Flourish conditions are needed by students who nearly drop out in completing their education at college. This study aims to determine the role of family social support in the flourishing of students who nearly drop out, moderated by independent learning. This study uses a quantitative approach at university X in Tarakan, North Kalimantan. The subjects of this study were 70 students who nearly dropped out. The results of the moderated regression analysis show that family social support and independent learning play a positive role in student flourishing. However, learning independence still needs to be proven to strengthen the role of family social support for flourishing students who nearly drop out. This means that independent learning does not have a significant moderating effect as a moderating variable. Flourishing merupakan tingkatan tertinggi dari kesejahteraan psikologis manusia. Kondisi flourish sangat dibutuhkan mahasiswa yang terancam drop out dalam menyelesaikan pendidikannya di institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap flourishing mahasiswa yang terancam drop out yang dimoderatori oleh kemandirian belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif di Universitas X di kota Tarakan, Kalimantan utara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 70 orang mahasiswa yang terancam drop out. Hasil moderated regression analysis menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial keluarga dan kemandirian belajar secara bersama-sama berperan positif terhadap flourishing mahasiswa, namun kemandirian belajar tidak terbukti memperkuat peranan dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap flourishing mahasiswa yang terancam drop out. Students are vulnerable to experiencing academic stress caused by the burden of responsibility to carry out knowledge in two places and demands for academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how social support and academic stress relate to the psychological well-being of santri students. Three research instruments and a quantitative methodology were employed in this study. In this study, 200 santri students from Special Region of Yogyakarta served as the sample. Employing Pearson product moment correlation analysis approaches for quantitative analysis. According to the study's findings, social support and academic stress significantly influence psychological well-being, with a combined effective contribution of 47,4%. Academic stress was negatively connected with psychological well-being (p=0,001) and favorably correlated with social support (p=0,001), with an effective contribution of 25,7% for each independent variable, according to an analysis of each independent variable. Mahasiswa santri adalah individu yang secara sekaligus menuntut ilmu di perguruan tinggi dan pondok pesantren. Mahasiswa rentan mengalami stres akademik yang disebabkan oleh beban tanggung jawab untuk mengemban ilmu di dua tempat dan tuntutan prestasi akademik. Ketersediaan dukungan sosial yang dimiliki juga dapat mempengaruhi tinggi-rendahnya tingkat psychological well-being mahasiswa santri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan psychological well-being mahasiswa santri ditinjau dari dukungan sosial dan stress akademik. Metode kuantitatif digunakan sebagai metode penelitian. Terdapat 200 mahasiswa santri di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang menjadi sampel sampel penelitian. Instrument yang digunakan ada 3 skala. Kemudian teknik analisis korelasi pearson product moment digunakan sebagai analasis data penelitian. Menurut output penelitian, dukungan sosial dan stres akademik memiliki dampak yang cukup besar terhadap psychological well-being, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 47,4%. Analisis masing-masing variabel independen menunjukkan bahwa stres akademik berhubungan negatif dengan kesejahteraan psikologis (p=0,001), dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 25,7%. This study aims to examine the relationship of emotional labor and job satisfaction through the mediation role of emotional exhaustion. Data for this study was collected from 86 retail sales person from Jabodetabek, recruited through convenience sampling technique. The measurement tools were Job in General, Emotional labor Scale, and Maslach Burnout Inventory. The mediation analysis showed that emotional exhaustion is able to mediate the relationship between surface acting and job satisfaction. However, there was no mediating role of emotional exhaustion in the relationship between deep acting and job satisfaction. These explain that the more retail sales people use surface acting, the more they feel emotional exhaustion which will result in low level of job satisfaction. But those deep acting strategies are not proven to have an influence on emotional exhaustion, so this factor cannot be the mediator in relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction. Banyak studi sebelumnya yang meneliti hubungan antara emotional labor dan job satisfaction, namun masih sedikit yang membahas terkait peran emotional exhaustion sebagai mediator dalam hubungan tersebut, terutama pada karyawan sales ritel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan emotional labor dan job satisfaction melalui peran mediasi emotional exhaustion. Partisipan penelitian merupakan karyawan sales ritel Jabodetabek yang berjumlah 86 orang, direkrut dengan teknik convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Job in General, Emotional labor Scale, dan Maslach Burnout Inventory. Hasil analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa emotional exhaustion mampu memediasi hubungan antara surface acting dan job satisfaction, namun tidak menemukan adanya peran mediasi emotional exhaustion dalam hubungan antara deep acting dan job satisfaction. Ini menjelaskan semakin sering karyawan sales ritel menggunakan surface acting maka semakin karyawan akan merasakan emotional exhaustion yang berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat job satisfaction. Data were collected by using two questionnaires, (1) Optimism by using the scale of optimism (Seligman, 2008) and (2) Problem-focused coping by using the Coping scale (Lazarus, 1984). Data were analyzed descriptively, and statistical analysis (hypothesis testing) was done using a simple regression procedure under SPSS/PC Ver.23.00. This study's results indicated a significant positive correlation between optimism and problem-focused coping among students. The respective R-square is 0.166, a result of the coefficient is 0.407. There are no significant differences in problem-focused coping and optimism among students. However, there are significant gender differences, male students are more problem-focused with coping and optimism than female students. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh optimisme terhadap problem focused coping mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh dan mengtahui perbedaan optimisme dan problem focused coping diantara mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan.  Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 320 mahasiswa (81 laki-laki dan 239 perempuan) dengan menggunakan proporsional stratified sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua kuesioner, (1) Optimisme dengan menggunakan skala optimisme (Seligman, 2008) dan (2) Problem focused coping dengan menggunakan skala Coping Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan analisis statistik (pengujian hipotesis) dilakukan dengan prosedur simple Regression. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara optimisme dengan problem focused coping pada siswa. R-square adalah 0,166, hasil koefisien adalah 0,407. Lecture-student interactions as the exogenous variable were measured with the Lecturer-student Interaction (LSI) questionnaire that contains four aspects: autonomy support, emotional support, academic support, and the framework used to measure the quality of lecturer-student interaction. The emotional involvements of students during lectures as the endogenous variable are the emotions (pleasure, boredom, despair, anger, hope, anxiety) that are often expressed in the lecture process. Emotional engagement is considered as the mediator variable. Perceived learning as the dependent variable is related to the ability of lecturers to arouse students' curiosity about the lecture material. The second dependent variable is academic achievement which is determined by the cumulative index report (GPA) from the previous semester. 270 students from many universities in Indonesia filled out the questionnaire. The conceptual model proposed in this study is incompatible with empirical data in the field. In the first model, lecturer-student interaction influences perceived learning mediated by emotional engagement because lecturer-student interaction will only significantly influence perceived learning through emotional engagement (full mediation). Directly and through mediation of emotional involvement, the influence of lecturer-student interaction variables is not significant on academic achievement. In the modified model, lecturer-student interaction influences perceived learning with emotional engagement and also significantly influences perceived learning without emotional involvement variables (partial mediation). The dynamics of the lecturer-student interaction relationship, emotional engagement, and academic achievement in this modified model remain the same as the first model. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kesesuaian model yang mengusulkan hubungan antara kualitas interaksi siswa-guru sebagai prediktor prestasi akademik dan pembelajaran yang dirasakan dengan keterlibatan emosional sebagai mediator. Interaksi dosen-mahasiswa sebagai variabel eksogen diukur dengan kuesioner Interaksi Dosen-Mahasiswa (LSI) yang memuat empat aspek: dukungan otonomi, dukungan emosional, dukungan akademik, dan kerangka yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas interaksi dosen-mahasiswa. Keterlibatan emosional mahasiswa selama perkuliahan sebagai variabel endogen adalah emosi (senang, bosan, putus asa, marah, harap, cemas) yang sering diungkapkan dalam proses perkuliahan. However, Islamic groups consider Jews as a threat for Islamic practice. Furthermore, Islamic groups have belief that Jews are conspired against Islam in Indonesia through ideological ways. This study aims to explore association between symbolic threat and belief in Jewish conspiracy theory. This association mediated by religious zeal. There are 385 respondents who completed symbolic threat scale, religious zeal scale, and belief in Jewish conspiracy theory scale. Hypothesis tested by Jamovi 1.6.23 with medmod module. Analysis result explained symbolic threat has association with belief in Jewish conspiracy theory. Religious zeal also mediated that association. Symbolic threat could be a factor which explain Jewish conspiracy belief in Indonesia. Jewish conspiracy belief could be seen as mechanism to maintain positive image of Islamic group. Analysis result also explain Muslims and Jews relationship in Indonesia. Abstrak. Eksistensi Yahudi di Indonesia sangat sedikit dan hampir nihil. Namun, kelompok muslim merasa bahwa Yahudi adalah sesuatu yang mengancam nilai-nilai Islam. Selain itu, kelompok muslim memiliki keyakinan bahwa Yahudi berkonspirasi dalam melemahkan umat Islam di Indonesia melalui cara-cara ideologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kaitan ancaman simbolis dan keyakinan terhadap teori konspirasi Yahudi dengan kekolotan religius sebagai mediator. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala ancaman simbolis, skala kekolotan religius, dan skala keyakinan terhadap teori konspirasi Yahudi. 385 responden terlibat dalam penelitian. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Jamovi 1.6. 23 dengan modul medmod Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ancaman simbolis memiliki kaitan dengan keyakinan terhadap teori konspirasi Yahudi dan kekolotan religius memediasi kaitan dua variabel. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ancaman simbolis dapat menjadi faktor terkait alasan dari seseorang meyakini teori konspirasi Yahudi di Indonesia. Meyakini bahwa Yahudi berkonspirasi untuk mengancam nilai-nilai Islam adalah bagian dari mempertahankan citra dari kelompok Islam. This study aimed to comprehend the meaning of family support for employees infected with COVID-19. The study used qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Online and offline interviews were conducted to collect the data. This research had three main informants who work at Company X and each informant was followed by one significant other. The result showed that although the support of each family was different, the meanings that appeared in the three informants had similarities. The three informants interpreted family support as a motivation to come back home and to be healthy again. In addition, all informants interpreted family support as a stress reliever during isolation. In all informant’s views, their family had provided support for them, although in different ways for each informant. Therefore, the main factor influencing the recovery of the informants was family support and only family who always stay and accept their situation. In the end, family support is also interpreted as a spirit when informants face discrimination in their workplace. From the experience of all informants, it is known that family support makes a huge contribution to the recovery process when informants were infected by COVID-19.Abstrak. Saat pandemi seperti ini dukungan keluarga sangat dibutuhkan, terlebih bagi mereka yang sedang terinfeksi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan mengetahui makna dari dukungan keluarga bagi karyawan yang terinfeksi virus COVID-19. Informan dalam penelitian kali ini adalah tiga karyawan yang positif terpapar COVID-19. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara secara online dan offline. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga informan utama yang bekerja di Perusahaan X dan masing-masing informan diikuti oleh significant other. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun dalam bentuk perlakuan setiap keluarga berbeda, namun makna yang muncul pada ketiga informan memiliki kesamaan. Ketiga informan memaknai dukungan keluarga sebagai motivasi untuk kembali pulang dengan sehat kembali. Selain itu, informan memaknai dukungan keluarga sebagai penghilang stress saat isolasi. Bagi semua informan, keluarga akan selalu memberikan dukungan kepada mereka meskipun dengan cara yang berbeda-beda untuk setiap informan. Oleh karenanya, faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kesembuhan informan adalah dukungan keluarga. Hanya keluarga yang selalu bertahan dan menerima keadaannya. Pada akhirnya, dukungan keluarga juga dimaknai sebagai semangat menghadapi diskriminasi yang diterima informan di tempat kerja. Even though teachers' career is guaranteed, teachers are still worried about their career success, especially about their subjective success. Subjective career success is defined as an individual's subjective perspective, assessment, and satisfaction with his/her career achievement. Professional commitment is loyalty to their profession, and positive evaluation of the profession, so that it is considered to have a role in achieving subjective career success. The objective of this research was to examine the role of professional commitment on subjective career success in teachers. Using a non-experimental correlational quantitative approach this research has 320 teachers as the subject. The measuring instrument used was Professional Commitment Scale and Subjective Career Success Inventory, with the sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The data analysis method used a simple regression test to determine the correlation between variables and a multiple regression test to determine the per dimension role. The research results indicated the role of professional commitment on subjective career success. It is hoped that the results of this study can be considered in increasing teacher commitment to their profession to increase subjective career success. Abstrak. Setiap guru memimpikan karier yang sukses dan berkelanjutan agar mendapatkan kepuasan dalam kariernya. Meskipun berkarier menjadi seorang guru begitu terjamin, namun seorang guru tetap merasakan kekhawatiran akan kesuksesan kariernya, terkhusus pada kesuksesan subjektifnya. Subjective career success didefinisikan sebagai perspektif subjektif individu, penilaian, dan kepuasan terhadap pencapaian kariernya. Professional commitment merupakan loyalitas terhadap profesi, dan evaluasi positif pada profesi, sehingga dianggap mampu berperan dalam mencapai subjective career success. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peran professional commitment terhadap subjective career success pada guru. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional non-eksperimen dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 320 guru. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Professional Commitment Scale dan Subjective Career Success Inventory, dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu accidental sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana untuk mengetahui peran antar variabel dan uji regresi berganda untuk mengetahui peran per dimensi. The psychological burdens that cause parenting stress can be released with gratitude and through relaxation and catharsis techniques. This study aims to examine the effect of online brief interventions of relaxation and catharsis on gratitude and parenting stress. The research was conducted with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design and instruments of the Gratitude (α=0,765; D= 0,455-0,620) and the Parenting Stress Scale (α=0,800; D= 0,283-0,693). Participants were 7 parents of elementary school students obtained by convenience sampling (MAge=41,14; SDAge= 4,95; Female=85,71%). The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test inferential statistical test showed no significant increase in gratitude as well as decrease in parenting stress. However, further data analysis found an outlier among participants. Reexamination by removing an outlier showed a significant effect of the intervention on reducing parenting stress.Abstrak. Stres pengasuhan berisiko mengakibatkan peristiwa traumatik, bahkan kompleks, pada anak yang selanjutnya menghambat tumbuh kembangnya. Beban psikologis penyebab stres pengasuhan dapat dilepaskan dengan kebersyukuran dan melalui teknik relaksasi dan katarsis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh intervensi relaksasi dan katarsis singkat daring terhadap kebersyukuran dan stres pengasuhan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan eksperimen kuasi one-group pretest-posttest design serta instrumen Skala Kebersyukuran (α=0,765; D= 0,455-0,620) dan Skala Stres Pengasuhan (α=0,800; D= 0,283-0,693). Partisipan adalah 7 orangtua dari siswa sekolah dasar yang diperoleh secara convenience sampling (MUsia=41,14; SDUsia= 4,95; Perempuan=85,71%). Hasil pengujian statistik inferensial Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan tidak adanya peningkatan kebersyukuran dan penurunan stres pengasuhan secara signifikan. Meski demikian, analisis data lebih lanjut menemukan pencilan di antara partisipan. The aspiring middle-class refers to a social class that is not yet a middle-class but will eventually achieve the middle-class status. How do the aspiring middle-class families bounce back from the crisis and become strong and healthy families and it could contribute to comprehending the commonly described social unit that is labeled for its vulnerabilities to any major shocks. This is a mixed-method study with a quantitative approach and enriched with qualitative data. The results showed that most participants come from an aspiring middle-class with a high value on the Family Resilience Assessment Scale (Sixbey, 2005). Furthermore, themes found are family belief system, family organizational pattern, problem-solving communication, health protocol adherence, and family economic condition. The study concluded that multidimensional factors enable the development process of family resilience. Governmental programs for developing family well-being and resilience can take advantage of this research, especially about the multidimensional factors that will be a noteworthy entry point for the intervention of family program enhancement. Abstrak. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses terbentuknya ketangguhan keluarga dari kelas menengah aspiratif (the aspiring middleclass) di Jabodetabek, pada masa berjangkitnya wabah Covid-19. Studi ini bermanfaat untuk menjelaskan bagaimana keluarga-keluarga yang sedang menuju kelas menengah ini menghadapi krisis dan kemudian bangkit kembali sebagai sebuah keluarga yang sehat fisik dan mental. Metode penelitian studi ini adalah metode campuran, dengan penekanan utama pada metode kuantitatif dan pengayaan data melalui pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Alat ukur yang dipakai bersumber dari pemikiran Walsh (2003), yakni alat ukur Sixbey (2005) The Family Resilience Assessment Scale (Skala Ketangguhan Keluarga). Hasil penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif memperlihatkan sebagian besar responden berasal dari keluarga kelas menengah aspiratif (the aspiring middleclass) dengan level of resilience atau tingkat ketangguhan tinggi. Tema-tema yang muncul dari data kualitatif adalah sistem keyakinan keluarga, pola-pola pengorganisasian keluarga, komunikasi berorientasi pemecahan masalah, kepatuhan terhadap protokol kesehatan dan kondisi perekonomian keluarga. Dapat disimpulkan, studi ini memperlihatkan bagaimana proses ketangguhan keluarga terbentuk melalui pengaruh variabel-variabel mutidimensional.
