Comparison of the true sets is a key step in biometric template matching or encryption. In FCS (short for fuzzy comparison scheme), an algorithm for biometric template matching is proposed based on fuzzy theory. The proposed method defines two fuzzy sets, measures the nearness between the two true sets, and selects an available threshold. Moreover, this method can be generalized into high dimension space and multi-set matching. Based on the analysis of the traditional calculation methods for the thermal effect calculation of short circuit current of OPGW, and with the integrated consideration of heat exchange, initial conditions and the skin effect, the new method called improved integration algorithm is given, and the applied software called OPGWTA was developed. Several OPGW cables in common use were calculated and analyzed by the software, the results were accord with those of experiment. Different from other existing text-based web image search engines, this algorithm can be applied to content-based web image search engine effectively. SIFT descriptors, which are invariant to image scaling and transformation and rotation, and partially invariant to illumination changes and affine, present the local features of an image. Therefore, feature keypoints saved as XML files can be extracted more accurately by using SIFT than by color, texture, shape and spatial relations feature. To decrease unavailable features matching, a dynamic probability function replaces the original fixed value to determine the similarity distance of ROI (Region of interest) and database from web training images. The KM toolholder/spindle interface belongs to the highly nonlinear problem caused by interference fit and elastic coulomb friction. The distribution situation of the contact stress and elastic deformation was also given out based on the precise simulation results and the optimum magnitude of interference as well as clamping force was also recommended. Firstly, the parameters of the Gaussian point spread function (PSF) of the observed image are estimated. Through Wiener filter image restoration algorithm, multiple error-parameter curves are generated at different parameters. According to these curves, the size and standard deviation of PSF may be estimated. Then, utilizing the estimated PSF, the blurred image is restored through Wiener filter. Experimental results show that this PSF estimation method can estimate the parameters of Gaussian PSF accurately, and justify the fact that PSF estimation plays an important part in image restoration.
