Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat penerapan budaya sekolah islami di SMP Negeri 19 Percontohan Banda Aceh, yang mencakup bentuk-bentuk dan langkah-langkah pelaksanaannya, peran dewan guru, pemahaman dan pendapat siswa, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada pelaksanaan budaya sekolah islami dalam pembinaan akhlak siswa. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk dan langkah-langkah penerapannya, peran dewan guru, pemahaman dan pendapat siswa, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada pelaksanaan budaya sekolah islami dalam pembinaan akhlak siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, dewan guru dan siswa SMP Negeri 19 Percontohan Banda Aceh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Tehnik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan ada 10 bentuk budaya sekolah islami di SMP Negeri 19 Percontohan dalam pembinaan akhlak siswa yang pada pelaksanaannya melibatkan peran dewan guru sebagai pengajar, pendidik dan partisipan. Secara keseluruhan siswa mendukung pelaksanaan budaya sekolah islami dan paham dengan pelaksanaannya. Selain itu juga terdapat 6 faktor yang mendukung pelaksanaan budaya sekolah islami, dan juga tidak terlepas dari 2 kendala yang dihadapi, yaitu pengaruh perkembangan teknologi dan karakter siswa yang berbeda-beda. Solusi yang ditempuh untuk menghadapi kendala tersebut yaitu dewan guru tidak memperbolehkan siswa menggunakan smartphone di sekolah dan melakukan pendekatan individual dengan siswa, jika ada yang bermasalah. Therefore, this study examined the implementation of the reward and punishment system as an effort to improve the students’ achievement in SMA in Pidie District. The study focused on the forms of rewards and punishments, and their application and relation with the improvement of the students’ learning achievement in Islamic religious education. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, taking place in SMA Negeri 2 Sigli, SMA Negeri 1 Keumala, and SMA Negeri 1 Kembang Tanjong. Data collection techniques included observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study showed that the forms of rewards provided included giving awards to the students who excelled in both academic and nonacademic domains. The rewards were also given in the forms of praises, gifts, body movements (giving thumbs up), applause, daily scores, smiles, writing names on the blackboard, and mentioning names. On the other hand, the punishments included giving advice and guidance, showing sour faces, giving loud reprimands, cleaning the schoolrooms and classrooms, providing additional duties, and memorizing surah or short verses of the Quran or hadiths. The application of rewards and punishments has become the guideline for the teachers to monitor and control the students, to create an orderly school life so that the atmosphere is conducive to teaching and learning activities, to appreciate the students who are active or successful academically and non-academically, to foster the student awareness on how to be good and quality students, and to encourage the students to gain more achievements. The rewards and punishments have been carried out regularly and programmed in teaching and learning activities as well as in extracurricular activities. The rewards and punishments were applied by involving all parties such as the teachers, the students affairs/guidance and counseling department, and the homeroom teachers. The provision of rewards and punishments have made the students more motivated in following the learning process. Thus, the students could implement them in real life. The study conducted in Class X of MAN Model Banda Aceh, aimed at investigating the implementation of the contextual approach, the application of the contextual approach which could increase the understanding of the Aqidah concept, and the understanding of Aqidah concept of the students taught using the contextual approach and the conventional approach. The research employed quantitative descriptive with quasi experimental method. Data were collected by essay pretest and essay posttest, teachers’ and students’ observation, and documentation. The research findings showed that the implementation of the contextual approach on aqidah learning covered the scope of Aqidah Islam and sub-materials such as the definitions, and the principles of aqidah. The learning method of aqidah included using seven components of the contextual approach: constructivism, inquiry, modeling, frequently asked questions, group learning, modeling, and real judgment. The teaching and learning activities were carried out through discussions in accordance with the lesson plans. Further, the observation analysis of the teachers’ ability level (TKG) showed that the descriptive statistics of the teaching activity was 4.51≤TKG t1-α or 15.38> 1.6923, making Ho rejected and Ha accepted. It can be meant that the students’ posttest was better that the pretest. Moreover, the learning outcomes of the aqidah learning of the students of Class X IPA 2 and Class X IPA 5 reflected that those taught with the contextual outperformed those with the conventional learning, as shown here based on the significance level α = 0.05 and degree of freedom (df) = 66. It has several fields including Islamic Law, Islamic Education, Islamic Economics, Islamic Da’wa, Islamic History and Civilization, etc. In line with the new regulation published by the Ministry of Research and Technology and Higher Education of Republic Indonesia, particularly in relationship with the implementation of the national qualification framework and the national standard of higher education, this department must be driven to fit this regulation. This study took place in three Aceh Province districts including Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe and Aceh Tengah. The total number of research participants were 17 people consisted of alumni and users. The purpose of this research is to know the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning diniyyah program at SDIT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection technique is done through interview, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research are principal, head of diniyah program and teachers of diniyah at SDIT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. The results showed that: 1) the learning plan of diniyah program prepared by diniyyah teachers is still many deficiencies, the teachers only prepare the material and the learning method. The Learning Implementation Plan is not written. 2) the Implementation of diniyah learning program implemented in SDIT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh has been done systematically and used various learning methods, so as to create a conducive and fun learning atmosphere; but in the use of learning media, many teachers only use the media in the classroom as learning, without presenting a variety of learning media. 3) the evaluation of diniyah teachers in SDIT Nurul Ishlah has been done systematically by evaluating the process and evaluating the learning outcomes at the end of each semester. One cannot survive, and education cannot stand upright and firm without being supported by good and noble ethical values. Nowday world has witnessed the crisis of ethics, awakening us all to fix it, starting from at least ourselves. This study aimed at figuring out the ethics of teachers and students in the book of Sīrus al-Sālikīn by Syaikh'Abd al-Ṣamad al-Falimbānī and its relevance in the current educational context. The study used library research or literature study with descriptive approach. Primary and secondary data were obtained through literature research through documentation method. The data were then analyzed by using content analysis technique. The results of the study showed that Syaikh 'Abd al-Ṣamad al-Falimbānī revealed that the teacher ethics was more important than the other factors, and thushe provided strict ethics for the teachers. In addition, the students should always hold on to the noble ethics in interacting with the teachers, both in the process of teaching and learning and in everyday life. To achieve this duty, a principal employs various approaches and styles of leadership. This study aimed to investigate the implementation of the principals’ leadership in terms of guiding the teachers of Islamic education in the elementary schools in Indrajaya, Pidie. The focuses of the study included the approaches used by the principals in guiding the teachers of Islamic education (i.e., the use of charismatic potential and authority of the principals), the styles used by the principals in guiding the teachers, and the problems faced by the principals in guiding the teachers. The study used descriptive qualitative method. The objects of the study were five elementary schools within Indrajaya. The results showed that the principals applied their charismatic potential and authority when leading the teachers of which the charimastic factor was the predominant one. The principals used participative and authoritarian leadership styles, with the former being the most preferred. Teachers as a determinant of the success of the implementation of teaching and learning is required to produce high performance in carrying out duties and responsibilities to the fullest. This study actualizes the performance of certified teachers in teaching learning process in MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar. The formulation of the problem in this research; 1) How is the actualization of certified teacher performance in improving the learning process at MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? 2) How is certified teacher planning in improving the learning process at MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? 3) How is the implementation of certified teachers in improving the learning process in MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? 4) How is the evaluation of certified teachers in improving the learning process at MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar? This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach, data collection technique is done through observation, interview and documentation study. Research subjects were madrasah supervisors, madrasah heads and certification teachers. The results showed that: 1) Actualization of the performance of certified teachers in improving the learning process can be seen from the timeliness in carrying out the learning process, the accuracy of time come to school and going home on time. All discipline-certified teachers where if there are teachers who are unable to attend, they remain responsible for hours of learning in the like as with entrusted duty to the teacher picket; 2) Planning of certified teachers in improving the learning process can be seen from their preparation in making a good learning administration by preparing learning tools according to curriculum such as making syllabus, semester program, weekly program and RPP with the guidance of senior teachers and supervisors in teacher work group forum; 3) The implementation of certified teachers in improving the learning process undertaken is to provide early motivation, applying perceptions, using appropriate instructional media, managing classes, and methods used in the learning process varies, although of all these efforts have not all gone well. This is evident from the implementation that is still not maximized, so it seems only limited to the mere routine so that the learning process in the classroom running is not conducive and using a monotonous method; 4) Teachers carry out evaluation in all aspects of assessment ie cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Therefore, there is a need for teacher competence development that is influenced by various factors such as the principal's efforts. Based on this, the author wants to conduct a research entitled efforts of the principal school in developing teacher competence to improve the quality of education in the Public Senior High School in Banda Aceh which aims to determine the factors that can affect, the constraints faced and the efforts of principals in developing teachers’competency to improve the quality of education at SMA Negeri Kota Banda Aceh. Population and sample in this study were all principals of Public Senior High School in Banda Aceh as many as 16 headmaster are taken as sample (total sample). This is a descriptive research method with qualitative approach. data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentaries. Data was analyzed using simple statistics that is by tabulating the data in the table, calculating frequency and percentage then drawing conclusion. The results showed that the factors that affect teachers’ competence and the quality of education is the effort of the principal, training attended by teachers; learning facilities; teaching experience, health condition and educational background. Constraints faced against pedagogical and professional competence. The principal's efforts to develop highly effective and efficient teacher competencies can be done through MGMP empowerment, academic and clinical supervision and workshops or training with peers in schools. An issue apparent in Toweren Village was that many of its population who kept dogs without observing shariah guidelines and understanding the proper concept of mughallazahnajs. The purposes of this research were: (1) the efforts exerted by the religious figures, (2) impeding factors, (3) and problem-solving solutions on the issue of increasing the religious understanding of the community members of Toweren Village, Lut Tawar District, Central Aceh Regency regarding mughallazahnajs on the context of dog keeping. It is a descriptive qualitative research, and data was collected through interview and observation. The research results indicated that: (1) the efforts exerted by the religious figures were only limited to general activities within the community, such as Friday prayer, teaching of village apparatus’ wives on Friday morning, reciting yasin on Thursday night, teaching of district officials every fifteenth of the month, giving advice during a wake, and doing announcements using the mosque’s loudspeaker; (2) impeding factors, comprising: (a) internal factors, such as education background and the difference in characters among the community members, and (b) external factors, such as the limitedness of energy, time, fund, facility, media, and fiqh-studying programs, as well as a lack ofcoordination between religious figures and relevant government agencies; (3) solutions to be implemented included: (a) increasing the frequency of fiqh studies, (b) intense socialization of fiqh studying on the mughallazahnajs concept, (c) conducting a shariah-complying village program, (e) forming a special team to handle the problems faced by dog-keeping community members, and (f) cooperating with the village apparatus and district/regency religious agencies to treat this case as a top priority.","PeriodicalId":32967,"journal":{"name":"DAYAH","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48406759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
