The analysis includes questions about the role of Russia in European history and the socio-cultural factors of its national development. The author shows that during this period, the main vector of discussion of the topic was associated, on the one hand, with the idea of preserving the \"national face\" by the Russian people in expanding political and cultural contacts with Europe, and on the other hand, with justifying its readiness / ability to live in the world of national and cultural diversity. The Enlightenment became the initial basis of all philosophical reflections in this vein, and the interrelation of the national and universal principles of the historical process was considered as a mechanism of the civilized life of mankind and positive contacts of peoples with each other. In this research context, the national identity of Russia correlated with the achieved level of civilization: with the nature of relations between the state and civil society, power and people, legal rights and personal freedom of citizens. Within the framework of this approach, the methodological principles of the analysis of the problem \"Russia — Europe\" were formed, ideas were proposed, the philosophical and worldview meanings of which, as shown in the article, correlate with the key issues of today's models and projects of Russian national development.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox. Recognizing the great difficulty in reading alchemical texts, it is proposed to consider 3 authors (E. Husserl, M. Eliade and C. G. Jung), with the help of which a separate method is formed to achieve the necessary setting when reading certain treatises of this direction. The methodological principle necessary for its acquisition emerges.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox. The authors of the article come to the conclusion that they are not as much individually psychological, as objective, and are associated with the knowledge structure per se, which is obtained in the framework of various scientific disciplines. This knowledge altogether forms a “circle”, and therefore it is not possible to discover its fundamental basis from which knowledge should be derived. This imposes a number of significant restrictions on the operations that can be performed with the concepts of logic. These operations make full use of other research programs, precisely because they avoid the global challenge given by Hegel. Consequently, the ambitiousness of the task, the high stakes associated with it, accompanying its implementation, doom Hegel to use such a philosophical language, which is considered to be “extremely difficult”, “rigid”, “entangled”.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox. Its accessible publicity raises for various social agents the question of the constructiveness of their critical efforts. The article discusses how important it is for the effectiveness of criticism not only its meaning, but also the style of expression, based on the degree of willingness to see in those who stand on the opposing side of the social discussion barrier also human beings as the critic himself/herself is. Referring to two works by Timur Kibirov: the poem Through Farewell Tears and the novel The General and His Family, the author examines some aspects of social criticism that define its tone, intonation, including attention to sociocultural details, consideration of the ambivalence of a particular social phenomenon, as well as the doubts of the social subject concerning his/her own critical views.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox. Some of them are believed to be indisputable truths but they make no sense; among false assertions are the well-known statements “There is no rule without exceptions” and “The exception proves/confirms the rule”. One of the famous quotations, namely Gandhi’s statement that “Bad handwriting is a sign of an imperfect education” is dealt with separately and extensively. The author thinks that schoolteachers’ efforts are to little avail if the student has no talent for calligraphy and spelling (as well as for other subjects). The priority of sense is contended with regard to all statements including philosophical ones. The authors draws on Gandhi’s “Autobiography” and Oscar Wilde’s “The Decay of Lying” and their Russian translations to show that foreign texts reach the Russian reader with the meaning/message of the original more or less distorted. The Russian translation of Ludwig Feuerbach’s exposition of Spinoza’s philosophical views is subjected to criticism.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox. The stages of development of Heidegger's philosophy interpretation are highlighted. The talk demonstrates that the transformation of Heidegger's philosophy interpretation in the Soviet Union takes place against the background of the degeneration of Soviet Marxism in the USSR. In particular, this process determines the weakening of the radicalism of the Russian criticism of Heidegger’s philosophy and the legitimation of Heideggerian studies in Russia.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox. The authors show that it reproduces an ambiguous intellectual situation, which indicates an internal discord in the structure of scientific utterance. This raises the question of the need for a specific action for an adequate reading of Hegel's text, capable of overcoming this ambiguity. The result of using such an action will be that it will remove the critical distance from the reader with respect to the Hegelian work, and will allow him to \"enter\" into it. This revolution in the perception of the classical philosophical text, according to the authors, should lead to its actualization.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox. In the Note Strauss — in his specific manner of writing — consecutively analyses all nine chapters of «Beyond Good and Evil», trying show peculiar qualities of each chapter. Simultaneously he emphasizes some decisive features of Nietzsche’s philosophy in general. Among which one can name: a new concept of truth (as a result of creation and not of contemplation), anti-Platonism (an attempt of abolition or revaluation of Socrates’ legacy), the problem of nature (a transformation of universal nature into individual nature), perception of modern freedom as a transitional state from one kind of slavery to another which will be much greater and harsher. All of these efforts must give to the reader clearer, though, naturally, partisan image of the philosophy of the future, prelude to which this work constitutes.","PeriodicalId":328399,"journal":{"name":"Vox.
