In order to improve the running performance of the permanent magnet brushless DC motor (BLDCM) within the rolling rotor compressor, this paper builds the predicted model of the electromagnetic excitation and analyzes the electromagnetic characteristic of the BLDCM. Firstly, the electromagnetic field is divided into four regions in 2D plane, including the magnet, air gap, stator slot, and slot-opening subdomains. Then, the relative equations of the electromagnetic field are constructed, and the vector magnetic potential is solved by the variable separation method. Thus, the magnetic flux density of the air gap is derived by the corresponding vector magnetic potential, which is used to describe the electromagnetic excitation. Based on the built model, the effects of the slot opening and air gap length on the electromagnetic characteristic are analyzed. The analysis results can provide a reference for the improvement of the electromagnetic characteristic of the BLDCM by structure optimization.","PeriodicalId":32958,"journal":{"name":"Mathematical Models in Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44542263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traditional path planning algorithms generally use Dijkstra algorithm, Breadth-First-Search (BFS) algorithm and A* algorithm. Dijkstra algorithm is a search-based algorithm, which can search to an optimal path, but the disadvantage is too many expansion nodes, which leads to insufficient search efficiency. BFS algorithm is a heuristic search algorithm, which reduces the disadvantage of too many expansion nodes and improves the search efficiency by heuristic function. A* algorithm is a heuristic search algorithm that combines Dijkstra's algorithm and BFS algorithm, which has higher search efficiency and can search to an optimal path at the same time, but it is still lacking in the search mode and smoothness of the planned route. This paper first introduces the general path planning algorithm, then introduces and analyzes the A* algorithm, and proposes improvement measures for its shortcomings; finally, the executability and effectiveness of the improved algorithm are tested using simulation, and compared with the traditional A* algorithm, and the results show that the improved A* algorithm has good effect on path planning of intelligent vehicles.","PeriodicalId":32958,"journal":{"name":"Mathematical Models in Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46041400","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This change of the value of stiffness has an effect to the results of numerical calculation of dynamics of the system. For more precise investigation of dynamics a special numerical procedure is proposed in the paper. Numerical results for two values of time steps: large and medium ones, are presented for two cases: without application of the proposed procedure and with application of it. Comparison of the presented results indicates advantages of the proposed numerical procedure.","PeriodicalId":32958,"journal":{"name":"Mathematical Models in Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46087398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, these two different tasks often go separately: disease or pathology detection is often based purely on image models, while for example patient notes are treated only from the natural language processing perspective. However, there is an important task between: given a medical image, describe what is inside it – organs, modality, pathology, location, and stage of the pathology, etc. This type of area falls into the so-called VQA area – Visual Question Answering. In this work, we concentrate on blending deep features extracted from image and language models into a single representation. A new method of feature fusion is proposed and shown to be superior in terms of accuracy compared to summation and concatenation methods. For the radiology image dataset VQA-2019 Med [1], the new method achieves 84.8 % compared to 82.2 % for other considered feature fusion methods. In addition to increased accuracy, the proposed model does not become more difficult to train as the number of unknown parameters does not increase, as compared with the simple addition operation for fusing features.","PeriodicalId":32958,"journal":{"name":"Mathematical Models in Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41992739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The encryption rate is compared using 64 bits arithmetic operations. It is shown that the proposed cipher has a significant advantage against compared ciphers. It is achieved by consuming more memory for MPF realization. Mentioned ciphers are compared using the central processing unit (CPU) the number of clock cycles required to encrypt fixed size plaintexts. This paper also includes a comparison of a number of operations required to encrypt plaintext as well as memory requirements for each of the ciphers with pre-determined parameters. The main difference between symmetric cipher based on MPF and other standardized ciphers mentioned in the paper is the ability to work with larger matrix entries in comparison to other algorithms as well as availability to parallelize the process of encrypting a single block.","PeriodicalId":32958,"journal":{"name":"Mathematical Models in Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47985043","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on measured data for the vibrations at the site and dynamic finite element simulations, the propagation characteristics of vibrations in silt-rock strata were studied. The propagation of the vibrations of the surface, the propagation characteristics of the vertical vibration velocities from the surface to the tunnel, and the attenuation of the blasting vibrations along the tunnel’s axis were analyzed. The results of this study are as followings: in the direction of the tunnel’s axis and in the direction vertical to the tunnel’s axis, the peak particle velocities (PPVs) of the surface decreases with increasing horizontal distance from the explosion source. The magnitudes of the PPVs of the surface under five working conditions are the same when the surface particle is right above the center of the explosion source and 10 m away from the center. In the vertical direction from the surface to the explosion source, the vertical direction of the silt-rock strata and the vertical direction of the silt stratum, the PPVs increases gradually with the increasing distance from the surface in the vertical direction. The change in the thickness of the artificial fill and silt in the shield interval strata has little effect on the PPVs along the tunnel’s axis. The results of this study provide a reference for identifying the safety distance around the inhabitable areas of rock blasting under similar geological conditions.","PeriodicalId":32958,"journal":{"name":"Mathematical Models in Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49053195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bearings are integral components of rotating machinery and their failure tends to be a catastrophic failure of the machine. Poincare Maps are used to detect bearing failures using the concept of non-linear dynamics. Each time-domain vibration signature array has its own Poincare Map over a period of time. Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is a method of analysing the frequency plots of a bearing signature. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) process the bearing Continuous Wavelet Transform images and provide the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of the bearing. The Poincare Maps and FFT plots are used to diagnose the type and location of the fault in the bearing, whereas the CNN helps to provide the fraction of Remaining Useful Life. The study concludes that a combination of Poincare Maps, FFT analysis and Convolutional Neural Networks constitutes a robust and precise method of monitoring bearing conditions. condition monitoring, remaining useful life. Nitinol is widely used in the production of medical devices, especially the ones that are designed for minimally invasive treatment, such as stents to restore vascular patency, stent grafts to eliminate aneurysms, and cava filters to trap blood clots. One of the most important characteristics that determines the reliability of the functioning of such products in the human body is the state of the surface layer. The higher the surface quality, the less negative impact is on the circulatory system, the walls of blood vessels and the higher the biological compatibility of the product. Electrochemical polishing methods are mainly used to improve the surface quality of nitinol products. The disadvantage of the applied electrochemical methods is the need to use aggressive electrolytes that contain toxic components, such as hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, perchloric acid, nitric acid, methanol. As an alternative to the existing methods of electrochemical polishing, we have developed electrolytic-plasma polishing (EPP), a new highly efficient process for improving the surface quality of nitinol products. The most important advantage of the method over traditional electrochemical polishing is the use of aqueous salt solutions with a concentration of 4 % as electrolytes. Based on the results of the studies performed, the most rational EPP mode was established, the use of which during polishing of nitinol provides surface cleaning from scale, polishing with a decrease in the roughness parameter Ra by 0.344 µm and an increase in pitting potential by 33 %. test of polishing of metal products, development of medical products and technologies for their production, research of the method of thermal relaxation differential spectrometry to study the total thermal resistance in products of power semiconductor and optoelectronics. These criteria are important when describing the rate of confusion of bits in the ciphertext.
