The objectives of this study were to identify the learning resources that students use to comprehend the material in physics, identify the learning resources that need to be developed in physics learning, and describe the examination of needs for developing an e-module based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on heat transfer material at the junior high school level. This study (mixed method research) used both quantitative and qualitative methods. The research and development (R&D) technique employing a 4D model (define, design, development, and disseminate) was utilized in this study. However, it should be noted that only the define stage was addressed within the scope of this research. The primary objective was to collect data, for which 38 seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 6 Palembang participated by responding to an online questionnaire. Analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. The findings from the questionnaire collection were utilized to develop two e-modules intended to aid in understanding physics learning materials, particularly those related to heat transfer. The implications suggested that resources such as e-modules were necessary for students to comprehend and learn physics concepts, especially those related to heat transfer. Additionally, various learning materials like textbooks, e-books, worksheets, and online media were identified as essential for effective physics education. The significance of creating e-modules rooted in problem-based learning to aid students in grasping physics content, particularly concerning heat transfer, was highlighted. Furthermore, the research underscored the necessity for developing various learning resources such as textbooks, e-books, worksheets, and online media for physics education. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a none-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design research model. The population in this study was all students in class XII phase F, with a total of 8 classes. The sampling was taken using cluster random sampling. Class F4 is an experimental class with 35 people, and class F3 is a control class with 35 people. The experimental class implemented STEM-based PjBL integrated entrepreneurial character and the control class with conventional learning. The instrument used was a 4 question description test to measure creative thinking. Based on the t-test, it was found that the initial abilities in both classes were the same in terms of creative thinking skills. The average post-test score for the experimental class and control class. The phenomenon of sanja kuning is very memorable for the people of South Kalimantan, with its various mythologies. This will be interesting if discussed through physics learning to support students’ science process skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of students’ worksheets integrated with local wisdom, namely the sanja kuning phenomenon, and the effectiveness of learning and improving students' science process skills. This quasi-experimental study applies students' worksheets integrated with local wisdom, namely the sanja kuning phenomenon. Data were obtained through one group pretest-posttest design with a total sample of 28 people. Data were analyzed using N-gain, and student learning outcomes obtained a gain of 0.38 with medium criteria. The data were also analyzed using a paired t-test, and the results showed that there was an effect on the learning of students' worksheets integrated with local wisdom of the Sanja kuning phenomenon. The results of this study conclude that student worksheets integrated with local wisdom, namely the Sanja kuning phenomenon, affect the teaching of light waves. In addition, the effectiveness is in the medium category. This student's worksheet can be used as an alternative to learning about light waves. An examination of the scholarly output in the field of STEM education was conducted using bibliometric methods, focusing on publications published from 2002 to 2023. The methodology employed in this study is a bibliometric analysis technique combined with computational mapping analysis. The tools used are VOSviewer and Rstudio. A total of 25,318 articles were retrieved from the Scopus databases. These papers were published in social sciences, engineering, scientific education, physics, and astronomy journals, among others. The primary results indicate that the number of publications on STEM education has been generally consistent from 2002 to 2023. Co-authorship relationships primarily involve researchers from the same nation. Furthermore, a change in the areas of research focus was noted. Previous research has been extensively conducted in various fields, including the social sciences, engineering, scientific education, physics, and astronomy. A recent study has highlighted the significance of curriculum and curriculum development. This study aims to develop a feasible and practical physics experiment kit on static electricity from simple tools and materials. The static electricity lab kit was developed using the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The stages carried out in this study are only up to the third stage, namely development, because the output is in the form of lab kit products. The lab kit is made using simple tools and materials easily found in everyday life. The props can also be disassembled easily. Four physics teachers from different schools conducted validation of the lab kit. The validation results show that in terms of media, the lab kit has valid criteria, with a percentage of 98.08%. Regarding material, the lab kit also has valid criteria, with a percentage of 96%. Overall, the static electricity lab kit met valid criteria with an average percentage of 97.5%, showing that the lab kit could be disseminated directly to students. Class X-1 at SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya shows that student learning outcomes must be upgraded based on the researcher’s observation. The objective of fulfilling the Problem-Based Learning model with the Lesson Study approach in this research is to upgrade the cognitive competencies and the value of learning in class X-1 SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, with a total research target of 36 students in class X-1 SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya. The teacher conducts learning for three cycles on global warming material, with each cycle using a lesson study approach. Research data was attained from observer observations and data on students' cognitive abilities. Then, it was analyzed to define the percentage of learning completion and the intensification of cognitive competencies using n-gain. The research results show an improvement in cognitive competencies with a value of 0.557 in the moderate category. Apart from that, the research results show an improvement in the percentage of learning operations. This study aims to (1) create a product in the form of Android-based mobile-learning media that can carry out virtual experiments on learning about image creation in mirrors. (2) Assessing the practicality of the learning medium created for conducting experiments. (3) Understanding students' reactions to learning media based on Android. (4) Understanding students' comprehension of experiments utilizing the media generated. This research is development research, or R&D, based on the ADDIE development paradigm. There are five stages: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. The subjects in this research were 28 class XI Science students. This research design is a one-group pretest-posttest design. Questionnaires and interviews were used to collect data regarding suitability and student responses in this research. The data analysis technique employed in this research uses the statistical Wilcoxon and n-gain tests. The Wilcoxon test results obtained a sign value (0.000) < 0.05, indicating differences in student learning outcomes before and after treatment, and the N-Gain test results showed that 50% of students had high understanding and 32% had moderate understanding. Our participants were 33 preservice physics teachers in their first year participating in a scientist partnership program through online meetings. Participants' responses were collected through an essay questionnaire, and the result was analyzed with co-occurrence network analysis. Our research shows that preservice physics teachers have a positive perspective on scientists. The primary role of a scientist is related to a person with sufficient knowledge and opinion about physics. Their role is also related to the experiment and research result. Moreover, their innovation and discovery of new physics-related things also became their central role. After preservice physics teachers interact with scientists, they have higher motivation to learn physics. These were the literacy of science, Islam, and indigenous wisdom. The other was to maintain honorable character. The South Kalimantan people's local characters, especially Baiman (faithful), Bauntung (fortunate), and Batuah (dignified), are known as the taluba (three ‘ba’) characters. Using the ADDIE design, this study was a research and development project. Twenty-eight students studying work and energy in Basic Physics served as the research sample. The study instruments were the validation sheets, observation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. Tests, observations, and surveys were the methods utilized to acquire data. The Aiken formula, N-Gain, mean, and percentage were employed in the data analysis. With a value of 0.92-1.00, learning models and modules were known to be valid based on the data analysis results. In the very good category, the average application of the learning model by lecturers was 4.85, while for students, it was 4.30. According to the test findings, the N-gains for literacy in scientific, Islamic, and local wisdom were 0.93, 0.92, and 0.94 in the high group, respectively. The very good category's average taluba character was 4.61. Additionally, there was a good reaction from students to the learning models and modules. Employing a quasi-experimental method, the research analyzes the changes in students' HOTS before and after the ChatGPT-assisted instruction intervention within the \"Merdeka Belajar\" curriculum framework. The study's findings reveal a significant improvement in students' HOTS within the experimental group that utilized ChatGPT, as compared to the control group. Data analysis underscores the positive impact of integrating ChatGPT into \"Merdeka Belajar\"-based teaching methods, substantially enhancing students' HOTS. These results align with prior literature highlighting the role of AI technology in advancing education and fostering higher-order thinking abilities.
