in their banks, but there are still some obstacles which prevent them from competing with international financial organisations. On the other hand, there are several successful scenarios for providing electronic services around the world, for example, the experience of the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Lebanon and other Arab countries.To assess the level of use of electronic services by the Syrian population at the present time, the authors conducted a survey of clients of the Syrian state and private banks. Based on the survey results, it has been concluded that customers are interested in receiving services in electronic form, but this is hindered by the political situation in the country and a number of other problems. The purpose of this research is to study the problem of information support for the strategic management of large manufacturing companies in the context of the need to make effective management decisions on the planning of the product range, the implementation of capital investment, the launch of new products based on the implementation and use of the full life cycle calculation system. The paper analyses the prerequisites for the emergence of a system of calculating the full life cycle of a product, considers the key features and advantages of using this system. The study formulates the requirements for the organization of cost accounting in the context of the application of the calculation of the full life cycle, gives recommendations for planning and controlling costs in the context of the stages of the “life” of the product. The author made a conclusion about the expediency of implementing the system under consideration for Russian manufacturing companies, revealed the sequence of applying the calculation method in the conditions of its use. The article shows the possibilities of using Japanese cost management systems and cost calculation in relation to individual stages of the life cycle. Risks fluctuations in world oil prices can cause sovereign financial risks of instability in macroeconomic variables in both groups of oil exporting and importing countries. Negative shocks in world oil prices for countries such as Iran and Russia, whose economic structure is oriented towards oil and provides a significant part of the state budget through oil, could have significant consequences for the economies of these countries. Such fluctuations not only affect the economies of oil-importing countries, but are also one of the main causes of disruptions in the economies of oil-exporting countries. This study examines the government's management of risk fluctuations in world oil prices and its actions in Iran and Russia. The results of this study show that Iran and Russia, as sanctioned countries and oil exporters, have taken various measures to deal with these shocks, the most important of which is the creation of sovereign wealth funds in the two countries. In this article, the characteristics of national development funds in Iran and Russia are compared. The study identifies factors that characterize the transformation of the HR industry due to the impact of digitalization.The paper shows the experience of implementing SAP Success Factors tools, which indicates that this cloud system, including a set of automated solutions for working with personnel, will allow you to manage talents. The multi-functionality of the system ensures the management of human resources through the use of cloud technologies at all stages: from recruitment to the implementation of the company’s personnel policy. The article shows the advantages of the SAP Success Factors system. The expected effects of implementing SAP Success Factors are to increase the operational efficiency of HR and the efficiency of business processes, as well as to expand the experience of employees.The author concludes that the existing methods of personnel Management are being transformed under the influence of digital technologies and, since human resources play a key role in achieving the organization’s goals, their effective use has a positive impact on its competitiveness. The existing agglomeration problems and the need to accelerate growth due to the agglomeration effect form a challenge to the agglomeration governance system. For an adequate response it is important to understand the capabilities of governance models. These capabilities can be expressed through the description of the features of the models.For a large-scale description of the features of models, it is necessary to form groups of features, characterize each feature, compare the models according to the degree of its manifestation, and, if possible, explain the reason for the differences. The article investigates research papers within the framework of the theory of municipal reformers, the theory of public choice, in particular on the issues of centralization / decentralization of municipalities, intermunicipal cooperation, the efficiency of the economy of the public sector. The authors used general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, grouping, comparison.The revealed features make it possible to assess the governance model in terms of what the agglomeration will receive from its implementation. All features are combined into five groups: economic, social, administrative efficiency, democratization, stability. The study revealed 29 features, presented their explanation and degree of development, depending on the type of governance model.As a result of the study, the possibilities for justifying the feasibility of introducing models have increased. The authors represented scientific novelty by a more complete list of the features of models, a more detailed presentation of them, the approach of presenting information “from features”, a convenient grouping that allows you to use the characteristic to assess the effectiveness of the activities of government authorities.
